One week ago:

Again and again, there was that same face in his mind; that same symbol. Ever since Luthor gave Warsman Kryptonian DNA to live on, the cyborg was no longer what people knew him to be. No, he was far more than what he would ever be. He was an Olympian comparedto the brigand he wad; a god to a lowly demon. Luthor had made Warsman better, the best! But no, no, he was not the best...because of that damned man, that damned symbol! NO! There was no victory over everything that symbol meant, over what its wearers made it into!

The punching bag soared into the ceiling and broke through the steal, the lead weights within it cracking the chain it was supported on as it tumbled back down and into a crater on the floor.

 That damned...Superman...

The scientists recorded the man's strength, his muscles teeming with sweat and his lungs heavy with fatigue. Twenty punches in ten seconds would've dented on lead weight within the bag. Warsman had fired off twenty in three seconds for about an hour, not stopping, even for breath, as his body pleaded for mercy.

Present-day:

As the sun waned, Warsman prepared. Clothed in damage-resistant elastic armor (cut off at the wrists, for Warsman longed to have flesh and blood at the touch again), red boots made of the same material, and a red cape made of heat-resistant silks and polymers, Warsman stepped out of the preparation offices into the main arena; upon his chest, was the letter "U", for "ultimatum", in crimson. In his hatred for Superman, he had scorned the costume and made it his own instead of righteous.

A wager was made, at the beginning of the last week, between Luthor and an unnamed organization that if one of each other's best fighters would defeat the other in combat, the loser would sell parts of their company to the winner.

He was ordered to stop halfway to the center of the arena and wait for his opponent. He crossed his arms behind him, tapping a foot impatiently as his teeth clacked together in the form of a habit developed under situations of anxiety and ecstasy. The floor was solid concrete, and the walls were steel as an audience watched from behind enormous windows. They fell silent as the opposing doors opened...

"Ordinary people across the globe discover extraordinary abilities   and their destiny is bringing them together. The alien who fights for a side destined to lose. And an extraordinary new being is discovered. Her powers defy logic they are truly the the impossible, the face of evil is with her. And a world turns its leaders in search for heroes but there are no heroes, just righteous people, and when the righteous fall they return to that of an ordinary person. When that person is pushed to the edge..A Villain is born

Dr. Shayla Austin…

The black veil that covered her face was not that of clothing, no fabric could contain the darkness her face poessed. She walked through the endless ravine of nothingness, her black and white cape flapped behind her; she knew where her destination was and she was steadily walking towards her acess point. She had agreed to fight someone for a friend of hers, and in return she could collect the knowledge the loser had obtained over the years.

She had been killing off many of the smaller superhuman, and finding the membranes in their body as to how their powers work and what triggers them, she finally grew tired of walking and extended her hands and ripped a whole in the fabric of Darkness, which created a Portal on the outside world. She pushed open the nearest door and glanced over at her opponent. She first thought he was superman but after taking a closer look she realized he wasn’t. She took a time to glance at her surroundings; fans were going crazy some of them high fiving and drinking, she then turned her attention to the bright lights which reminded her of a football game for highschoolers. She smiled and then said to herself, THAT’S RIGHT ENJOY THE LAST HOUR OF YOUR LIFE. She then turned her attention back to her opponent, she smiled at him and then folded her hands, and she then made her arm at a 90 degree angle and showed him the watch she had on it. She hit a button and a bright light flashed her face disappeared into the light creating a black sioluette fixed with red eyes. When she emerged from the light she stood standing with a skin tight body suit on. It was made of yellow fabric, it had the words Sha on her thighs and it changed her hair to black. She floated around in the air with her hands folded ready for his strike.

His opponent was a woman, and no less of a superhuman as he was, by the smell of blood about her. She intoxicated the half-Kyrptonian with the aroma of death her skin seemed to radiate and Warsman longed to see what she had seen when the murders and killings were committed.

