Three Men on a Rig

His eyes were blurry as he regained consciousness. He was on an abandoned oil rig, he had no idea how the hell he'd got there. His legs were shaky as he slowly rose to his feet. He heard the pipes of the rig creak and pop. He began to slowly walk, exploring the rig. Then he suddenly heard a familiar voice speak to him.

Ah. That's better. I've got an interesting dialogue in mind for when you all question my motives.

Kain was dead. Last thing he remembered was fighting himself than just dying. Now he was here. One some oil rig. A monstrous contruct of steel and glass. The cranes and drills toward of this what was thought dead warrior. He drew his blade for he knew all too well something bad was going to happen.

The smell of oil an salt water filled Gambler’s nose. Off in the distance the ringing of a buoy echoed across the ocean. A seagull floated by hoping to catch the scent of un-protected food, but there was no food being handed out this day, only death. Standing behind D-Man, hood covering his head from the rain, Gambler lit up a smoke and laughed,

“Tis about time sleepy head. Hardly seemed fair, killing you in your sleep.”

Kain continued walking along the rig. He was able to smell others on the ship even though the pungent odor of salt water, oil, and fish was incredible. He heard voices around the corner of main building on this rig. Kain drew his second blade as he snuck around the corner and examined the two figures talking. The dead prince was silent as a mouse and wouldn't fight unless something happened.

D-Man slowly turned to face his hooded assailant. The voice and choice of words was all too familiar, he knew this man well. He stared at him as the rain poured down his face. D-Man cracked his neck and loosened his muscles, something was about to go down.

"Pity, you should have taken your chance, now your soul if mine"

“Then come an claim it.” Laughed Gambler, before pulling out his staff and twirling it the air before tucking it under his arm. He would have to be careful, if one of his cards missed his mark it could cause a fire or even an all out explosion, bringing the rig down on them both. Gambler charged, jumping an spinning in mid air throwing a reverse heal kick at D-Man followed by an elbow.

"What is going on here?"

The soldier ran towards their battle and shouted.

"Why are you 2 fighting?"

Bueteka sat on a roof top her hoody covering her face, she sat on the edge of a builng with her black hoody, jeans and shoes you could hardly see her she had a sword in a scabbard strapped on her backa silver disc shield was strapped on her arm and she was eating an apple shiny black on the outside crunchy red on the inside, she could see King and Don just below

Still a bit groggy D-Man is struck by Gambler's onslaught; the kick connecting with his face and the elbow striking his chest. He hits the ground and slides along it. He looked up and noticed another, he was speaking but D-Man could not make out the words. D-Man rises to his feet and unsheathes his Japanese steel. He charges at Gambler, weaving gracefully. After a number of acrobatic spins and turns he slashes at Gambler's chest.

After a quick recovery, D-Man was back to his feet, gracefully weaving from side to side before striking. Quickly Gambler rocked back on his heals, bringing his staff up with both hands to block the blow, but the sword cut straight threw the staff and down the center of Gambler's chest.

"Ahhh" hissed Gambler as he dropped to one knee and rolled backwards.

First blood had been drawn, it dripped from Gambler's wound and mixed into the rain soaked deck of the rig. Quickly Gambler dove down a flight of stairs an into the dark under belly of the rig.

Switch swung himself up beside Bueteka, shielding his eyes against the slashing rain.

"Hey pretty lady. What you doing out on a night like this?"

He grinned and looked around for the combatants, his eyes struggling to pierce the sheets of driving rain.

Kain was pissed. He despised being disregarded. He put his swords back because he was going to kick ass bare handed. He ran after Gambler with rage.

"GAMBLER!"

Kain's eyes were filled with fire.

He watches as Gambler retreats into the shadows, not attempting to stop him. D-Man slashes his katana outward, removing Gambler's blood from the blade. He slides his blade into the sheath on his waist. He suddenly falls to one knee, spitting blood onto the deck. Damn him, Gambler had wounded him earlier and he was feeling it. He made his way to his feet there was a flash of lightning. He began to make his way into the darkness of the rig.

Ducking into the shadows he heard someone yelling his name, but this was not D-Man, no this was someone closer, someone he had a score to settle with. Placing his right hand on his chest, he lightly charged it, searing the wound closed.

He stood perfectly still, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Kain continued walking in the dark area he chased Gambler into. He was able to smell him, however his eyes werent fully adjusted to the darkness yet. He continued sniffing the air to find Gambler. Gambler betrayed the dark prince by joining the opposite team. His eyes were getting adjusted slowly but surely.

