The Comicvine Zombies

It started with a flash in the sky, and a ripple through the clouds. After hundreds of years, the Marvel Zombies slowly started to lose their hunger for human flesh. And they became humans, their Earth was restored.

But now, the same disease that turned them into zombies has arrived to the Comicvine Universe, and it has already started to take effect. With a few dozen heroes already infected, it is starting to repeat. Gte in the car, evacuate the city of New York, the zombies are here.

Try to survive or becomd a zombie, and destroy what has been built over so many users. The zombies are coming, what will you do to survive?

Rules

You can either choose to be an already infected hero or villain, or choose to be a superhuman that isn't even aware of the infection.

You have to be infected by either NPCs, or players who have been infected.

You can try to eat your zombie friends, but believe me, you shouldn't.

Stanley was just about finished designing the new wings he was hoping to start building by tomorrow. He was planning on making them hydro-resistent. Stan hated remembering what had happened a few weeks ago when he had been battling the Three-Eyed Sea Warrior. He was unable to catch him and put him in jail, because he had fled under the ocean.

Stan went over to the window. He looked down at the buildings, at all the cars and the people in the streets, and then looked up at the beautiful full moon. It reminded him of the night his father, the once brave hero named Mantid, had died. A bullet through the chest.

"Good night, moon." Stan whispered. He started to walk to his bed. He ley downa nd closed his eyes. He wondered what tomorrow would bring him.

Methos picked up his sword and took a swing, cleaving the zombies head clean off it's shoulder...

it had been a few days since the Zombies had appeared and the plague had quickly spread, not it was just a matter of survival and trying to find other survivors. placing his sword back into his coat he moved off back into the night, intent of finding as many survivors as he could

Stan woke up in the middle of the night. He heard screams down the street. He stood up, grabbed his costume and mask, and put on his wing gear. He would have to go and protect the streets even though he wasn't fully rested, and his wings were only ha'f charged. He looked over at the clock that was on his desk, 3:24.

He opened the window, and flew out. He looked down at the streets as he flew over them, checking for anything out of normal. "Hey you! Leave that woman alone!" Stan called down at two men who seemed to be wearing costumes too. They were all over a woman, he was trying desperately to get away.

It was now time for the War Hero to take control of the situation. He landed down and threw a solid ice ball at one of the men. It looked like he felt it, but he didn't mind. Stan didn't want to do this, but they had made him do it: With a movement of his fingers, he froze both of them, and walked over to help the woman. The sight was horrible, she was bloodied and battered, and the frozen men were also covered in blood.

What was going on?

It was 3:45 in a city and there was a massive scene of carnage as a horde of zombies attacked the city.

Upsilion punched a zombie into a inferno and it's dry flammable corpse lit on fire and soon turned into ash.

"You will know fear!" said Upsilion as he hit another one with a plasma burst incinerating another zombie

A zombie was sneaking up from behind but when he was about to jump on Upsilion, he got hit with the back of the Cyborg's hand and fell dead.

Then another zombie was hit to death with Ak 47 mk 3 rounds and another fell to one of his missiles

"Like shooting fish in a barrel" said Upsilion as he kicked another one's head off and blasting another with a plasma burst

He hit another one with his laser chain gun and the zombie soon fell to ashes

He then hit the last one with his railgun "Terminated" said Upsilion as he looked around making sure there were no zombies left and then rushed to cover.

"Doc have you found a cure yet to this horrible disease?"

ElusiveStorm had been waiting impatiently ever since finding a doctor who was a specialist in uncommon diseases in the slums of England. They were both underground in the doctors lab and were hoping to find a cure to the zombie outbreak that had taken hold of many superbeings.

"Patience is a virtue young Logan and if you want me to work faster you'll have to shut up!"

ElusiveStorm smiled at the aged wise doctor and directed his attention to a containment cell where a grotesque zombie was trying to free itself.

"yea i bet you'd like a chunk o' Logan's barbecued meat you slimy, dead son of a...."

