Zeon sat silently behind her mahonie solids wooden desk, glaring down at a piece of paper that sat alone before her with a silver pen resting next to it. Looking up for a moment a small group of people that stood before her, all composed of family and only the most trusted Cardinals from each group, waiting to hear what the family Matriarch had to say. She wasn't a woman of many words, most of the time, instead she was always observing. But today, she had a few chosen words, ones that will heavily impact not just her family... but another.
"I called you all here today, because one of our own, was brutally attacked." She began, but brutally didn't even cover it... more like tortured, treated less than a insect. It turned the stomach of the family Matriarch, and while the family knew of what was going on, she had to make sure the Cardinals did as well. "This attack was done by none other than Quintus Knightfall." She could feel her muscles begin to tighten with anger, her hands that were hidden under her desk, out of site, were clenched with frustration. "Because of this, I have come up with The Decree of Cardenal Revelación, that approves unwarranted aggression towards the Knightfall Family." Her voice was as cold as steel as she brought her hands up from under the desk and with her right hand, picked up the pen.
For years she had been the sword of the family, acting swiftly and precisely on behalf of the Matriarch. But now she was the wielder of the blade, and with this pen, she was about to swing her sword at the enemy. Placing the ballpoint onto the document and with a swift flick of her wrist she signed the decree with everyone to witness this moment. "Let it be recorded that on this day, The Decree of Cardenal Revelación has been signed and shall be put into motion effective immediately." Her eyes shift to one of her fellow White Cardinals, handing them the paper. "I want a copy of this sent to every Cardinal outpost and given to every Liafador." Slowly standing up from her seat she looked back at those who were in the room, her expression hard as stone. "The Knightfalls have declared a war on this family... and I intend to end it."
