Thoughty Thoughts

I dunno, I thought it could be just a melting pot thing for general random says about things pertaining to the RPG forum. Thoughts, reminiscences, and stuff. Like for instance,
 
I think Surkit is the epitome of cool around here.
I think I would've done really well, and I would've had a really good time here a few years ago. There were a lot of people and idea things that happened that would've been awesome to take part in, like one of those schools or the Psychophobia.
I really look forward to seeing Genesis Incorporated in action. Venture kid or Kratesis would make a great straight man (or straight woman).
 

But please, positive stuff only. I don't want to hear any "Quickster is the worst seller ever, he has the dumbest character ever, and he sucks and nobody should ever write with him ever." This isn't for people to take out personal grudges and stuff or anything like that. There doesn't need to be anything bad said.

Oh, this is what's going through your mind RPG version. I approve.

• I agree that Surkit is a highly cool person both OOC and IC.
• Dark Legacy is a brilliant team idea. Right now it doesn't seem to be active, which makes me sad because the high concept of the team is really freaking good.
• Gambler deserves his ego. He has badassitude inversely proportional to his success. The worse things get the more awesome he is. He has this rebel rock-star style, and **** the world attitude that's pure literary electricity.

Lady Liberty/Kratesis is my favorite person to read, and I should take some pointers from her.

Mercy is a lot less scary without the tag.

I think the rules should be rewritten. Even when I started on the site over 4 years ago, I got the feeling that they were somewhat disconnected from the way the RPG scene worked.

Yeah. Plus one of the rules is 'don't use first person'. Kinda.. not cool.

And they don't seem to have any relation to what RPGing here is like.

Stuff like 'Make short posts' is obviously ignored by pretty much everyone, and is not enforced. 'Be original' is also a kinda.. weird rule. I mean how do you decide what's an acceptable degree of originality, and then how do you enforce that rule?

Basically the rules seem like someones suggestions once upon a time, that don't always have anything to do with the actual functioning of the RP forum now.

@Lady_Liberty On the originality thing is actually pretty easy. There was this guy once that literally stole the an actual character and just wrote his life out in rpgs

I really like the way all ZombieBigfoot's alts are all snarky. It's funny, and it's an easy way for me to tell which ones are his.

@Cedric_: Aw, but I really don't like Parchment 2. It always makes funny stuff and messes whenever I post paragraphs and post pictures and videos!

Its could to see the continued evolution of the RPG section. Every couple months or so somebody changes the game a little with new ideas or creative works and the vine is the better for it.

Its good to see people working hard and getting the props they deserve from being seen around Impero and Surkit for example have been busy of late.