Suddenly two zombies broke into the lab, they headed straight for the doctor but ElusiveStorm had already unsheathed his blade and took a swing at the undead monsters. The blade had sliced both zombies at once across their necks and fell to the floor, ElusiveStorm then dragged the bodies and heads out of the room and locked them outside the lab and barricaded the door.

The Doctor paid no attention to the whole scene as he was entrenched in his studies.

"What was that Young Logan?"

Elusivestorm looked at the doc wide eyed and surprised.

"You mean you didn’t see that? Well two freaky boys broke in here and wanted some doctor flesh and if it wasn’t for me you'd be dinner right now!"

ElusiveStorm then walked back to where he was staring at the contained zombie, their eyes met in a gaze of hatred and anger.

"Like i said, you'd want a bit o' me but you ain’t gonna have any!"

The Cyborg Commando was hurrying to a Typhoon class submarine that would go where no zombie could possibly follow, the Antartic

At the Antartic there would be no human life to infect but he would have to deal with loneliness, He was stronger than regular cyborg commando's but unlike them he had emotions.

"It's a sacrifice I'm going to have to make" said Upsilion then he saw a group of at least 20 zombies

"You wanna piece of me? Punks?" said Upsilion as he charged in guns ablazing blasting a zombie to pieces with Ak 47 mk 3 rounds and destroyed another with his laser chain gun

"Really you zombies aren't so bright or fast" said Upsilion as his flamethrowers activated and burnt all but one of the zombies to ash

"Hello you motherf*ing son of a b!tch" said Upsilion as he killed the last one with a plasma burst to the head and then he climbed in the submarine which held a crew of humans and was perfectly sealed off from zombie attack

Then the submarine submerged and headed for antartica

"Well we're safe from any zombies for now" said Upsilion

"Got that right zombies can't swim, their bodies will fall apart in the water" said one of the Crew members.

Ion was at home washing tv when it all started. A flash in the sky turned everyone into a zombie. Ion knew this because a special news bulletin appeared right when he was watching his favorite show. Ion was shocked and afraid at the same time. There some friends of Ion eating a normal man. Ion knew he had to do something so he turned into Ion and flew into the sky trying to rescue people.

The Submarine ran silently passing through many countries

Inside the situation was normal

"It's comforting to know that no zombie can enter this ship or our escort akula submarines" said Upsilion

"Yeah It gives a nice feeling of security" said a Crew member

"So anything of any importance?" asked Upsilion

"Well some heroes are taking action and countries with little life like Russia or Himalayan nations have very little infection but India and China is where the zombies have their greatest numbers as the disease could easily spread due to India and China's billions all being very tightly bunched together which allowed the disease to spread rapidly" said the Crew member

"Should we nuke India?" asked Upsilion

"No that would take to much time" said the Crew member

"Ah I see" said Upsilion

"So any heroes in particular trying to stop this madness?" asked Upsilion

"Well there is mantid's son War hero and Methos" said the Crew member

"Methos he's a powerful being he will put an end to this madness I have faith in him" said Upsilion

"So how come your allowed to communicate with the outside world" Asked Upsilion

"We have a classified radio system that cannot be traced by any means" said The Crew member

"Well that's a shocker" said Upsilion.

After spending a few hours and barely any progress made on finding a cure, ElusiveStorm finally drew his attention away from the zombie and started browsing around the lab. He was particularly looking for a radio to contact the outside world to see if there are others that are not infected.

"Yo Doc, you got a radio? Like those that try to contact the outside world with?"

"Actually yes but its quite old, its from my days as a radio operator during World War Two, it should work having the same components and frequency operations as the radios today. Its inside the storage cabinet where i keep other useful items that could be used in these situations"

The Doctor went back to work as Elusivestorm looted through the closet, he found alot of weapons and ammo among with weird inventions such as something that looked like a solar-powered blender. Elusivestorm finally smiled when he saw the twenty pound radio and brought it back inside the main Lab room. After fiddling with the ancient relic, he finally got a signal in which an SOS was being sent out from a location twenty miles from the lab.

