Hair: dreadlock like appendages
Gender Differentiation: Women tend to be able to retract mandibles for a more traditional mouth. Males however are actually more capable of managing speak.
Biology:
A Xilaxian has naturally superior senses to most humanoids though it does come with some cons. Their natural vision is thermal though keen and able to see for several miles with relative clarity it's hindered by the thermal nature itself. While it could spot a living creature with ease to the point of even small animals and insects it isn't so good with cold content such as say reading a sign. Hearing to is quite far in range and clear in distinction, it however can be harmed easily by close loud sounds. Touch is one of it's finest talents able to go so far as picking up dead skin cells and do to tracking based training decipher the creature of said skin. A fact that also extends to various other elements as well, this tracking skill backed by a sense of smell as thorough as touch with the range of sight and hearing. Naturaly it's taste is also remarkable able to find the ingredients to an exact science from taste alone. Capable of tasting even the slight difference of one person from another. Further benefitted by this series of senses is a near sixth sense, from faint sounds the slightest of breezes and so on their reflexive abilities are often astounding.
Breathing: A Xilaxian exhibits a unique breathing function where in glands separate the oxygen atoms from all sources allowing then to breathe in what otherwise might be hostile situations. By blocking and separation a predator can breathe under water, fight in the oxygen thin inferno and so on. It is important to note they do need oxygen however they can be choked and can't just go into space unlike some of their prey.
Mental function: many believe a Xilaxian to be limited in mental capacity, fooled by their more classical weapon choices. This is far from the case however. With all the sensitive sensory attributes they need to be able to process such data. More so though is be it the classic gauntlet or the latest high tech blaster a predator has to not only be able to understand and repair it but do so fast fluid and regardless of location. Able to craft and use extensive technology and space craft it is important to note it's limitations are a species choice not a fault in intellect. The species is also quite adapt at learning and replicating a language made all the more fluid by their helms. Additionally the Xilaxian race has an ability to go into a sort of forced cryo sleep. The body goes cold and almost lifeless in presentation as it waits a time chosen by the Xilaxian. Some of the species are known to inhabit planets for countless years going into this suspended animation for centuries before rising to look for additional new prey.
Muscles and Organs: while humanoid in apearence a Xilaxian's body is still distinguished by various attributes starting with a secondary heart. For the body to function as it does this second heart plays a key role boosting blood flow and so on to acomadated the massive creature and it's relentless nature. This also assists the species in survivability having been able to endure a surplus of harm even when a heart is ruptured. Superior circulatory system which amplifies the oxygen flow and stamina of the Xilaxian body allowing it to fight and hunt longer then most creatures letting it stalk it's foe for months on end without tiring. Blood flow, bright phosphorus green in color the blood of a Xilaxian serves also as a coagulant and regenerative substance. When wounded a Xilaxian will gush blood quite a bit for a brief moment. This seamingly repulsive trait is done to force all harming attributes from the body cleansing poison and disease and so on before sealing the wound. A Xilaxian is hard to slow down with anything short of brutal injuries. Taking time to relax and let the body do as a needs a Xilaxian can regrow the rare lost limbs or broken bones within a night or two.
Two stomachs, or to be exact a sort of pre-stomach this organ breaks down a substance to allow the nutrients to be consumed without the ill effects. Because of this the Xilaxian "diet" is rarely effected by anything it might eat. Be it toxic leaded or anything else this additional stomach keeps the body going. This unique stomach also allows one to learn by what it eats. The environment in play where a prey might have been and so on. It's not flawless but it does grant insight on the suroundings. A Xilaxian naturally can lift most cars with ease and run up to ninety miles per hour their muscles a remarkable build. However those muscles can be swayed like the density of the creature to be more harmonious with it's pursued mark.
Bone Structure and Modifiability: the Xilaxian anatomy carries a unmistakably unavoidable durability within it's bone structure. The Xilaxian marrow is capable of enduring some say unrivaled force. Though it isn't unbreakable it has been shown to even resist blades like Vibranium the blade halting at some point before managing to moving clearly through. While their bones are constant the rest of Xilaxian biology is far from so unshakable. Within the mind is an ability to grasp it's bodies density by it's molecular bonds and cells and sway it as required. This goes further to boost muscular capacity, so that they can move at daunting speeds and exert monstrous strength should their prey do so. It is key to note however that this is done to rival their opponents, not to overwhelm. A Xilaxian can have the density of wet tissue or the kind that can rival a new god. This is the most venerated trait of the species as it provides the hunt to be as it should be, as predatory as it is balanced.
