just to ask are there any cosmic scale events going on ?

Everyone and their mothers are going after a reality warping mutant baby on Earth, that's closest thing there is right now.

I will be having a Lantern Wars-style RP in the near future, though.

What's the black hand saga?

The Saga that leads to the final and permanent death of Vrakmul and systematically combat his labyrinthian plans to destroy all realities and remake them in his image.

It's like, twelve role plays long at this point.

And when it ends Vrakmul will be permanently forever for reals dead.