"Doc, you hear that? Survivors! It isn’t even too far from here, I’m going to get them and probably borrow these weapons and ammo you got here but you take care of yourself. The World needs you and if you hear anything, Dont be a fool just look up. I'll leave you this rifle beside you and i'll set some mines outside."

Doc nodded and went straight back to work while ElusiveStorm gathered his equipment and strapped the radio to his back. He left the lab after making sure Doc would be safe and started heading to the location of the SOS signal. He tried to avoid as many zombies as possible, he figured that there might quite a bit of survivors and that they would need transport and started looking for a big vehicle that could haul the survivors around.

All of the cars and vehicles he searched couldn’t worked and abandoned the search for transportation until it was necessary. He soon found the location of the signal and it came from a radio station. The sound of garbage cans tumbling over was heard and then dozens of zombies appeared out of nowhere.

"Oh Come On! Well this'll be Fun"

ElusiveStorm started shooting the zombies one by one as they approached and the bullets barely seemed to work. He dropped the rifle and pulled out his blade, this battle would end quickly with ElusiveStorm the victor.

kuchiku lays in her bed when before she knows it wolverine busts threw the floor kuchiku: what the! wolverine sit there hungerly watching her he attacks kuchiku quickly upper cuts wolverine knocking his head off thinking its over she is wrong kuchiku busts threw the window flying over everyone she is scared to see that her former freinds are feasting on the living thinking she is safe she is fired at by the human torch kuchiku manifests a psychic throwing star and hurls it at him splitting his head open tarrified she sees an un harmed psylocke she swoops down fighting off the zombie hurd but they keep coming fearing for her lif she casts a spell teleporting her psylocke and survivors to a secluded island were they try to rebuild the world.

Lee sees zombies come ing at him "my re acurring nightmares are comeing true" he thought all of a sudden a zombie guy sensei dashes out of no where and kicks lee into a zombie neji who trys to bite him but lee punches neji away ...too hard lee broke neji's rib more leaf village zombies are comeing in on lee "guy sensei I know you approve this time" lee takes off his weights and throws them onto zombie guy and lee crush ing them in half lee then dashed off in a blurr of green. "mabe I could find help among the people of the vine" it was setteled lee whould search for the vines help upon decidind he dashes tward the vine

Rdeegvainl set down his hatchet on the table, bloodied from the zombie head he had just dislodged.

"It's not gonna last much long Gunny. You can already tell it's starting to bend."

The old retired Gunnery Sergeant hands him another. "You'll make due."

Rdeegvainl takes it, instantly noticing it more solid feel.

"What is this one made of, steel?"

The gunny just shrugs, "Dunno, I actually found it in an old military warehouse back in the day. Had that thing for years, it's never rusted or needed sharpened. Oh I got that SOS working last night while you were sleeping. Hopefully someone can send help."

Rdeegvainl adjusts his holster to fit the new hatchet, "Maybe it's better if they don't" he murmurs, holding his side.

After ElusiveStorm's encounter with the zombies he went inside the radio station to search for survivors and the source of the SOS signal. After finally finding the SOS signal commng from the main communications room, the survivors were found, what was left of them. They had mostly been consumed by the zombies, men and women and even children.

"These monsters truly have no souls, they will be the end of this word along with many others."

After examining the communicatiosn room, ElusiveStorm had found that the SOS signal was relayed from another place in downtown London. ElusiveStorm copied the frequency off the communications uplink and tried to contact any survivors with his radio.

"This is ElusiveStorm, is there any survivors out there?"

Gunny heard a call coming over the radio "This is ElusiveStorm, is there any survivors out there?"

