Yeah, I definitely was not here in 07. I was still surfing WoW back in those days. I can image if was a wild town of uncivilized people. It was like every other forum of people on the internet. But then the Mods came into existence from the seeds of those who saw the land for the waist that it was, and could become. With their locks of infinite, bans of seriousness, and words of authority, they rained down on that gawd forsaken plain. Their holds of infinity stood endlessly against those who thought they were above them. From their lips, they breathed the law that would hold true. The stormed the flames into the shadows; beat the Trolls out of this land, and struck the rules that all must follow. Thee Mods shall reign for all time...Long live the Mods, Long live the Law, Long live the Vine...
@feral_nova: LOL, I remember after I made Mt.Fire, I got a pm telling me to go away lol
Ouch! That's horrible. I'm kinda glad I chose to join this year where it seems different. But I do agree with most of the things @superstay says about new users, like myself.
@shanana: Yeah, more than once. But... idk... I just can't bring myself to just... leave. I mean... I've almost been here six years now, that's a long time lol
Plus, I love writing with these guys and I know if I leave, I wont be writing anymore.

*I didn't interview Surkit because he asked, he's on the list I already compiled lol.
1. How did you find the Vine, and what made you stay to participate?
I think I was reading some arc in comics and was bloated with rants because I don't know anybody else who reads comics. I knew what a forum was so I looked up comic forum and found CV. Like minded people talking about what I usually never did got me to make an account within five minutes.
2. Describe the Rpg climate when you were new, how long did it take you to get accustomed to it
Explosive, innovative, confusing, highly social.
It didn't take me long, I was like the Pyro of the era. I went into the Trinity thread, didn't know wtf I was doin', and you (Sha) replied me and asked if I was interested in joining. After you explained the mechanics to me I got the hang of it pretty quick.
3. What made you start writing
The impressive posts dropped by the minute. Plus
I always wanted to create my own character. Never knew an outlet that seemed like it would actually be worth the trouble until I got here.
4. How is the atmosphere different from the Time you joined, and now?
General activity was higher. Now it's like we've got no middle ground. Either it's a desert or it's poppin. Back then you could log in at 3 A/M and see FP and Shadowknight666 Cain in Loners ping pongin hilarious posts.
5. What do you think besides activity makes an rpg successful?
There's not really one set way to success in an RPG from what I've seen. Two I can think of real quick:
Always put the people involved in a place where they can be given open creative freedom, but also be important to the present situation in a somewhat specific way, all while adding a layer of depth that burns it into your mind as one of the best. It's not an easy thing to do but if you can it's locked as a legend.
Course you can do all that wrong and still have a success if the chemistry between writers is solid and they bounce posts off each other.
If you ever read and RPG and it seemed like the people involved rehearsed it, thats good chem.
6. Do you think New Rpgers have a hard time making an impact?
I do, yeah. Not because they lack the ability but the knowledge that comes with some time and the balls to do something that might not pan out the way they hoped. I won't lie even to this day if my own setups don't work out I get annoyed but thats how it goes. G's been here I think he said six years, even his ideas aren't all hits. Just go for it is the best advice I can give.
7. How would you assess the current state of the Vine?
A lot of potential and steadily on the rise. Just needs a push.
8. Is there any older rpgers you wish you could write with?
Kurrent
Hawk
Babs
Psyentist
9. What has been your favorite rpg to date””?
hmm.... Top favorite, probably my first. Ruin Kingdom. All the Trinity ones were fun though.
10. Name your top three rpgers and why?
Andres Knightfall- Long list of reasons, his writing ability, his grasp on any character he makes, and his webster memorized vocab and it's correct usage every time. Far as why he's one of my top three we never once put out a stale story.
Sha- Personal:Same as Andres, we just, don't, fail. General: Just a bangin' write. like the Mcguyver of RPG. She could take anything, even something on paper thats been done a thousand times over and turn it into something fresh.
Mercy- Her ability to make you connect with her characters and empathize with their perspective is ridiculous. She's one of the people here that if she ever published a novel we'd see it on every shelf and know it was hers soon as we read it.
All three have unlimited potential and I'm glad I'm writing with them now so I can build a relationship and get money out of'em later.
11. Do you believe the rpg has a clique problem?
RPG has a tetris mentality thats all. get in where you fit in. 10 times out of 10 if people don't gravitate towards you it's just because they don't think they have anything in common, personality, mentality, interests, or writing wise with you. If thats the case don't try and get in the 'clique', make your own by bein' yourself.
12. What would be some changes (If any) you would implement if you were a rpg mod?
I'd implement a law where all rules are breakable for 2 hours.
@_cain_: I think you were the second guy I wrote with when I was toe dippin in Loners. If I talk about my first days on the vine I gotta name drop you.
@surkit: That was a really insightful interview. The Tetris analogy was perfectly fitting.

This is one of the nicest things that anybody's ever said about me. I seriously appreciate it.

I'm still waiting on you to write a book.
No problem it's a fact everybody knows. Thought it was weird you hadn't been mentioned yet.

I originally thought he was a lady. But, someone clarified me; and said she was a he. So, this whole time, I thought she was a he that I offended by calling he a she. Now, I'm so confused...