Her face was hidden from him, but a spindly structure enveloped in swirling, spidery constructs of dark manifested from the flank of her body, producing with it a watch. A flash of red from her face, white from everything else, and she was gone - in place of the shadow, some form of killer clad in yellow; she was raven-haired, in place of that shadowous veil, and very beautiful - perhaps born among goddesses of war and death. Warsman stood at attention. Whatever it was about this one, it was nearly ecstasy to this creature called the Man O' War, and he wanted, no, desired to kill her, to have the taste of death in his mouth and the sensation of blood on his hands once more.

"Sha?" he asked, referring to the markings on her thighs, taking his attention away from the imagination his mind had become. "That's an.....interesting name." A smirk and he returned the gaze at her eyes, which glared back with ebony hate.

His smirk turned into a blatant sneer, and he knew, now, that the time for admiration had passed. There was no announcer or referee, but Luthor's monster threw the gauntlet.

Underneath his feet the concrete crumbled and broke, snapping into a crater as the half-Kryptonian disappeared, his cape moving wildly and uncontrolled behind him; and he came into view again with hands outstretched to kill in enormous fists. His eyes were crimson, bleeding not a drop but instead literally glowing red-hot from the heat inside of them. At a moment's notice, he would let loose one of his deadliest weapons. Indeed, Luthor had planned this fight well and if given combat at close range, his monster would prove the most effective.

Sha stood listening to the crowd get hype and chant and jeer at them, she looked up at the bright lights as her eyes became pure white.

She glanced over at her opponent who was looking at her, she smiled and then took a stance, and it seemed an attack was eminent.

Sha’s eyes went into motion as she sensed the movement under warsman and braced herself.

He left his position leaving the ground in shambles. His fist balled, his cape screaming behind his back, his eyes red, his determination undaunted.

Sha’s eyes never left him, her brain working overtime, her will sharper then her sword, her ruthlessness was unmatched. His fist collided with her face knocking her far across the arena into the metal barrier; Sha held her face and began to smile.

She flew high into the air and placed her hands in a “T” like position, she began smiling again, this time a silverery discharge began to flow around her and she began to rip the steel from the walls with her magnetism, she then began to fire them at warsman like rockets.

She landed back on the ground and extended her hand at him, she made an orb  or light energy and surrounded it by magnetic energy she brought her hand back and then pushed it forward this was her flash cannon attack, it was a huge beam of light energy mixed with magnetic energy, when exactly 10 feet from him the attacks would separate and cause more damage, however the light flowed in a straight line while the magnetic energy was linked to his heart, his first movement would trigger the homing feature, if he managed to elude it the attack would go to waste .

Sha once again took to the sky and began floating around already putting her next attack

At first, he was surprised that no blood seeped from her as she left him to accompany the shadows at the other end of the arena. However, he then remembered about the gamble between rivalling empires and he understood again. This woman was no human and his thoughts of a goddess in his midst returned again.

A flash of pure silver light, one that illuminated even the darkest of corners, and Warsman smirked as he learned something about his opponent with every waking moment. He formed his arms into an X-shaped guard, his muscles tensed and sturdied as stone. The sharpened stakes of steel glanced off from him, but as the last few remained skybound, he tore away at them with a swiping motion, ripping them asunder into spinters and mangled ruin.

 This was only a distraction.

Some form of light, mingled with a malleable tracking device - for it seemed to hunger for the flesh of opponents, and it closed in around Warsman - soared from Sha's hand. It was dreadfully hot even from a distance and Warsman's face became a drooping frown, depressed from such a sudden and powerful attack. However...this simple motion triggered a separation of the attack into a system of roots, made of the same material, and it came in from all sides, flank from flank, and in front as well as behind. What resulted was a column of fire and smoke that blocked out all eyes from the Man O' War, perhaps leading some to believe his demise.

 The arena fell into silence.

However, the smoke ded clear, and revealed the result of the attack: Warsman was alive, and most certainly well. Little more than a few scratches, some bleeding worse than others, and a large amount of dust was lifted as the concrete gave way to the superior power of Sha's assault. Warsman spat upon the ground, as his taste was tainted with sediment, and he spied out Sha, glaring at her.