"damn it where is that handset" gunny fumbled the mic and spat out his response "were here ElusiveStorm, me, and couple US Marines. We are on the third floor of a bar downtown, we aren't very familiar with the area, but we have about 3 dogs on the roof barking nonstop. You can locate that pretty easy. Nice to hear someone alive for a change."

Rdeegvainl slid his leather jacket on and heads to the roof, "Let them know I'm gonna make a signal fire"

ElusiveStorm finally heard a response over the radio, it had been many weeks since hearding another person's voice. Before elaving the radio station, he scavenged around the building to find ammo or weapons he could use but it had only computers and dead people. He ran outside to find that the zombie had caught his scent and hundreds were surrounding the station.

"Why does this stuff keep happenin to me???"

ElusiveStorm dove into a truck and lucky for him the keys were still in the vehicle, he tried turning it on and with anoter stroke of luck the engined roared with life. The truck started speeding away while running over countless zombies who were clawing at the windows.

Later on, he saw a green smoke flare on the roof of a small building, he knew it was the bar and he laughed as he heard the constant barking of the dogs. He pulled up to the bar and exited the vehicle, he then heard a faint beeping noise and as he turned around the truck had exploded knocking him unconscious on the street near the bar.

Rdeegvainl watched a truck speed down the road towards the bar. "Probably someone trying to get out of the city" He had thought, but when the driver exited the vehicle he thought differently. "GUNNY lower the ladder"

BOOOOM!!! The explosion blew out half the bars windows.

As Rdeegvainl watched the vehicle explode he also noticed several zombies meandering torward the new prey. With no time to waste Rdeegvainl slid down a water runoff pipe as he shouted again "GUNNY GET THAT LADDER DOWN NOW"

Hacking one zombies skull, he rushed to the unconscious man. After beheading two zombies that were nearing the man, Rdeegvainl hefts him over his shoulder and carries him torward the emergency ladder. "Damn your heavier than you look."

Reaching the ladder just as a mass of zombies round the corner Rdeegvainl says a prayer and starts to climb. Once high enough throws the man onto the second story fire escape.

"Making a scene out there were ya?" The gunny looked at the unconscious man, the burning truck, and the newly formed Zombie horde that was amassing around the bar. "Well at least we still have visitors after all this."

"Not the time gunny, this guy is hurt, might have a concussion." Rdeegvainl said.

"I know Ardee, I'll get the first aid kit, lot of good that'll do anyways"

After several moments of lugging and tugging the new visitor into the humble abode, the foreign Americans, break out the smelling salts.

Upsilion heard the transmission "This is Upsillion and I am reporting from the RFS Red October" said Upsilion

"We are changing course now" said Upsilion and the submarines begin heading for the city

"Men Stay inside and only let the cyborg out" said The Captain

"I agree I don't want you guys getting hurt" said Upsilion

soon they arrived at Britain's Coast and Upsilion walked to the city while the submarines moved away from the coast and re sumbmerged.

"It's zombie killing time" said Upsilion as he cocked his arm cannon

A zombie appeared but quickly met a missile, to the face.

"Idiot" mumbled Upsilion as he continued his march.

"Jesus Christ get that salt outa my face!"

ElusiveStorm looked around and found he was in the bar he was trying to get into, he saw a little red, white and blue flag on one of the men's shirts and started chuckling.

"Well well well some fellow North Americans eh? Talkin to you Americans will be better than talkin to that crack-pot English doctor"

ElusiveStorm finally got up after taking a few more minutes of gazing at the troops who were firing at the crowd of zombies that was charging the bar. ElusiveStorm grabbed his pistols and went to the nearest window and started firing at the zombies. His pistols werent doing as well of a job as the other's rifles.

ElusiveStorm then smiled as a bright pruple aura was glowing around his hand, he then shot a kinetic blast at a car behind a group of zombies which exploded making a nice mess of the street.

"Any of you guys a mutant as well?"

"You say North American like your not from the US, so Canada?" Rdeegvainl looked at the carnage on the street. Two heads were still alive. He walked back to a gun locker, pulled out a Smith and Wesson 500, and took aim at the hungry dead heads.

