Web of Gold: Bugrom vs Golden Man /rp/oc/

The Royal Guard has been busy as of late, finding suitable candidates to be relinquished to the king and queen of the hive. Mutants and mutates or metahumans are the best choices as aliens are not as abundant in this planet, he hunts them before taking them as prisoner. Before giving them as tribute for his stay he tests the qualities of these beings himself, to ensure that they are worthy to be presented to his lords. He is far in the mysterious land of 'Florida' in his world the entire american continent is still uncivilized and primitive, in this regard he is surprised to see so many activities taking place on its soil. Now he hunts a secluded area for all sorts of metahuman activity, there are rumors of a powerful swamp witch and with that he made a journey to find one.

The day had aged to mid afternoon so it was getting tedious, he did although web up a couple of bystanders along the way. All of them did not contain any powers, but they do have basic information regarding 'where' he is going and 'what' had happened to the country in the last couple of decades. Unknown to him a trail of three human victims will set an alarm that any hero can follow, but that might be a blessing in another way. @strongarm: Mark had heard that a creature of immense strength was roaming the swamps in Florida. He was interested because this creature might serve useful in his experiments. Even if it was of no use in that field, Mark felt like beating the crap out of something.

Mark landed in the swamp. He followed some scratched up trees and large webbing. He followed this trail and began to see a few corpses, but these people mattered little to him. Mark then heard loud footsteps. He followed the noise and saw the beast. "You are one ugly ass mother f@cker" he says quietly. He then threw two sharp dagger like constructs at the creature.

His back is stabbed by what appears to be mosquito bumps, he cannot feel pain in the same way as people do but there is something behind him. Senses show him of two light like objects, but he mistakes them as a breed of fireflies as he had never encountered energy constructs before. It barely penetrated an inch, but it did cut inwards, the encounter left somewhat of an impression in the hunter. Not that of interes, but that of curiosity as of what this potential prey may bring for his lords.

His opponent however will not have the same fortune, hiding is impossible since the energies inside him are as open as the index of a book. Again he was pestered by the annoying fireflies again in terms of damage it was relatively minor but if it builds up the accumulated damage could be massive. This time he uprooted a tree to use as a makeshift barricade, it was not a big tree and several branches came off which ultimately lessened the force of the attack. It was not effective as before, but later the tide will turn in his favor since fog will arrive.
