@The_Puzzler: "Alright." She tilted her head downwards, looking at her feet.

@Amelia_: "Alright something is clearly wrong, with the whole hanging of the head an whatnot" Ivan put his hand on her shoulder.

@The_Puzzler: "I'm just.. tired, is all."

@Amelia_: "It's the middle of the night...And your tired?"

@The_Puzzler: "Not that kind of tired. I mean I'm tired of all this. Of the 'constant living hell, extremely minimal reward' lifestyle."

@Amelia_: "This is the life of our kind Amelia, crusaders of the supernatural, suppressors of evil..It's either this or a normal life, but I know you wouldn't like that..You would feel empty".

@The_Puzzler: "No, I'd be lonely and bored. At least with this I can suppress all the crushing loneliness with beating things' faces in."

@Amelia_: "Or, also hanging out with friends" Ivan smiled while putting his arm over her shoulder and chuckling while giving her a subtle shake.

@The_Puzzler: "Yeah.. there is that. But still, I'm sick of having my life ruined for this s**t."

@Amelia_: "Oh just quit being a mope for a millisecond!" He laughed and put his head against hers.

@The_Puzzler: "No, I'm being serious!" She raised her voice. "Why can't I just have her and live my lfie? Why do I have to keep getting f**ked up and beat around and heartbroken and cut and.. and" Tears had started to leak from her eyes. "I'm just f**king sick of it."

(OOC answer: Because your writer is a sadistic asshole, Amelia, that's why.)

@Amelia_: "Hey hey! Amelia calm down hun, just take a few breathes.." Ivan took hold of her, a look of sympathy to her sudden sorrow.

@The_Puzzler: "Like that's possible.." She mumbled in between sobs. "Christ."

@Amelia_: "Dammit Amelia! You need to toughen up or you wont make it! I don't want to be so rough with you but I need to be so you see!"

@The_Puzzler: Anger streaked through her eyes, and she forcefully shoved him back, not being entirely mindful of her own strength. "I am toughened up! I have been for long enough, goddamnit! F**k, who the hell says I want to make it, anyways?"

@Amelia_: Ivan stumbled back into the wooden wall, leaving a good dent on it as it kick started his coughing again, after clearing his throat he calmly looked up to Amelia and slammed his fist against a wooden board on the wall, causing it to fall off and reveal a ton of stakes. he grabbed one and held it in front of her face. "Do it, you want to leave people that care about you behind so they can be miserable! GO AHEAD AND DO IT! Cause I dont think you actually want to!" Ivan yelled.

@The_Puzzler: Amelia froze. Christ.. she wanted to grab it and be done with all this. At the same time, she couldn't. Instead, she dropped to her knees. Her sudden resurgence of strength vanished, giving way to a fresh breakdown.It wasn't long before she found herself curled up on her side, her ragged breaths interrupted by heavy sobs.

@Amelia_: Ivan tossed the stake across the store and knelt down beside her, it was his turn to comfort now. Holding her and stroking her hair sympathetically. "Shh.." He tried to hush her sobs gently.

@The_Puzzler: "I just.. want it to stop." She shut her eyes and curled up tighter still. "I want a life."

@Amelia_: "We all do hun, we all do..Shh.." Ivan was only concerned with making her calm.

@The_Puzzler: "And yet.. I can't have one."

@Amelia_: "We all get one sometime..Someway, just not yet hun.."

@The_Puzzler: "Tell it to hurry up. I'm tired of waiting.." She mumbled.

@Amelia_: "I'll make sure to give the memo.." Ivan looked deeply in her eyes with sympathy.

@The_Puzzler: "Good luck with that. It seems to be deaf, from what I've seen."

@Amelia_: Ivan put his mouth closely to her ear and gently whispered "...Im listening...Always..."

@The_Puzzler: "Well, that was kind of creepy.." She faked a laugh, trying to make it seem like she was feeling better.

@Amelia_: "Are you actually going to try and sleep tonight? I have an extra big blanket for you to hog" Ivan chuckled, not sure if Amelia was faking her cheering up or not, but he rolled with it.

@The_Puzzler: "I don't need sleep, remember?"

@Amelia_: "Right, keep forgetting that" Ivan smiled.

@The_Puzzler: "As much as I'd love to.. I'd be staring at a wall for eight hours straight."

@Amelia_: "You would..Love to?" Ivan played with Amelia, also was a little confused.

@The_Puzzler: "Sleep. I meant.. sleep." She replied.

@Amelia_: "...I knew that..." Ivan paused while holding her, muttering under his breath about how dense he could be sometimes.

@The_Puzzler: "Don't kid yourself. I'm emotionally unstable, not insane, you still don't have a chance of getting in these pants."

@Amelia_: "Hey now!" Ivan let go and backed off. "I respect the choices you have made and I would never try to change them!" Ivan crossed his arms, feeling like a bastard.

@The_Puzzler: "Chill.. it was a joke." A joke that was almost entirely insincere, considering she was still depressed as all hell.

@Amelia_: "Mmmhmm.." Ivan sighed. "Sorry I am so on edge, what I found out today sorta still has me on edge..."

@The_Puzzler: "Don't worry about it." She started to trace her fingers in circles. "It's a lot to take in at once."

@Amelia_: "Well yeah...Inevitable death is sort of a downer..."

@The_Puzzler: "For most people, yeah."

@The_Puzzler: "Don't kid yourself. I'm emotionally unstable, not insane, you still don't have a chance of getting in these pants."

@Amelia_: Ivan grew a little paler, thinking about his cancer. "I think I am going to hit the hay..I am not feeling so great.." Ivan walked over to Amelia and gave her a big warm hug. "Just remember your always welcome here Amelia...Always..". And with that he actually kissed her on the cheek and walked into his bedroom.

@The_Puzzler: Amelia almost smiled, briefly returning the hug. "Got it.. night."

@Chevaliere: Yes. It's basically hitting someone with your finger with enough force to cause stinging pain wherever you hit..