Gunny hobbled over to the gun case to close and cleanup the mess Rdeegvainl made. "Nope, not a mutant among us. Though I think you'll find us to not be helpless damsels in distress. Besides who needs mutant powers when you have friends like Mauser and Springfield."

Rdeegvainl finished his two shots, the heads exploded with a satisfying display of brain matter. "Where is Anderson?"

"He went up to feed the dogs, why?" Gunny's calm demeanor suddenly turned bleak. "I don't hear the dogs"

Rdeegvainl walked to the roof access. "It's locked" Rdeegvainl said, and unlocked the door. "It's blocked from the other side too."

With a tremendous roar the ceiling collapsed with a 300 lb hulk of a man falling on gunny and proceeded to bite into the neck of the retired Marine.

ElusiveStorm smiled as his new comrades had fought as valiant and brutal as himself, yes he was a Canadian and a proud citizen for many years, until he fled the country due to the Canadian government hunting him during his teen years. He rarely visited Canada due to the government's ever growing interest in the young mutant. After watching their leader Rdeegvainl leave to attend to his friend who dissapeared upstairs, he continued to fight the approaching zombies, until the roof collapsed.

Thankfully, ElusiveStorm dodged the falling debris and as the dust and smoke cleared, the situation turned bad. Zombies were flooding into the bar and with that fat one biting Gunny and Rdeegvainl out of sight, the situation was getting worse by the second. ElusiveStorm couldnt look around for anyone left alive and uninfected until the zombies were gone so he picked up peices of debris and charged then with kinetic energy. He then threw the explosive peices at the enemies around him and cleared the room of any threats including the fat one which was the toughest.

This attempt at clearing the zombies was useless as countless others kept of pouring through the new openings to taste their next meal. ElusiveStorm was surrounded and possiblythe only one conscious or alive out of the group.

"Yo if anyone is alive in here, i'd like your help! Gunny? Rdeegvainl? Anyone Else?"

Upsilion just entered the city after killing a few dozen zombies.

Then when he entered and saw a group of five zombies and said "Hello boys Did ya miss me?".

The zombies looked at each other and walked ever so slowly to their cybernetic foe only to meet a missile, To the face.

And the zombies exploded into many itty, bitty, bits and died.

A zombie tried to sneak up from behind only to meet a roundhouse kick to the balls and then a fist through the head and the former walking corpse fell limp and dead.

"Nice try but I have 360 degree radar so try to stop the loud moaning and groaning when you walk It really gives away your posistion" said Upsilion the the corpse.

Then Upsilion passed the street the bar elusive storm was in.

"Hey look someone who isn't undead and he's surrounded by undead" said Upsilion

"Hey you Ugly @$$ motherf*ers You want a piece of me?" said Upsilion to the Zombies.

"Hey piss off Dreadnaught i already called these monsters and i never respected cyborgs especially your types."

ElusiveStorm didnt care about the zombies around him, he never liked Dreadnaught in which he had met a few times before. Dreadnaught was a cocky robot and was a show-off, two traits that ElusiveStorm hated the most. He pulled out a box of matches and charged them with kinetic energy, he knew if he held onto them much longer, he'd be in a world of hurt but his kinetic sorce would protect his life. He then smiled at the robot and threw the box of matches past the cyborg's head and exploded on contact with a zombie who was in a large group of other undead flesh-eatin freaks.

"360 degree rader eh? You better get that piece of your equipment checked."

ElusiveStorm directed his attention back to the zombies who had him circled, he hoped they didnt detect the other humans that were "Safely" trapped underneath the rubble. He drew out his blade and started swinging wildly chopping off heads, limbs and unfortunately for one zombie, his precious jewels.

The zombies were defeated for now and ElusiveStorm wasnt smiling anymore, he was serious and was ready for a fight for once not against a zombie.

