LMAO, Desperate Housewives?
@_grifter_: @the_umbra_sorcerer:
I don't think spoilers are necessary, we all know how it goes.
You never know what the films are going to do with the characters and story lines. And maybe their's a couple RPGers who aren't familiar with Spider man (though it is rather unlikely.)
The Sage is a f'n moron. One of the worst characters in the entire series. He was introduced so so late into a narrative that's about to end that there's just no foundation for his characterization. And goddamn is he stupid. "Maybe I was too naive", no shit son, you really thought humans wouldn't use what are basically weapons of mass destruction for war? Very unbecoming of someone who's so deified and made to be sagacious and wise. But he's just an idiot LMAO.
@surkit: The crossdresser? won him an award so some would say it was just enough lol
@whisper_: Your on a bio rampage lol
@cassius_knightfall: I have to be lol. Trying to make myself write at least the basics of a bio before using a character and I've got two new ones.
@whisper_: You and your alts lol. I am doing mostly concept work at the moment. I have two things in the works one i kind of need to do a bio for which i'am not looking forward to. Last bio i wrote properly was Eddy.
Also whats the odds on one of the new alts being to work with Gamblers new account with lol
@cassius_knightfall: Interested to see what you've got in the works
Side-note, but are you getting notifications?
@la_espada: It baffles me that they're the same writers. The shows aren't even in the same league.
@whisper_: You know one of them i pm'd you about it lol but yeah that's happening. Good luck with the new alts will see if i can spot them.
and nope on the notification front.
@la_espada: It baffles me that they're the same writers. The shows aren't even in the same league.
100% agree with this. ATLA is miles ahead of LOK.
I have even played at being a hero. But I could not bear how foolish I felt every time I spared someone who was determined to kill me. I am not a dancer, or an artist, or a hero. I am no longer a daughter or a lover... Victim or student or slave. I am and always will be...someones assassin.
♥♥♥
@valerie_huntington: Yeah it's kinda weird. LoK had it's good parts, and I commend the writers for introducing three very prominent characters each from a different side of the moral and ideological conflict of the stories. Korra, Tarrlok, and Amon. And even more-so in not using villains for the antagonist and deuteragonist. Amon being a Byronic hero, and Tarrlok being an anti-villain. As well as using a sociopolitical ideology as the foundation for the main conflict in the narrative. But the good stuff ends there. TLA had better overall characterization, better characters, better character development, proper pacing, it addressed all of the conflicts central to the plot, and it was just more engaging. LoK had so many flaws I almost wasn't gonna watch the second season because of how bad the first one was.

Yep. I knew you wouldn't mistake which show was in which league ;)
@la_espada: I agree, LOK had some really promising characters and other aspects but I think all of its strengths were lost in how unorganized the show was. They brought up really interesting ideas like you mentioned yet the show still felt like a simplified version of ATLA to me, so LOK definitely had potential but it failed to execute in my opinion.

Would've been amazing if I'd gotten a notification for this >__<
Ha, anybody who knows you knows your love of Azula can't be beaten lol. I could write an essay about why ATLA is leaps and bounds better, tbh.
@whisper_: Been away to long I think! Hey!!! :D
@whisper_: I still need to make an Azula character...
@the_umbra_sorcerer: We've missed you! <3 <3 <3 How's uni going?
@whisper_: I still need to make an Azula character...
I hrrrrrrrrrm. I maaaaaay have an idea.
@whisper_: Aww missed all you guys too ^_^ It is stressful atm with deadlines and exams but yeah loving it especially Liverpool feel in love with the city and meet some amazing friends. weird being back home for spring break haha
@the_umbra_sorcerer: Awwwww I'm so happy for you? What subject are you majoring in?
Haha, do you have any good plans for spring break, or just kicking back and relaxing with family?

No doubt. LoK started off as a very promising series, but it was all ruined in due time. For one thing, the pacing was too fast that there was no appropriate literary environment for proper character development to take place. Using a love triangle to create a source of drama and tension among the protagonists was really cliche. And towards the end, the series became an unorganized mess as you said. Some of the things were just all over the place. They had WWl aircrafts but plastic surgery of such precision that Yakone (or however you spell it) managed to change his face so perfectly? LOL. And even though I didn't like Aang, he was a much better character than Korra ever was, at least in the first season.
She had no character development. She arrives in Republic City, challenges Amon to a fight etc. and then gets played, and we learn that the experience made her fear Amon. But an episode later without any development from it, she's suddenly not afraid at all. She also never addressed the sociopolitical conflicts of benders discriminating non-benders. Aang on the other hand addressed almost every conflict central to the plot of ATLA. Really the only saving graces of LoK were for a time Tarrlok and Amon (who turned out to be a b*tch), and Asami who was the strongest character of the entire series. Not only was she hurt by Mako but she learned that her father was funding a terrorist and she later had to fight him because he was going to kill her, she had every reason to become a dark character but she didn't, and at least it showed her character's fortitude.
@whisper_: Thanks you love! :) It's Film Studies but I have a lot of different modules that include film production and acting, criticism and review, scriptwriting, cinematography, documentary and cinema history! :D
Yeah my liver has taken a bashing recently with my new mates haha so I'm just relaxing in the countryside again with my family and a nigh tout or two planned with my mates here at home! nothing major. How's you what'cha been up too? :)
@the_umbra_sorcerer: Ahhhhhhhh that sounds so fun oh my gosh. Do you love it???
LMAO. If there's any time in your life for that to happen, it's now.
I've been good! Working a good bit, getting ready for summer :D Gonna be going to school in the fall myself.
@owen_porter: i raise you, as i care for neither.
On a side note say this on Facebook. Cue a comment from mercy/whisper
@cassius_knightfall: I just liked Amon and the whole Bloodbending thing. I've only actually watched maybe two episodes of TLA lol so my opinion is clearly bias.
@whisper_: Yes I love it, its amazing! I've known a few people on other courses who live in my halls/dorms who've dropped out cause they didn't like them so I feel lucky!
Defiantly here I'm up for it love clubs and bars myself haha like but I think ten days rest will do my body some good, good nights sleep again too and home cooked food just gonna fatten up while I can lol
OMG YAY what will you be studying and where?? :D
@owen_porter: I have seen bits of both don't care for art style and certainly doesn't sound my cup of tea at all. Your bias is clear though lol

I think if you're going into a course of study like that, it has to be something that you feel very strongly about. It's gotta be a labor of love.
Will probably be a good thing lmao.
I'm gonna be going to a local college and I'll be entering paralegal studies.
@whisper_: an indirect comment still counts lol. But yeah i knew the cuteness factor would be to strong.
@owen_porter: Wayne or son of the devil/antichrist
@cassius_knightfall: lol Wayne.
@whisper_: I agree with you there! It has to be something you know you'll enjoy! Yeah defiantly a good thing haha.
Wow paralegal studies that sounds hard but impressive! Here good luck with that hope it all goes perfect for you! <3
@owen_porter: I thought as much, the latter breaks from your archetype considerably
@xenon_: i could have an opportunity for you coming up.
Mmmm, I kinda wanna make a Damien character now lol
Damian not Damien.
@dark_vengeance_: Golf clap
