The Bookshelf

The bookshelf is one of the most desired magical locations in the world.It contains thousands of books containing nearly every spell in existence. Many mages have sought to find it and if any have they died before they could tell anyone. Thus the area has remained shrouded in mystery however there are a few facts that are known amongst the mage community. First is that the bookshelf used to belong to a mage named Eclipse, one of the strongest mages in history. He created the place as his home and it was said that he spent his life trying to discover the origin of all magic. Eclipse knew, however, that the people around him were afraid of how powerful he was and would inevitably try and get rid of him. He vowed that they would never gain his knowledge and used his magical skill to create four demons of varying strengths to defend the place while he did his research. Within the next few months Eclipse was sealed away by the council of magic, leaving the bookshelf to be guarded by his demons. No one was ever able to enter the place again, that was until recently. The two dragon slayers led their followers to the location of the bookshelf and made a deal with the demons. They would be allowed to stay in the bookshelf, however the Demons had to be there when the Acolytes completed their goal. The actual bookshelf is a magical floating island that remains hidden from those who aren't seeking it out. This is why most regular people haven't been able to find it.

The Great Library

The great library is one of the largest sources of magical knowledge in the world. It contains thousands of years worth of research and information on nearly every spell in existence. It also contains all of Eclipse’s research into the One magic, which is sought after by many magical historians. Any mage would be lucky to view this library let alone view Eclipse’s research. This however would not be possible as it is kept under protection by a magical blood seal that can only be opened by Eclipse.

The Throne Room

This is the personal throne room of Eclipse. The room itself can only be entered by the Demons and the only person allowed to sit on the throne is Eclipse himself. In fact if anyone besides him sits on the throne their body would be impaled by a spear from one of the armor statues and their soul would be sucked out by a phantasm that awaits atop it. The naked eye however can’t see this until it starts attacking them. The room is about 20 feet long and takes up most of the first floor sharing the space with the Library.

The Resurrection Chamber

The Resurrection chamber is a pit of endless souls, when a demon is killed their body is transported here. Thus begins the resurrection process, first their body is reconstructed from the magical waters. Following this their soul is reconstructed from the various souls that are gathered here. They then must climb their way out of the pit in order to rejoin their brethren. If a normal person was to fall into these waters they themselves would be converted into a demon the same goes for a dead body. Once a demon that person's thought process changes and they become a servant of Eclipse and the Acolytes.

The Dungeon

The dungeon is where the Demons keep people they don’t kill that enter the Bookshelf without permission. The room itself negates the powers of anyone who is not a demon and usually they are kept in the cells or chained from the ceiling. The bones of mages and others who stumbled across the place can be found scattered on the ground. While some people are able to climb out and escape the dungeon they are usually trapped on the Island seeing as how it is flying above the clouds.

The 5 Books Of Eclipse

The name “The 5 Books” is highly misleading as they are not books but rather, they are the demons Eclipse created to watch over The Bookshelf. They are called the 5 Books because when they are defeated they become books that can only be opened by Eclipse in order to summon them. These three demons are also how the island got the name “The Book Shelf”. These demons don’t wield magic they instead wield curse power which has no known weaknesses unlike magic. They are as follows:

Hound The Bomb Demon

Powers & Abilities- The Bomb Curse-Bomb Curse lies completely in the use of explosions, which can be triggered remotely or upon direct contact, and are usually on a very grand scale. The user can also create bombs, which can be done by either trapping people in explosive spheres or by creating an intricate seal on the ground, which acts as a motion-sensing explosive. In addition, anyone that makes physical contact with the user becomes "cursed", with odd symbols appearing on the attacker's body in reference to how many times the user was directly struck. These symbols turn the attacker into a living bomb and detonate without any prompt from the user. Also, as per their ability to turn whatever they desire into a bomb, the user's own body is not excluded from this, and by sacrificing their own life, they can create an explosion that can decimate a large town.

Shade The Thorn Demon

Powers & Abilities-The Thorn Curse-Through the use of several hand gestures, the user is able to create, as well as manipulate, thorns at their own will. The thorns are powerful enough to strangle and, at the same time, severely damage opponents. When desired by the user, the attacking thorns can even pass through the body of the target, as well as serve as a protection for the user. What the user creates, however, is not limited just to thorns and vines themselves; they can also manipulate their own Curse Power to take the rough shape of thorny vines and use it to shield themselves from harm, and can even fire off projectiles in the same manner. Additionally, the user can create a highly destructive explosion whose core is in the shape of rose petals.