One zombie approached from behind Upsilion and jumped at him only to get hit by the back of his hand and the head exploded

"Moron" said Upsilion as he walked away from the dead zombie and Kicked another one dead in one hit which broke it in half.

And the last zombie looked at his comrades and laid down so he wouldn't impeed the two any more.

"That's what I thought" said Upsilion to the zombie.

"Now to Buissness" said Upsilion.

"I have submarines ready to bring us out of here you wanna hitch a ride?" asked Upsilion.

ElusiveStorm looked around, still no-one of the group was in sight and he started to worry about the Doctor. He nearly forgot about the Englishman during the whole battle but now that he had remembered, he started searching for his radio.

"Nah i got some business in England and if i need to get off this island, i already got a transport hidden in Grimsby, thanks anyways but you should try Winchester they might need some help over there."

ElusiveStorm got back to finding his radio and the others who had mysteriously become missing.

"I can help you find your friends, We will go to antartica, the artic, siberia, the Sahara, or the Gobi Desert, Or the Himalyanas, in these locations the zombie virus has yet to spread as there is no real human life there and we have enough room for about 50 more people said Upsilion

"So what do you say?" asked Upsilion

"In the mean time who are you looking for?" asked Upsilion.

"Forget it i dont need your help cyborg. They were just here before the entire place collapsed just go before my hatred for zombies expands to annoying half robot half humans."

"I understand" said Upsilion as he walked away taking no regrets.

He walked towards the docks and went back in the submarines and they submerged and steamed off

"Full steam to Siberia in mother russia" said Upsilion

"Da Comrade Commander" said the Ship Captain

"Sigh I guess we'll have to live it out in exile in Siberia where the Zombie virus can't spread due to the sheer cold" said Upsilion.

"Da Upsilion so how did the negotiations go?" asked the Captain

"I didn't convince them well time to head to port" said Upsilion

"Da Comrade Commander" said the Crew.

Stanley ate and ate, he chewed and he growled. He had been infected. He looked over at how his fellow zombies were doing, but before he could see what state they were in, he turned around to more. He needed the flesh, for some reason he just needed it. He finished the peice of arm and walked over to another pile of dead bodies.

He didn't remember how it had happened. He was battling four zombies that were attacking civilians, and then he suddenly woke up with the desire for human flesh. Three dead bodies digested, including one minor. He had become a monster, and he couldn't do anything.

He finished with that pile, and noticed that all the dead bodies he and his friends had collected were over. Stan needed more, he pressed the button on the side of his panst and his wings began to work. He was off, in search for more humans.

Stanley flew over the oceans, and over hundreds of land miles. After a while, he looked down to what looked like a human. But for some reason, he felt like he knew him, it was Elusive Storm, a member of the Outriders, the team Mantid, his father had hated all his life.

But Stan was actually a friend of them, and now he needed to avoid them. He tried as hard as he could to fly away, and he succeded, in a second he was miles away flying as fast as he could away from his once good friend.

Deeg had just managed to get through the door when part of the roof had collapsed. Several zombies had climbed a pole that was leaning on the bar after the truck explosion earlier. Anderson, stood, blood dripped from his mouth, one of the dogs in his hands. After seeing a human meal, Anderson tossed the dog of the roof right into the adjacent street.

"Sorry friend, but you have die now, I can't leave you in that condition." Deeg drew his new hatchet and aimed a downward thrust at Anderson's skull.

With an inhuman strength, Anderson backhands Deeg, sending him of the roof plummeting three stories right over top of ElusiveStorm.

"So Comrade why have you never been affected by the virus?" asked the ship Captain

"The fact that only my brain is organic makes me completely immune to the virus, there is nothing to infect whatsoever" said Upsilion

"So that makes you one of mankind's best weapons against the Zombies?" asked the Captain

"I guess so" said Upsilion as the ships were done re supplying and steamed off to antartica.

"It's going to be lonely at the coldest place on earth, no friends, no family" said Upsilion

"It's a nesscescary sacrifice Comrade" said the Captain

"I guess so" said Upsilion.

