But the subatomic bugs it had placed all over the world, seeping into every crevice, planting themselves in every court and home, worming their way into everyone's private places like the slimy ropy tentacles of a hentai monster into the skirts of Japanese schoolgirl, had given it a new idea.
@lady_liberty: The vine's engineering seems to get continually worse. When they fix something two more things break because of it. I mean, I'm already hyper-invested into the site so I can't just *leave*, but it seems that there's cracks forming.
@the_red_sun_rising: Its crazy. I'm on a lot of other sites and a bunch of them are just some guy in Nebraska somewhere running everything himself. Some of them don't look to sharp but functionality wise they ALL work better than CV.
Yeah I feel the same way. If there was another superhero community that I liked I'd already be laying down some basic canon and making friends there.

Of course as time went along the vine put on more and more restrictions on new accounts (multi-accounting was nearly slain by a *horrible* multipass system), then they moved to the current account creation system, but ended up creating the post-limit instead of just making an effective anti-bot system (in any case, it'd have made more sense to make a *thread creation* limit, the spammers create new threads, they almost never post in existing ones), then they invalidated all the old "one e-mail, all the accounts" accounts, then they increased the post-limit duration.

Also your breakdown upon further Reflection of original statement was pretty much the idea i was going with in my own personal headcanon. A OP for RPGs if you will, a place and theme setter when needed. I need to word things better and not assume they are on the same wavelength.
But I'm working on Ivana's backstory and wanted to know if you wanted Tombstone to be one of her parents enemies? They were mutant extremists who got their villain start in the post WW2 era, so he would have been around back then.
He was more cheerful, actually befriended the living, wasn't quite so scrooge McDuck rich (still very wealthy but didn't have more money than a small country), his equipment wasn't quite as good, he was a tad less skilled, and he actually cracked a joke.
His Aunt's death is what made him go from just grim to utterly joyless.
