"OK. This is worse than I anticipated. Split into teams of two and shoot anything that shoots back. I'll wait here and see what data I can get back to base." The team moved out with the practiced maneuvers of experts. Crouching on the roof of a garage, KnightWing picked off the enemy, but was forced to jump off to avoid being shot several times in the head. "Team! Get back here, now! I can see them massing, we need to take cover." They were forced to duck into a barn, only to find a massive behemoth colored bloodred, behind two ninja and a man in spider-like armor. "So, I'm assuming you're not our backup?"

"Best alone" Xia remarked as they reached the sight of mechanized take over. "Night good. Systems ready. Luck." Xia's species came from a world without atmosphere. Favoring silence her words were soft and sentence structure brief. What she meant was known by the team however. That as the agent focused on stealth she was better alone, the night was even better for her invisibility. Confident in herself 'luck' was a playful competitive good luck to the rest of the team.

Her image vanished no shimmer of air or impression on the soil Xia seemed to no longer exist. Only the highest forms of energy detection were likely to find her. Most forces from the galaxy let alone earth would spot her. Rushing through the grass she started by heading for the phone towers and few large buildings. Each a probable sniper point. A flash of tangerine ligh would emit from the machine piercing it's battery or skull. She'd drop just before a sniper attempted a shot once more gone. Thanks to the aid of her A.I Xia's executing trail was imposible to follow it's selection of targets seeming absolutely randomized.

Snipers clear though her attention was routed back to the leader of the group. Rushing past mechanized forces her path became far less mysterious as robots dropped in a zig zag battern. Reaching the barn a plasma bolt slammed into Xia knocking her through the door in a shower of splintered wood. Glowing blade and smoke billowing from her shoulder took away some of her immediate stealth advantage. Fortunately her biology meant the plasma had done no harm itself as the energy was absorbed. "Intel?" The singular word Xia's request for information on the troop before her.

"Deploying Cornelius. HUD's should sync." A small obelisk left taking to the skies. Using multiple visual means it provided a mini map with grand detailing of the environment and opposition. Sub cameras were there to watch live feed of how allies were doing. Naturally all of this was able to be toggled on and off and adjusted. Some soldiers favored less clutter or hadn't adjusted after all to these settings. "Do to EMP deployment I'd recommend keeping cqb minimal." For the energy soaking Blades these would be no issue efficiencies on others however was still to be determined as far as Victoria was concerned.

Cornelius as he hovered in the air began to drop mines firstly opting for EMP as stated. Only fifteen were carried and so ultimantly the trap lasted only for a set time. It'd make a fair dent however in the ranks of mechanized assailants. Victoria had adopted to the position of environment control her job being to manage things like maps fire support and so on. Taking the Seven resources and title as an excuse she'd also been toying with new gadgetry.

One of those such devices was nanites geared for the purpose of teraforming. Racing along the field invisible to the naked eye the nanites began to cover the location. And through command of the Lioness began modifying the scene. It wasn't long before the open fields and farmlands had been tailored to a more combat based design. Mounds of cover came to shield associates while the machines soon found them trudging through mud movement a struggle. This all lent aid to her own combative methods as those stopped by EMP or by the mud were soon struck by a orb of solar energy that demolished the automations and usually caused havoc to any near by.

"We can't all fall in else we'd be surrounded sir." With a thrust of her engines the Lioness landed infront of the barn a series of cords combined into a singular and launched to encircle the barn. From these cords soon leapt a wall of flame hot enough to melt steel. "I'll keep the bots out long as I can." Moving to the roof she again started to disperse suppressive fire.

@lioness_: "You have five minutes to cover us, agent. Then follow." Knightwing knew that Lioness would cover them, but now he was faced with the deadly mercenaries in front of his team. He barked a few orders into his suit's voice receptor and launched tear gas at his foes, who were quick to respond with several rounds from their guns. Their vision obscured, their bullets found none of their marks, but the Team was not affected. They launched a coordinated taser strike, incapacitating three of their four foes. Naught but a low growl came from the massive monstrosity lurking partly in the shadows. "RRRAAAAUUUGGGGHHH!!!" He roared. The beast slammed his foot to the ground, shattering the walls and exposing them to the robots. However, before the beast could strike again, the deadly androids opened fire-- on the beast! "Seems that they are programed to execute any living being, and that hulk was the largest thing in range." While the bots were distracted, the Team cracked open a titanium door with laser cutters designed to slice open diamonds. Inside, they found only a wall inscribed with the symbol of a half gear and the words: Deus Ex Machina. The door shattered suddenly and revealed the split head of a terminator resting on a plinth. "Deus Ex Machina. The God From The Machine."

Another titanium skeleton died in a shower of sparks, its body torn in two by a 27x4 mm projectile. The recoil crept through the metallic armor and bucked up into her arm sending echoes of it through her whole body. She was firing for only ten seconds but by this time the incredible weapon had already spat out 500 explosive shells. Still the metallic sea before her did not yield.

Like a deadly flood the terminators pressed on and on. Dozens of them lay by the wayside, proof for the destructive potential of Team Seven, and they seemed to know nothing but their killing program that ever drove them forward. Step by step the heavy weapon expert Blastwave retreated making sure not to expose her back or that of the team to the pursuers. While her right arm coated the horde with a seemingly endless array of brass the left grabbed the more eager of them who came to close and hurled them back into the fray in a desperate attempt to keep them at range.

Inside her armor the temperature constantly rose as the Uranos miniature reactor went to work to fill the terrifying array of weapons with life. Drops of sweat showed on her head from heat and effort to control the situation. It was almost like back on the battlefield in Israel. Select the target, control your fire, control the situation.

Being the slowest of the suits and at that forced to march backwards she soon fell behind the others, only a few feet but the distance grew as continuously as the mass of enemies. In opposite to her ammunition that steadily decreased. Another Terminator pounced at her from a previously save distance. Instantly the armor responded to her command and vaporized it with a four lenses shot from the Hera Laser System.

As she fired the Apollo Plasma Cannons at her hips Ruth knew this was a dire situation. The two blue projectiles left glowing tunnels in the attacking army where steel melted like ice in literal hell. Unimpressed the attackers lumbered forwards, metallic claws outstretched and bullets from assault rifles bouncing off from her bug shaped composite carapace. Red lights in metallic sockets promised a cruel but dispassionate death. Oh how she wished she could have used the Zeus Railgun but immobility meant demise at robotic hands right now.

The Styx Hellstream Minigun joined the fight with a humming entry spitting thousands of bullets into the besieged front. Shot after shot, step after step drove the temperature ever higher, her armored boots left vitreous footprints in the Scandinavian farm soil. Slight concern began to grip her.

“Um… T1 Commander? Do we already have a possible retreat? Situation’s getting tight!”

That was when the Iron Skull on the altar appeared on her linked screen.