ElusiveStorm was happy to see that Deeg had survived the collapse and that he noticed his radio was completely broken, he started to look around for more survivors but gave up quickly. He started to exit the place and then tunred around and handed Deeg a map of England with a small building circled in red.

"I have to leave to the point thats marked on your map, there is a doctor there who i had been protecting for many weeks i must check up on him so if you find anymore survivors take them there and they'll be safe there so will you within the lab underground. Farewell and happy trails."

ElusiveStorm ran off into the smoke and dust of the outisde and dissappeared into the shadows.

The Submarines reached the south Pole and Thus begins the side story of the Communists in exile.

"We are here" said the Captain.

"Yes we are" said A crew member

"The very heart of antartica no one has reached this far into antartica and it is the coldest and safest place in the world" said Upsilion

"No disease can survive here, not even the common cold, which is by far the strongest disease ever" said The Scientists.

"Well let's stay here until the cure has been found" said Upsilion.

"A most wise choice Comrade" said the Captain.

Deeg looked at the map. "I know where that place is and I think I am here" Deeg said softly to himself "So that means I have to go"

"UHHH"

Deeg dropped to the ground as Anderson took a swing at his head. After trying to roll away only to be stopped by debree from the building, Deeg was lifted into the air and pulled closer to the jaws of undeath. Reaching for his hatchet he discovered it missing just as the first bite out of his arm was attempted. The leather of his jacket stopped any skin penetration, and allowed enough time for Deeg to retrieve the 500 from his holster and put it to the skull of his friend.

"I'm sorry Anderson."

A search of the area allowed Deeg to find the hatchet, and some ammunition for his 500, not much but enough to keep him alive until he could find more firepower. "Better get out of here quick, before all this commotion attracts more company."

Sticking to the path less traveled, Deeg headed torwards the marked location, after locating a light and managing to lift the manhole cover.

After disappearing into the slums of London, ElusiveStorm found himself surrounded. He had taken a wrong turn after being chased through the maze of back-streets and alleys and being closely followed by some more "intelligent" zombies. He was now trapped and with no where else to retreat to, he was tired of running away and decided to fight his way out.

"So lets me guess, din din time?" ElusiveStorm was confident that this would be almost like every other battle with the undead, until one of them spoke.

"Silly fool! We are mutated flesh-eaters! I lead dis here gang of B@stards, me name's Gorgutz "Ead' Unter!" and I’ll be keeping your skull on my right shoulder fleshling!"

ElusiveStorm was blown away with amazement for the first time in weeks, the first talking zombie he met and what an amazing test subject for the doc if he could somehow find a way of capturing them. Without showing any facial expression, ElusiveStorm blew away most of the undead talkers with his kinetic blast leaving the smart-mouth Gorgutz all alone.

"Too bad you need to be captured Mr. potty face, I’d enjoy killin you but since your the first talking zombie Ive met, you'll be a guinea pig!"

ElusiveStorm first kicked some dust into the zombies face and tied him up with some nearby rope and dragged the zombie towards the lab while it was cursing and screaming at his attacker.

Deeg traveled slowly through the sewer. Taking extra care to be silent in the echo prone area took much effort. Not using the light except when necessary, also made for slow going, but most of his efforts went to listening for any other movement.

"They can't see or hear me, but that doesn't matter if I walk right into them" Deeg thought as he skimmed the walls. Using the light through the manhole covers, Deeg estimated how far he traveled.

"About halfway there, should also turn somewhere up ahead if I can." Deeg took out his light, the path ahead was covered in debris and blocked. "Have to go back and find a way up I guess" he spole softly to himself. Turning around he was relieved to see no one had followed him. There was also a ladder nearby leading to the city.

After finally getting to the lab, relief was the first thing ElusiveStorm felt due to the lab wasnt destroyed and the Doc was unharmed. He took the talking zombie straight to the glass cell where the other one was but first killed the occupant then kicked the smart-mouthed flesh-eater into the cell.

