In the past I've come to realize that here on the vine, there are stages to rpg life. As in this life there is infancy, youthful bliss, youthful realization, adolescents, middle age awareness, proverbial wisdom. ( I explained this a lot better a while back, and I should have saved but I didn't) I thin that along with these stages, there are specific genres that come through as prevalent.
So I ask what is your genre of character style/writing. It can be, in fact probably will be more than one.
•Action
•Drama
•Intellectual
So on and so forth.
When I first introduces Slight, he was completely action, but that was because of my need to show everyone how bad ass I was, this ties in to the life stage advancement I made earlier. Then it became more of a calm supportive wrote where I focused mainly on the story, and the Slight became way more emotional than I had ever wanted him to be... Enter long hiatus I come back with Atticus Blaire, whose fit me better than I think Slight ever did, which slots me with an intellectual approach to rpging, and by that, I mean instead of using my powers for everything, I have mainly focused on surmounting my problems with mental capacity.
What is your Genre?
I'm not sure anyone can define the genre my cast of characters have as a whole. I can't. :/
People are welcome to try though.
You name it I've done it. Genres are like different types of booze for me, I have sampled them all. I would say dark horror and historical fantasy are my trade mark genres however.