No sooner than this had happened and his eyes flashed red, but in place of benign intervention, he allowed them to unleash the brunt of whatever heat vision a half-Kryptonian could muster directly for Sha. Indeed, the untested weapon was more effective than realized, as even if it was aimed nearly seven feet from the ground, the blast still managed to cause burn marks upon the floor all across its trajectory. Warsman smirked, for if he could not destroy Sha with this, he would have quite the intoxicating time using it against all others.

If Sha would move, he would follow with the deadly sight, grazing whatever was in the path behind her and searing it into destruction.

Sha’s attack did minimal if any damage to the Man but that wasn’t what she was going for. She knew the only time success came before work was in the dictionary and now it was time to school her roughneck competitor. She smiled as the dust began to settle, after Sha’s attack had caused it to fret. She looked back at the man who was preparing his attack, Sha’s eyes glanced to the right of her at the fans who were screaming for more action, This fight was not because the two competitors hated each other but more so because they swore favors to their respective friends.  She looked back at him turning her head 33 degrees to the left to be hit with a powerful and deadly heat blast she was knocked far back into the walls, screaming in pain. She fell to the floor and began rolling back in forth trying to shake the pain, but she knew only time would help.

Sha rolled back over to her front and then stood up, she was holding her wounds, the blast energy had tore a hole in her uniform, exposing her breast, her shoulders and her neck, Sha looked back at him with a smile on her face because she mounted herself back to a full vertical position. She once again pulled her hand up and pressed the button on her watch this time her outfit changed to her red and black (super girl) traditional outfit.  Sha began levitating in the air she then extended her hands forward, and began moving them in various patterns until a grid made of light appeared on the ground.  She then heightened gravity around her multiplying it by two she was attempting to limit his evasiveness, through the air trying to keep him grounded. What she did was create a Cartesian Coordinate system, every move he made produced a point and an ordered pair . this pair gave the quadrant and  axis in which the movement was made.

That’s not all it did when a point is triggered by any of the combatants it fired its enormous energy at whoever made the motion. The safe point of the graph is at the point (0,0) But Sha had that area on lock she was ultimately giving him two choices,  be ripped to pieces by her labyrinth, or fight her by air, which was under the effect of her gravity control, she folded her hands and smiled as she flew back and forth in the air, over the point 0,0

The Philistines cheered, the businessmen averted their gazes, and Warsman was perchance the only one within the arena who did not have a mind to either conclusion. He met eyes with Sha and she seemed immune to both admiration and criticism as she reached a hand for the watch again, pressing the exact button that had spawned her previous costume. Instead of yellow it was black, trimmed with red, and with a centerpiece that struck Warsman as a hammer to a nail. His heart skipped a beat, and several beats afterwards, for the symbol was so puzzlingly distressing, it made Luthor’s monster utterly speechless. Upon his opponent’s chest, making her heart seem like a target to him was the letter “S”, encircled by a diamond that widened near the left and right edges.

“Superman…” he whispered harshly, as if the name itself was pain.

His own version of Superman’s badge was meant to remind him that he was the ultimatum, an Ultraman instead of merely a Superman. This bolster to his self-confidence was key; but Sha had just stirred this alliance between mind and body into a deteriorating sanity and rising antagonism. Perhaps this was her stratagem.

Again, the class of lower scum within the perimeter of the arena jeered, most probable for Sha’s new costume. However, the businessmen had then returned their attention to the fight and signaled for the clash to resume. Sha already was prepared for this, and before the hint was made, she had already formed a framework of intersecting lights. Warsman, at first, felt nothing. His knees buckled, though, and he struggled to stand. Nevertheless, Luthor’s monster was adaptable and like most things, it was only a matter of time before sheer power overcame what his enemies employed against him. Sha was apparently a dozen steps ahead, for even as he reached the turning point of her attempt of lowering his evasiveness, she had launched another energy-based attack fixated with destroying her foe.

Warsman was left with little to no options and his eyes infuriated into a fog of crimson light. Twin beams of heat erupted forth again and ruptured into the heart of the grid, blasting what could have minced him into an attack that diced the concrete around him into an organized garden of carnage and debris. Only Warsman was left unscathed and he was unsure of what remained of his opponent, for he saw only his attacking rising against her before the enormous discharge.