"There's some meat if you get hungry you sick peice of trash"

ElusiveStorm never had been more annoyed after the rough travel he had with the zombie as it wouldnt shut up during the whole trip and constantly delaying the warrior due him calling the other zombies to stop ElusiveStorm.

"Hahahahahaha your going to die human dirt bag! Your all going to die!"

After eharing the zombie talk for the first time, the doctor was amazed at this incredible stage in the undead evolutionary ladder. The doctor dropped his equipment and went straight to the cell windows and started having a conversation with the monster. They shared the same "respect" for ElusiveStorm and started chatting about what they hated about him. Logan soon left the main lab room and went to bed so that he wouldnt have to listen to the chitty chatters all night long.

Deeg reached the ladder. After putting his hand on the rung he stopped.

"Why am I going up there? There is nothing but more fighting."

He slumped to the ground. After a few moments everything started to catch up to him. His family, dead, old friends, dead, some even killed by himself.

"Why go back to that" he thought. Suddenly feeling very exhausted as the adrenaline left his system, Deeg walked back over to the rubble pile to make a place to rest.

After digging through the debris and making a hole to sleep in, Deeg felt something touch him. Deeg instinctively pulled back. He flashed the light to see what creature of death was trying to feed on him now. The light though wouldn't agree with him, and instead showed him a still living young girl.

"Just what I need, responsibility." Deeg then went about seeing to the girl's injuries.

God....your so gay Dreadnaught

Davian Thule and two dozen superhuman soldiers of his military race known as the Inquisition had been tracking the ElusiveStorm for many weeks due to their belief that the origin of the zombie virus had started with him. SoulStorm would soon meet the Arcryn who unknowingly changed Davian's life and possibly unfortunately kill him. After searching London for hours, the Inquisition decided to rest inside an abandoned Hotel and hopefully gain some rest.

Rest was not on the agenda for that day as hundreds of zombies had the building surrounded within mintues of securing the place. Gun shots were being fired from a few of the many windows of the "Palace" Hotel and Davian firing upon rushing zombies as the purple aura grew brighter and with a blink of an eye, a glowing purple ball was shot at the zombies which exploded into tiny shards killing hordes of zombies.

"time to rest boys" The rest of the zombies retreated and the battle was over.

The cleanup and tending to the young girl was easier than Deeg expected. Just light scratched, and shallow cuts. "How in the world did this girl survive?" Soon the child started to stir. Deeg decided to sit back a little as to not disturb the child, "Just wait, and she'll get around to talk to me, maybe I can relax in the meantime.

Deeg sat back against the wall, him between the girl and the rest of the tunnel. He sat there for what seemed only a moment, lost in his thoughts, as time passed for him in the blink of an eye hours passed. The young girl regained consciousness, sat about for a bit, and stared at Deeg, making less noise than a mouse.

"Are you a nice zombie?" she perked

"What, gives you that idea child?" Deeg was genuinely curious as too her reasoning.

"You didn't eat me, that's why I think your a nice zombie. All the other zombies I've seen eat people. They are not nice at all." the girl's face saddened.

"Why can't I be human? Why can't I just be a normal guy?" he decided to play her game.

"Cause I can't see your head that's why silly?" at this Deeg laughed.

"My head is right here child, is something wrong with your eyes?"

"I can see your face and your hair, but nothing inside, just like the zombies, well not quite like the zombies, they have something bad in their heads, but you have nothing. That's probably why your so nice. Nothing mean in your head, nothing at all actually." The girl chattered a million miles an hour.

"Are you a mind reader child?" Deeg asked.

"NO, I don't know how to read yet, and I just listen and watch the minds I see."

Definately a mind reader, Deeg said to himself, just to young to know the terms. Well maybe she could be used as a radar or something. Deeg pondered alot of things, all the while the girl grew even more conversational.
