anyway, Detail detail and more detail but too much and it will just be anoying, it dont matter how long the post is, if it is long, chances are, it wont be read fully. but too short and the others will walk all over you.

when doing a story RPG try to tell a story. dont just jump right into the battle with your first and second post. give it some time get organized do some planning with your team if your on one dont just magically know where the enemy is let them show their face.
in battle RPG's its easy to jump right in the battle because the person your fighting sets an exact location and the reason your fighting weather it be because he is wreaking havoc on a city or killing your mom or even a friendly fight in a danger room session.
i know its easy to get wrapped up in fighting but try to tell a story when doing RPG stories dont make the RPG to be an all out war right from the get go.

Probably, I think he wants us to give him a chance to create all kinds of havoc with his horsemen and then we come and attack him, so he can point out how powerful he and his horsemen are and how little chance we have of winning against them, yada yada yada. :)

im ronin by the way so the whole horsemen thing has nothing to do with it. all four of the people i selected to be horsemen could easily own almost everybody on the vine especially with amped up powers so the whole i just want to show off the horsemen thing is not in question just read any of their battles and you will see that i dont need to show them off.
im seriously not tryin to cause any problems i just wanted to point out what i thought the rules of a story RPG should be

we as heroes dont need to go attacking everything that moves. to be honest the villains havent even done anything yet for us to attack them and as for the EMP bomb there really is noway you can know that apocalypse set it off!
