Tournament of the Swords - Sign Up(Open rp)

Welcome all to the Tournament of Swords. This Sawyer the Cybernetic Swordsman of the Enforcers and your host , here to invite the best swordsman all around to come here to see who is the best of the best. This is a open invite to any one who wish to join but to get in there are rules to make sure you are ready to duel. So get ready to duel because who knows who might win.

What is the Tournament of Swords you say?

The Tournament is a huge or small(depending on who signs up )to see who is the best swordsman in the world. This tournament is promoted and sponsored by Peak Industries , which the use there state of the art VR(Virtual Reality) program to hold this tournament to the best of its ability so they can make a wide variety of places to duel in. The winner of this tournament will be crown the Lord or Lady of the Blades and can be invited to join the Enforcers and other prizes.

What are the rules to of the tournament.

All you need to be a swordsman of any kind .You can use your own sword but other equipment expect a sword is off limits .The limit of the amount of swords that you can used is no less than two. The win conditions are if you disarmed your opponent or you make them draw blood. You have to use your skill with the blade do not use your powers at all or you will be kick out of the tournament .

The Tournament of the Swords starts in a week so get to training you might need the training. So do you accept the challenge .

I use a sword and shield, would the shield be allowed?

What about knives? They're like small swords.

@shadowswordmaster: And you're saying you have to have at least two swords? And to win, you have to either draw blood, disarm the opponent, or make them use a superpower outside of swordsmanship?

Can I use these? They are Chinese Wing Chun swords.

@ramjam: well yeah but if make someone use there power in order to win I might go after you for doing that : )

@shadowswordmaster: Not like force them to by mind control or anything. Like, be all over them so intense, they panic and use their powers.

Then, if they use their powers, it's their fault.

@pyrogram:Yeah because those are considered to be swords not knives.

@ramjam: Yeah that's right but most of these people who sign up for this should be smart enough and skilled enough for that not to happen

@shadowswordmaster: Swords and Knives are the same thing just depends on context.

@morte_knightfall: Hah! I thought about it, but the sword/shield thing is kinda a cohesive system. Arming swords aren't too hot without a shield.

@morte_knightfall: They'll have a weapons re-mach :-) She would have used her sword in the first fight but I wasn't completely sure what direction I wanted to go with it.

Although I do have characters that use swords... I'll admit that in terms of writing any form of martial art I'm terrible. I'll sit this one out.
