The United States Army Special Warfare Command is a Special Operations Force tasked with the primary tasks of superhuman threats, and national intervention operations. The U.S Army Special Warfare Command is considered as an elite fighting force because of its immense drive, ability, talent, training, and motivation its soldiers require and the extraordinarily difficult operations they are able to complete. Members of the military branch have been given different nicknames, but are best known as "Peace keepers" due to their amount of skill in combat and the organizations' advanced technology, giving them the edge against enemy forces during battle. As a response to the sudden and widespread emergence of paranormal threats, United States Army Colonel David Colton proposed to the government to create a skilled tactical team capable of responding with quick and deadly force to these threats. He assembled the force and recruited the best soldiers that the U.S Military had to offer. Colton created a grueling training course in order for them to fight equally against superhuman threats.
Personnel
The Special Warfare Command is the spearhead of the Army's special operations forces, an extremely versatile group capable of conducting many types of missions, and ready to deploy by land, air and sea anywhere in the world at a moment's notice to respond to the latest contingency or crisis. The Peace Keepers are trained to infiltrate and exit by air, land or sea and have the capability to conduct conventional or special light-infantry operations. In many cases, a team will serve as the security element, the outer cordon, and often act as the Quick Reaction Force. While they operate large scale missions, like taking cities, or providing support to other spec ops, they are also trained to fight in unconventional warfare and guerrilla tactics. They specialize in going behind enemy lines for extended periods of time, forming alliances and training locals to fight for the same cause. They train and supply locals for missions and help destroy the enemy from within. The Special Operations force is composed primarily by U.S Army soldiers, but is also supplemented by representatives from other branches of the United States Armed Forces. Additionally, very few soldiers come from foreign military services. Soldiers qualify both in advanced military skills and regional languages and cultures of defined parts of the world. In general, all teams are equipped with i.e. tactical satellite communications, high frequency radios, and global positioning system. Besides their weapons, other equipment include electric and non-electric demolitions and night vision devices. Equipment distribution may be geared to conform specific missions.
For underwater or waterborne infiltration, scuba teams are equipped with open-circuit twin 80s SCUBA tanks, closed-circuit dagger, zodiac boat and Klepper Kayaks. Military free-fall parachuting teams use ram-air parachutes and oxygen systems. In some missions, soldiers are required to have special equipment, some which offer unique capabilities, such as EMP generators, and hand-worn heat pads with the sole purpose of melting steel.
It can be inferred from the quality of their personnel that those considered are in peak physical condition, maintain an excellent reputation as servicemen within the United States Military, and have done operational deployments with a team that provided invaluable experience. Candidates are put through a variety of advanced training courses led by military instructors. These include free-climbing, advanced unarmed combat techniques, Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape training. All candidates must perform at the top level during selection, and the unit instructors evaluate the candidate during the training process. The result of this is the soldier obtaining near-superhuman abilities.
Equipment
Maintaining a military force that is prepared to face superhuman threats often requires the acquisition and procurement of new and technologically advanced Arsenal. While the Special Warfare Command possesses conventional military weapons, most of the technology in the military force consists of recently developed equipment. It integrates high tech digital components into everything from fighter aircraft to armored vehicles. Vibranium is used to design melee weapons, armory, and even military bases, due to the capabilities and protection that it provides.
Most soldiers are equipped with a body armor woven from vibranium, which renders them completely silent as they move. It also refracts light which renders them practically invisible to conventional detection methods in total darkness. It is these effects that make these suits an effective tool against enemy fire, during espionage missions, to avoid firefights with enemy forces and completing the mission using stealth tactics.
Nuclear-Based Weapons
When the war in Henosha came to its end, an acquisition and cross-serving agreement was made between the Special Warfare Command and the now democratic Henoshan military. This gave the military branch access to Henosha's nuclear energy-based weaponry. Some launch low-yield nuclear projectiles almost the size of standard grenade-launcher rounds. They are very powerful and are capable of destroying almost any hardened target, creating enormous explosions that can destroy several vehicles and enemies with a single shot. Others discharge powerful green massive beams of nuclear energy with concussive force in the process, beams so powerful that they could go through a T-Rex's skull and continue further on through another.
Flamethrowers
Special Warfare Command flamethrowers are high tech incendiary weapons fueled by a highly flammable liquid which has a range from 5-15 feet. The Hellfire Flamethrower is the most notorious of these weapons. The device appears as a bulky, bronze colored rifle. It has a temperature gauge and a tube sticking out of the top which holds its gas contents. There is also a barrel located on the bottom of the gun which holds the napalm grenades that the weapon releases, which is an alternate firing mode of the weapon, shooting out highly explosive napalm grenades which can kill several enemies within it's range.
Military Vehicles, Aircraft, and Artillery
The VTOL 600 Warship is armed with miniguns along with five hard points on the wings which carry rocket pods and missiles. It is used to provide air support to the ground forces and pursue the enemy from above. While it is geared towards ground attack, its rocket pods may be exchanged with a missile pod for air to air combat. It is able to reach speeds of up to 500 km/h with a combat range of 1250 km with VTOL and hovering capabilities.
The M3A1 Abrams Battle tank has similar feats to the U.S Army's traditional M1 Abrams but twice the size of the gun and the turret. The tank's protection is known to be as one of the best in the world, as it is protected by third generation steel encased depleted uranium armor, offering significant protection against all known anti-tank weapons. The tank is armed with the M2 120mm smothbore gun and has in excess of 5 km of effective fire. Secondary armament consists of coaxial M2HB .50 machine gun, another .50 Caliber MG mounted over the gunner's hatch and a 7.62 mm machine gun over the commander's tank.
The M113A5 Armored Personnel Vehicle is a major comprehensive upgrade for the entire range of M113 variants. Its armor and overall performance is advanced from its previous variant, the M113A3, which was created with purpose of upgrading all M113 variants, because their firepower was considered inadequate, lacked protection, and their mobility attributes outdated. The M113A3 gave positive results and it was then when the creation of the M113A5 was planned. Like its previous variants, the vehicle is capable of: amphibious operations in streams and lakes, extended cross-country travel over rough terrain, and high speed operation on improved roads and highways.
The MaxxPro Dash is a mine-resistant ambush protected (MRAP) armored fighting vehicle. The MaxxPro Dash is a lighter, smaller and more mobile variant of the MaxxPro MRAP family. The Dash maintains the survivability system used on all MaxxPro MRAP variants while offering a smaller turning radius and higher torque-to-weight ratio. Optimized for difficult operations, the MaxxPro Dash can accommodate additional up-armoring. Designed to endure improvised explosive device attacks and ambushes, the MaxxPro Dash can withstand ballistic arm and mine blasts.
The Self-propelled 155mm artillery system is a high mobility vehicle that consists of twin 155mm artillery guns and it is used for long-range indirect bombardment support on the battlefield. Unlike the most self-propelled artillery, which are generally light armored, this vehicle is resistant enough to survive in direct-fire combat.
The Special Warfare Command also possesses the technology to wage war by attacking enemy computer systems, as well as destroying an enemy's command, control, communication and computing, surveillance and intelligence capabilities. The CHAMP Missile is an EMP weapon equipped with an electromagnetic pulse cannon. This uses a super-powerful microwave oven to generate a concentrated beam of energy. The energy causes voltage surges in electronic equipment, rendering them useless before surge protectors have the chance to react. The purpose is to destroy an enemy's communications and computing, surveillance and intelligence capabilities, without harming people or any infrastructure.
