@pyrogram: Done already
The RPG character Battle Thread!
@warsman: No... We just have lazy RPers with delusions of grandeur who preach about how being street-level is iconic... Want me to have underlings run this gauntlet?
Dragons are quite the resource on Ragnarok. A brood of them exist in nearly every environment thanks to Karthana's persistence in maintaining her childrens' health. The particular breed closest to their mother is the Pyre Drake, which starts out as an egg dipped in an active volcano and left there until it hatches. They grow inside the magma, becoming one with the molten earth. Upon adulthood, they emerge from the fiery chasm, glowing hot and hungry.

@gladiatrix: @warsman Got a few of thoose on my revised list with Pyro, looks a strong team.
- Brahma Bull
- Xenon
- Feral Nova
- Edward Windsor
- Avatar
- Kratesis
- Superior Sapien "current" ( La Espada as sub if he is to powerful)
- Santi
- Glacier
- PsyKnight
The plan being that Glaicer, Edward and PsyKnight all have means of making fire less of a problem by either snuffing it out or sheilding others from it. Where Nova maybe completely immune to the fire as a fire user herself. The team has flight, ground speed and raw striking power as well as constructs skilled fighters and tactiacal fighters. Glaciers ice can help people with possible burns, Telkentics and construct makers can apply pressure and build braces to cover for other injuries. In short a very vesitile team with the abilty to do damage from close of from a distance.
@warsman: Would you say current superior sapien is to powerful or is he ok? he is a speedster with decent strenght. Thoose two abilties put him quite high tier but without extra abilties i would raet him less than superman level like requested.
@warsman: I wasnted to do a breakdown but i didnt know enough about the raw stats of the targets. I just went for strong fighters with anti fire as a result.
He has good burst damage, which is something you need against that many mobs. Solid choice.
Anti-fire is a good strategy. This will all make much more sense after I get the raids actually moving.
@warsman: With A couple speedsters on the ground and a couple flyers in the air should have good battlefield control. But yeha once raids starts i will get what i need to counter better. Team may not be perfect for it but it looks pretty strong to me.
Nyx may be a decent pick, what with her immunity to fire. Atrocity too on that note. And even though their own fire attacks wouldn't do much they have other stuff to make up for it.
@dark_hammer: You said sorry already man, its cool.

Anyone who can control or be immune to fire is a good choice for sure. Especially if they have the raw damage for the fight as well.
The Dead Haunts is almost exclusively speedsters.
@warsman: How fast as we talking? got a mach 2 in eddy and way faster with superior sapien ( flash level) .
The fastest is Jindaela, whose speed I put at a seven.
And that's being modest.
@cassius_knightfall: Ziah's Mach 3 + bursts.
I think Mach 3. Maybe 2. *goes to look*
Mach 2. But can go sub-light with Flash Steps.
Hey guys I'm so new here, kinda wondering how its done around here. Could anyone of you be my guide?
@warsman: Well in that case I think i have one Possibly superior speedster ( pardon the pun) or at least equal a couple quite fast speedsters who are versatile as well with shielders and flyers still to help.
@sweetsnowbell tahnsk for the help, i keep forgetting some of the others are mighty fast as well Avatar and Nova with flight are mighty quick as well.
@monkey_butt: While there's a help/advice thread somewhere that I'll link when I find it, first thing's first, ya gotta make a character biography. :) Try templating off of other user accounts here to get the hang of it.
Edit: Here's that advice thread ( www.comicvine.com/forums/rpg-9/the-rpg-advice-thread-1461754/ ).
So I need tricky mobs who can bypass shields.
There's no flying allowed in the instance anyway, so...
@warsman: I wouldnt have the flyers go out of range but use their flight speed as battering rams low hover style. Basically allow them to move faster but stay in contact range of the enemy. Also my team has at least two high level telepaths lol. As said i went for wide array to cover the bases.
There's no flying around allowed in the instance.
That's one of the rules of the encounter.
@warsman: Ah i thought it was a reach thing, not a problem i can work around that.
Huntertaker
A amalgamation between Triple-H and Undertaker... I created him for WWE 2014 and he RULES!
Has Hunters head with his long hair back, has Undertakers body skin with the tattoos and stuff, added a little extra bulk. Dressed him up like a biker-outlaw. He is a beast. Uses a mixture of their moves as well, a well balanced combination. All of my favorite moves of the two are accounted for.

By Sparrow I hope you mean Saint.
@_rose_: Yeppers, that's the one.
@warsman: I'm only here for about 40 minutes but if you want.
First, I have universal raid rules that apply to all available raids.
- Bosses are unable to be one-shotted unless specified otherwise.
- Teams need to be comprised of members that are fair to the situation. A water manipulator would not be at home in the Burning Plateaus unless they have an alchemist to transmutate stone to water for them, for instance.
- If cosmic characters or characters that might be considered cosmic (Prime LL) are involved, all of their abilities are reduced by 95% with a further Class 100 limitation on strength and durability. If it's something like "unlimited strength" then that gets taken down to a Class 100. Raid buffs and strength enhancers, whether medicinal, magical, or otherwise can counteract this - but within reason. Remember the first rule; this is not one of those rare exceptions.
- Environments are unable to be destroyed unless triggered by a specific event (Terrakron for example). This is non-negotiable.
The third one is really more for people who can destroy planets if they want to participate, making it so that they don't solo the whole instance.

The third one is fuzzy. There are some cosmic characters that have powers that are powerful but not represented by hard statistics or physicals. Vel'aaru for instance, her power would allow her to swallow most of these guys into emptiness, but her power can't be "reduced" without being removed.
That's what I was worried about.
What would you suggest?
@warsman: Unsure. You could simply set a cap at certain "tiers" of power, like disallowing anyone who could be considered herald tier.
Caps > debuffs.
Wittle kitty...
I have some more, want me to PM them to you?
@warsman: I'm on my phoñe now, harder to do stuffs.
:(
Pho-nyay.
Battle of the... Actresses?
vs.
vs.
- Actresses are in-character but have access to none of the powers or skills of the characters they portray.
- Random encounter.
- Their men are not one another's baby's daddies.