- Thorns-The user summons a series of thorny vines from whatever surface they desire (this can be done with or without hand gestures); the thorns can vary in size, with the large thorns in particular being able to pierce through a body. Regardless of the size of thorn vine created, however, the vines still ensnare the target, rendering them immobile. Optionally, the thorns can be used as a torture device.
- Rose Explosion-With a simple swipe of their index and middle fingers, the user creates a rose composed of Curse Power directly ahead of them that completely engulfs its vicinity in a destructive explosion(40ft).
- Dea Yggdrasil-The user creates a massive spinning sphere from their hand from where an immense wooden beam is fired at the target. This strikes with the force of a large meteor.

The Rose Blade-The rose blade is a magical spear that can change it’s size when thrust. It is indestructible and can pierce Vibranium.

Regulus The Disaster Demon

Powers & Abilities-Calamity Curse-Calamity Curse revolves around the use of various calamities, such as tornadoes, of which the user is able to wrap around their body and limbs. One of these tornadoes alone is strong enough to demolish a mansion in mere seconds, and reach immeasurable heights. This Curse can also be used to provide transportation, enveloping the desired body components in significantly rapid wind capable of wrecking anything within its range, and granting unto the user increased speed and defensive properties; allowing them to appear unharmed after being struck by attacks. Aside from tornadoes, the user also has the ability to create earthquakes, firestorms, lightning, rainstorms, and mudslides

- Cyclone-Utilizing their Curse, the user creates a strong tornado capable of inflicting extreme amounts of damage to anything within its reach, including the ground beneath them and buildings constructed from stone(Strength can vary). They can also cloak their body in said tornado to increase their speed and physical prowess.
- Sink-Utilizing this spell, the user makes the target sink down into the ground, as if the ground has been turned into quicksand.
- Downpour-Utilizing their Curse, the user creates heavy rain that pours down on an area. If left unmanaged it can easily flood a town within three hours.
- Squall-By the power of their Curse, the user creates immense wind that strikes the target simultaneously, forcing them back.(The wind varies in strength)
- Whoosh-By the power of their Curse, the user creates fire that spirals around the target before engulfing them with the fire. (This fire burns as hot as thermite.)

Shatter The Mirror Demon

Powers And Abilities-The Mirror Curse-A curse that allows the user to summon and control the properties of mirrors(They can also move through any mirror). The number of mirrors does not appear to have a limit and multiple can be joined together, thus creating a three-dimensional object.The user is also capable of creating multiple separate mirrors to absorb and then reflect an opponent's attacks.

- Mirror Clone-The user can switch their body with a mirror within seconds allowing this clone to take a hit. When they make a clone the user turns invisible until the mirror is broken. During this time she also has unrestricted movement and is completely silent.
- Form Mirror-The user creates several mirrors that can absorb the opponent's attacks and reflect them back.
- Kaleidescope-The user surrounds their target with indestructible mirrors, preventing them from escaping.
- Mirror Prison-The user traps an enemy in a pocket dimension by pulling them into a mirror. They can’t escape without having the mirror broken from the outside or being let out by Shatter. Inside the pocket dimension there is nothing but an ever expanding still ocean that people can walk on.

Clash The Blade Demon-

Powers and Abilities-None-The only demon without a curse power Clash is the resurrected soul of Eclipses son. Eclipse didn’t give him a curse rather he gave him a special sword that has some special properties. Along with this he has a mastery of blade skills to a supernatural level. He has even been able to swing his sword and create razor winds.

Breaker-This is the name given to the blade Clash was given. It is a massive blade(6ft from tip to handle and about 1 foot wide) made of a metal similar to true adamantium. The blade is also enchanted and alive. Because of it’s size it was impossible to swing properly. Thus the blade was given an empty soul, this soul takes impulses from the brain of it’s wielder and then moves itself. So while it seems like Clash is strong enough to swing it the blade itself is moving with his neural commands. The enchantment on the blade is also very unique. The enchantment allows the blade to steal the powers of those who are cut by it. Usually they don’t live through one slash though. This weapon coupled with his speed makes him one of the strongest demons.

Random people shouldn't know of this places existence. The only ones who would know it was around are those who have spent time researching it or people able to detect the sudden increase in magic.
