Vigilantes Wanted: SLS (Street-Level Supers)

Forming a group of Street level vigilantes such as myself. You don't have to be a monster, but it's necessary to be able to hold your own in a fight. But, if you're looking to join a group, and clean criminal trash out of the streets, join the SLS. This is a heroic organization, but the dangerous ones have to be put down, permanently. If we can't rely on our prisons to keep them from killing again, we have to do it ourselves.

You can receive training in martial arts, the use of many weapons, stealth, and how to make the enviroment your greatest tool. The SLS has obvious perks, and would be a great decision if you're looking for a team.

@zaniel: He's against killing if it's not necessary. For example if in his super-computer the only outcome that saves lives of hostages is killing the bad guys then he'll do it. Has a situation like that surfaced? No.

@darkknightdetective: I don't even understand that. That's the reason the Punisher is and always will be the better hero. He actually saves lives in the long run. Unlike batman who allows criminals to kill forever and ever.

@zaniel: Punisher isn't a hero, he has killed more than he has saved in the long run. You don't save lives by killing, just because you let the bad guy live that doesn't make you responsible for their choices because it's THEIR choices.

That sound like a really fun idea, let's do it on tuesday or thursday.

@zaniel: But Batman has still saved more lives than Punisher has making him the better hero and I bet that if he was placed in half of the situations that Batman has been placed in he wouldn't survive. Like for example a situation like in the man who laughs.

@darkknightdetective: Irrelevant. Batman has inadvertently caused more innocent deaths alone by allowing the joker to live.

@zaniel: No, he has saved more lives by being Batman than he has by letting all of his villains live. Because let's face it, Punisher has never saved the Earth with the Marvel Knights or anybody but Batman does it every other tuesday with the JL. That alone makes him a better hero than Punisher.

@darkknightdetective: The JLA could do what Batman does any day :P He is just on the JL for the business side of things :p

@darkknightdetective: I don't even know what that means. I don't read DC. All I know is Superman could think of anything Batman could think of at the speed of light and do it all. In theory.

Gonna jump in and say, your not in a debate on who has the skills to pay the bills. We all know Bruce would kick Frank's ass, and can survive a metric f#ck load more than Frank could. Why? He's the goddamn Batman. But, if he had just "let" Joker die (I know he has saved Joker's life once or more in the comics), all his future victims would be allowed to live. As with all villains. Aside from Killer Croc, who gets beat up by mall cops.

However, I'm more ashamed of Gotham's legal way of dealing with criminals. Seriously, what a##hole lawyer keeps pleading insanity for those goons so they won't get the needle? Arkham ain't gonna cure anything.

@zaniel: The white martians had captured the JLA except Batman who managed to escape, he then figured out that the people that attacked them were white martians who were shape shifting, Batman breaks into their HQ and takes them down by exploiting their weakness of fire and frees the JLA. I can think of other example like these.

@darkknightdetective: You can't use pure plot based feats like that against me. I call BS every single time. Batman in no way or feasible form brings anything to the JLA team when you think any speedster who can think FTL (or near) could think of a trillion different outcomes or strategies before batman's mind has even computed he needs to start thinking of a tactic.

@zaniel: It's not how fast he thinks, it's how he thinks. Flash is not that twisted or paranoid inside of his head like Batman is. It also wasn't a plot based feat like that because it's the kind of things that Batman does. It's part of the character, if it's one thing that Morrison's run on the JLA got was the characterization of the characters and their abilities That's where the "ready when you are" pic that I use all the time comes from btw.