Without warning Gambler sprang from the shadows throwing a series of leg kicks. Then, dropping down into a crouching position, he went for a leg sweep.

Constantine woke up "what happened last night?" he muttered as he stood up to look were he was, all he could see was well sea.

Kain was able to dodge most of the kicks, however when he recieved the leg sweep he was taken down. Gambler's dirty style once again. All though he was a hero, he still fought like a villain. Some hero.

"There you are 'honey'. You don't call anymore!"

Even though he was going to kill Gambler, Kain had to make this joke. He used his tail to slash Gambler's stomach.

Constantine lifted himself up onto a second platform when up there he realised he must be on an oil rig he looked around it was quite slippy seeing no one he went inside a door and was plunged into darkness.

The man did not realize that D-Man stood directly behind the door he had just opened. He stared straight at him through the deep darkness and grinned.

"Speak or die"

EC’s tail sliced Gambler open yet again, but without hesitation he spun up to his feet an into a backhand spring, giving himself some distance. Charging at EC, Gambler jumped up and pushed off the wall with one foot, while spinning around throwing the other at EC’s head.

Constantine new there had to be something odd you don't just turn up on a place unless your captured, Constantine slipped his tranquiliser gun out and filled it with sleeping darts.

"No"

Kain put his arms to his face to block the kick, however the kick was terribly powerful and it send Kain sliding towards the back wall. Kain bounced off the wall and flew at Gambler full speed ahead. His dark fire was covering his body. His arms were at his sides with his claws visible ready to tear Gambler's face off.

"AHHHHHHHHH! GO TO HELL!"

D-Man saw as the man attempted to load his weapon. At that very moment he darted out of the darkness and directly at him. He brandished a shuriken, stabbing it toward his belly.

Instantly Gambler flicked a card against the side of the rig, causing a minor explosion and tearing a hole in the side. Quickly and without looking, he dove out falling a ways before grabbing the arm of a large crane an swinging around dropping down on another level. As he hit the platform, he balled up and rolled, crashing into several empty oil drums. His wounds starting to bleed threw his shirt. Holding his stomach, and trying to keep his guts from falling out, he looked for a place to lay low and catch his breath.

Constantine barely had time to think, he moved to the side as quick as he could put the shuriken cut him, he rolled backwards and with a clear shot of the man he pulled the trigger a sleeping dart going towards the figure.

The explosion knocked Kain to the side, causing him to get blown out the ship. He fell into the water and started sinking. He flew out of the water steaming. His veins were popping out but he decided to calm down to find Gambler. The vampire started sniffing the air. He picked up Gambler's scent easily due to the blood drifting. He could smell his prey hiding. He was close. Very close.

"This is the Gambler I've grown to know and love."

A slight smirk appeared on Kain's face.

Knowing the Vampire wouldn’t be to far behind, Gambler started to charge an oil barrel with energy, hearing EC close in, he rolled it towards him, standing up and flicking a card at it just before it reached the Vamp. It exploded into a ball of fire, that shot in all directions. Gambler turned an ran, diving off the rig and plunging into the ocean.

D-Man quickly cuts to the side, dodging the dart. At the same time he tosses the shuriken toward the man while he begins yo make symbols with his other hand, preparing a spell

"Son of a bitch!!!!!!!!"

Kain was hit with the oil drum explosion. He plummeted off the rig once again and was in the water. Smell traveled easier in water for Kain. He was sniffing the water and followed it. He saw Gambler up ahead. He created energy spheres all around Gambler. The dark prince ordered them to close in around Gambler and explode. After moving 12 inches foward, the spheres exploded. Kain looked at the explosion with a grin.

Constantine shoots twice more stepping backwards, he wondered if he still had his skull mask on....WHACK a shuricken hit Constantine in the forehead, making Constantine slip over, the mask had stopped most of it but a bit of the shuriken was cutiing into his head. Constantine watched as more shuriken pass over him.

One of the darts strike D-Man's shoulder but not pierce his skin thanks to his armor. D-Man places his hands together, quickly forming more symbols. He screams out Secret Ninja Technique: Art of The Ice Dragon At that very moment the air around them turns cold and a huge ice dragon forms out of the cold air. The dragon is unleashes toward his opponent,, threatening to destroy him
