I've had this idea on my mind for a while so here it is.
Create a completely separate version of your or someone else's character based solely on the name. Think of it as a test of creativity based off the idea of DC's Tangent Comics.

If you think someone is touchy about you making a Tangent of their character then please be sure to ask first.

Based soley on "Laughingstock" I would see a psychopath clown. Not just Bo-Bo from the circus from the clown, but a little Jeff the killer, a little joker, and a little bit of clownage from "IT". So it makes a complete psychopath, mastermind, serial killer, clown roaming around with a huge knife running around kidnapping people then terrifying them before chopping them up with a 4 ft knife. Good thing I use this Laughingstock instead of that, or the RPG thread would get a lotta gore.

@laughingstock: Another...... What?!

As for me, "Crimson", I'd probably think of a villain. A villain obsessed with blood. Phychotic, and barbarian.

@guardian_of_gravity: @laughingstock:

I alos got that reference, but I'm a mutant. The crimson chin was bitten on the chin by a radioactiv movie star, then had his vocal cords replaced with that of Jay Leno.

Gambler; Jean Luc Cotillard

Powers: Photographic Reflexes, Kinetic Charging.

Look: Taskmaster in costume, Gambit out of costume.

Equipment: Batman style utility belt, repaired sword of the arashikage

Mini-bio: The last child of a wealthy dynasty he developed an addition to gambling. Cards, horses, sports, whatever it was to get a thrill. But eventually even that wasn't enough, and he took to gambling with his own life in underground martial arts competitions. His addiction to the rush only strengthened until one day the only thing that would sate him was the lethal world of metahumans.

@gambler: Nah uh! I said "from the shadows!" That means nobody knows! And LeBeau is just a pawn now anyway, so he's probably, like, less tough and stuff.

Decoy Elite

Powers: Duplication; basic humanoid shape shifting, a thick outer husk of himself that can be shed and left to give the illusion of death or unconciousness

Look: Chameleon

Mini-bio:

An ancient military for the country of Hyperboria's (Existing before the present race of humans) had divides branches similar to today's pentagon of American Military. One special operations squad, the Elite, were trained in infiltration and spy games. Eventually the race was nearly extinct due to inner turmoil, but the ones who did survive lived extended lifetimes spanning several centuries, their only way of maintaining knowledge of their people in the future was by teaching their ways to the new era of humans and giving them what was left of their seemingly timeless advanced Decoy technology. Over time the exclusive group given the abilities but no direction of use took to spying, assassinations, and infiltration work, Eventually they marketed themselves as the Decoy Elite.
