Should I link my characters?

But, honestly? Yes, do that. It gives the characters many angles to work with.

I prefer having multiple accounts for different characters, but that's just me.

I'm not going to go "ARRRGH YOU PISS ME OFF, I DON"T WANNA RP WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU DONT HAVE MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS". Know what I mean?

I have Maverick on the same account because honestly, they all relate back to the same faction. May as well have em on one account. IF you have bunch of accounts made already, then I think it's a good idea to make a link to them all.

It's mostly to save time on logging in and out, and to avoid making new email accounts. I may split them into 3 accounts, Good, Neutral, and Evil (ala weARElegion), but most of my characters are grey area in terms of morality, so I'll most likely put them all under my non-RP account. Make it all-purpose.

I have, like, 13 accounts, all with their own characters. I'm wondering if I should take all of their bios and link them into a single profile, like what I've done here, but with EVERY character of mine. Ever.

@geth: I see O__O your as bad as my sister. But if you link all of your alts, isn't that simply just making one more alt?

@eleanor_ruthven: I was a CV member for a good year or two before I even discovered the RP section (Pyrogram be praised), so I was going to put them all on my non-RP main as an all-purpose account. I frequent Battles and (formerly) Fan-Fic as well.

And I'm as bad.... As your sister? Do tell.

It's cool that you're related to a fellow Viner. I got a friend involved, who in turn got his brother going. They're noobs though, still trying to find time to mentor them, they're only online during work hours.

@geth: I link mine by style of writing and character genre. Having all under one acc sometimes causes miscommunications.

I personally love having alts, logging into different character accounts helps me get into the mindset of characters. And overall I just love the feel of each character having their own personal profile.

But if you don't need that, then pphhhh forget making alts! LOL Go for linking them!

My only thing is that when you make a post in a large scale RP, are you going to put at the top of each post (THIS POST IS FOR GETH!) so we won't get confused on which character you're using? or something? >.>

I know where you're coming from with the getting in character thing, and tbh, I just rehearse the post in my head. "Is this my character?" It shouldn't be too much of a problem. Maybe changing my AV could be enough? I just kind of want everything easy access for me and other people.

Ownagepants, for example, asked me yesterday what my alts were (so we could battle some characters) Well, it turns out I've got 22 different characters on 15 different profiles, and I can't link very easily on mobile.

In the end, it's really a convenience thing.
