The fight that was always in the making, meant to be, fortold. Water vs Fire. Two powerhouses must battle it out in order to see one simple thing. Which element is stronger. Slight the weilder of the Oracle Force, is even without the cosmic entity an omega level mutant, capable of controling all forms of water. SUNMAN, control of fire, son of Helios himself. Both of them eager to settle the ancient score between the two rival elements.
Mother Nature herself had endowed them both with unimaginable power, and they both decided to use that power for the good of all human beings. But that did not stop them from clashing, as did the two elements naturally did. So it could only lead to one thing, a fight, well more than that, a battle. One that would no doubt destroy, so it was by pure heroic gesture that they choose a remote island scape to settle the score.
All around were trees, and shrubbery. Though the sun beat down upon the canopy, and reached into the lower decks of the jungle. It was a perfect setting for this epic battle, no one would get hurt, or at least no that wasn't supposed to.
Slight, The King of the Sea stood, waiting for his opponents arrival. If he was anything like he thought, it would be a grand entrance. And fire wielders, or so techniqly speaking, pyrokinetics, were usually flashy and bold. Unlike the subtle more easy going hydrokinetics. Which is exactly why Slight was the way he was. There was a great anticipation, but he would only let it show through words.
He waited, until he came...
Sunbeams and Rainstorms
Soaring through the sky, SUNMAN headed towards his fated confrontation. Long had there been debate over who was stronger. The Sea King or the Sun God, water vs. fire. Today the world would get its answer. As he wizzed through the heavens, he beat his mighty wings faster and faster, his eagerness for battle evermore apparent with each passing second. The warrior of Light was clothed in his armor garb out of respect for Slight, King of the Oceans. This fight would be forever ingrained in history, and SUNMAN would give no quarter.
His ears tickled with a whistling sound. Like the wind itself was being toyed with. Every so often a shadow would pass over him and block out the sunlight that shone brightly above him. Then like a meteor, he saw a vision of red swooping down. It was SUNMAN. Slight took this as an opportunity to learn of his abilities beyond fire control. He was a super fast flyer, comperable to his own speed within the air. So outrunning him was ruled out as an option. He learned to do this from prior battles with another friend of his. When he landed, the sand spurted up like water from a whales blow whole. And the ground shook, from yards away he could feel resonances of the landing.
Just like he expected, SUNMAN was quick to confrontation. His first words to Slight were "Well you highness, shall we get started." Not that it bothered him, just that he wanted more time to prepare. But he would oblidge him so, anyway. As his first attack, if it went as planned it would completley render his fire power usless. But that was if it worked. Slight was happy that he was facing someone with the magnitude of power such as SUNMAN, he felt like he could really let loose on him.
The ocean crept up the shoreline, and snuck back to its home. The attack would start there. "Okay..., you want me come and get me" Slight took flight, and darted towards the shore. Once there, he stood in front of the water, and lifted his hand above his head. Using his complete control over all thing water, he lifted the water, to form a tidal wave. The wave was massive, and under its crushing pressure, SUNMAN would have to evade, or evaporate it all. Bringing his arms from above his head, he thrust them forward and sent it toward the island.
Trying his best not to break a smile, he could only think that he was a masterful strategist. He knew that fire was weakened in the pressence of water, and if he could get enough water on this island the battle would be easily won. But, he also knew never to underestimate his opponent, becuase that always led to loosing.
