@xenon_: Back in the original Thor his cameo was awesome. Or at least I thought so. But holy fck did they drop the ball somewhere between that and Avengers.

@gambler: He's got no charisma, no....Nothing. Just an ordinary man who can shoot a bow really well, such a boring iteration of his character lol

Always difficult to hold my tongue when I see someone prepare to flesh out an "original" character I already did several cycles before 'em.

Truth is I can see myself doing a lot with this character

Renner is the only character of the MCU that did not have the PERFECT casting. For every role that they've had so far, the actor chosen was absolutely perfect for the role, almost as if it were crafted specifically for them. The only role that doesn't apply to is Renner's Hawkeye.

You mean Winter Soldier? Yeah, I was wondering the same thing.

I thought Renner could've done a good job as Hawkeye, but I wasn't really satisfied with his role in the movie.

This character is certainly becoming my main

@gambler: @xenon_: @schlampe@ren_ Now that's not fair, the only place you've seen Hawkeye is in a short cameo and only a fraction of the Avengers. The people making the calls need to give Hawkeye some character development time.

@victorgrey: He has been in an entire movie and sucked lol Black Widow was badass in Avengers, yet I did not call her out for being horrible at the time as I did for Hawkeye like 30 minutes after the movie.

@victorgrey: Mind control only changed his intentions, he acted exactly the same with and without mind control. The control only changed his intentions, objectives etc...Not his personality. Which sucked.

@pyrogram: It also ripped him away from interactions which would've highlighted his personality. It's not like he's going to shine with Loki.

@victorgrey: It'd be easier to sell that idea if not for the fact that it was the "short" cameo in which he shined the most. 30 seconds talking to Colson was better then 20 minutes fighting alongside the Avengers (complete with dialog and interactions). Its not like once he was restored he didnt have plenty of screen time. All of which had zero chemistry and absolutely no charisma. Outside of Tony Stark one could argue that Hawkeye should be the most charismatic member of the Avengers and yet he was duller then the Hulk on Ambien. Hell Crossbones made a better Hawkeye then Hawkeye. The way Pre-Crossbones acted in Cap 2 is how Hawkeye should have been portrayed (minus the betrayl and sh!t lol).

All I know is Black Widow and Cap's on screen chemistry was next level, and I hate the idea that it'll never happen simply because the comics had BW shipped with Hawkeye and the movies seem dead set on keeping that agenda.

Out of all my characters, I love writing Brahma Bull the most. His sociopolitical views, radical ideology, and ruthless psychological and ethical disposition are my favorites parts of his characterization.
