Rise of the Midnight Vipers

Kado

The Gargantuan Terrestrial stood firm in his crimson attire. He stood with his arms, folded scooping the underground tunnel. The sounds of drills, chainsaws, clashing metal, all were factors in construction. They were still building the underground city, for the Midnight Vipers. With the help of Man if Forever and Ruin Cross they would become instant classics. The three of them would become known as the triple threat. They were a diverse group, different form each other in so many ways. Still they managed to bond and become as one. The three of them resided in this underground facility, hidden from humanity, waiting to stalk the moon.

Kado boarded the subway train and entered the access code “284896” as the train launched. The train was faster then most moving at 650 miles per hour, only three minutes and he was at his destination. He stepped off the train as the automatic door closed, and it sped off. The light flickered, against the clean white tiled walls. The ceiling had been eighteen feet tall, so Kado could get around. He traced his fingers, across the cold tiles until he came to a door. He looked inside to see a doctor, performing surgery on an infested humanoid. It was like a city down here, all owned by the Midnight Vipers. They located in the middle of Australia, deep under its surface. Waiting just waiting.

He proceeded through the spacious passageway, glancing in each room to make sure everything was running right. He then saw one of the doctors being assaulted by an awaken creature. The doctor pulled towards the wall wit his injecting needle for protection. He then smashed on a red button, as a group of Kado’s barbarian trainees marched through the hallways. They smashed open the door and tranquilized the creature. He smiled to show them he was impressed. Continuing on his way, he passed several rooms. The gym, the lobby, the kitchen, the academy. That’s right, the academy. Only Kado’s must trusted people could enroll in the academy, they were trained to be Midnight Vipers however many of them broke to the pressure and never made it to the end of the schooling.

He came to a door, where several high-tech security guards were at each side. He entered and smiled at the projector screen across the wall. He walked in too see that MOF and Ruin were already present. Obviously because he had told them in advance of the meeting. Kado stood before the two and spoke “An out break of Lycans has spread across Australia. Our job…get up there and kill them before sun rise.” Because at that point they would transform back to humans and they would not be able to be told apart. “When the clock strikes midnight, we move out.” A dartboard was on the far left side of him, he straightened up a piece of paper on which was one of the Lycans he saw the night before. He pinned it to the dartboard, and took ten steps away. He then grabbed a large trench knife and thrust it at the board, striking the werewolf in the head. A large clock, was built n to the wall. The clock showed it to be 11:30. It was almost time for the hunt to begin.

He continued to struggle, trying to untangle himself from the thick wire. He was tied up good, and was laying face down on railroad tracks. He twist and turned over trying to break free of the cords. He could see lights approaching the tunnel and the sound of an incoming train began. As the train came closer, he awoke. Sweat fell down his face onto his cover. He breathed hard trying to get a hold of himself. He could still here a train sound. Shit! The meeting he had forgotten about it. Kado had called for a team council meeting. Ruin was never known to be late. He threw his long legs over the bed, and stood up, discarding his current clothing. He liked to make a appearance when he did things so he slipped on his tuxedo. Consisting of red pants, a black shirt, a red vest, black glasses, and a red hat.

He then began to ajar, the drawer. As he pulled it completely out. Revealing a large basket of assorted guns. His own personal arsenal. He grabbed his Remington tactical shotgun and loaded six rounds into its three inch caliber. He then grabbed two holsters, with golden desert eagles inside. He strapped them to his waist. He grabbed a shot gun round holder, sliding the bullets into the socket, as he strapped it across his shoulder. He grabbed a box of ammo for the handguns and exited the room. He strode down the corridor admiring the beauty of the facility.

He came to the kitchen area, at which there was a vending machine. He slid in a dollar, and out came a coca cola. He removed the top, and poured some down his throat to quench his thirst. The strong, wet satisfaction felt good as he moved into the room, and took his seat. He nodded to MOF as the hulking man known as Kado stepped in. “An out break of Lycans has spread across Australia. Our job…get up there and kill them before sun rise. When the clock strikes midnight, we move out.”

He verified how much time they had on his wrist watch. Only thirty minutes. He still couldn't believe how immense the man was. Before they're confrontation Man of Forever had been the largest man Ruin had seen. Now he stood before two man trusted, about t go to war with creatures of the night. He pulled a cigarette from an ash tray and re-lit it. Puffing away the smoke. Ruin wrapped his fingers round the remote, and powered on the projector tv. It was the news, a repeat from earlier. "So there you have it. These bizarre teens seem to believe that there are werewolves in Australia. Now thats funny. Im Katie Morgan here with CNN and im out." It was obvious the reporter was one who didnt believe in fantasy creatures. however that arrogance would become a down fall.

At the , a Blue Giant watches the sun hid behind the horizon. The ocean breeze blows his long white hair and his deep red cloak. As soon as the sun could no longer be seen, the corners of his mouth curl up into a smile. Darkness crawls over the land and it is time for the Midnight Vipers to control the night. With out the fierce sun, the moon could be seen clearer and the temperatures of the Land Down Under become a little more comfortable. Turning away from the blue sea the Alien turns to face a much dryer ocean. The red dirt covered the entire continent and it was the only thing between the Giant and his destination.

Kado, a member of the Triple Threat as well as fellow giant had called the squad to a meeting. It was 15 minutes before he had to be there and that was all the time he needed. The Racorian named Jaman, but more commonly known as the Man of Forever, could manipulate time itself. But coming from a more advanced planet he has more advanced items and machinery. The Glowing Warrior climbs onto his large motorcycle and revs it up. The bellowing roar of the engine could be heard for miles away. Getting comfortable, MOF sets it to cruise which is actually faster then any Earth vehicle could move.

In an instant the Balance Keeper has already driven 50 miles in about 3 seconds and the only thing he leaves behind is a huge dust cloud. It’s nothing but MOF and the open rode and he’s enjoying it. Closing in on his base, Jaman starts to slow down to 60 miles per hour. To anyone else it would seam like he was in the middle of nowhere and dirt was the only thing for miles. But suddenly the sand starts to separate and a trapdoor opens up in the ground. The motorbike carries the warrior into the underground base of the Midnight Vipers.

Getting off his bike he leaves it in the garage. Walking through the halls, MOF notices he isn’t the only one there but out of the three powerhouses he had to wait for the others to arrive. The meeting room is where he was headed and that’s where he set patiently. Then the man named Ruin Cross walks in and nods at him, he replies with a small smile. Not long after the room seamed to shake, but anyone who had been at the facility before knew it was only Kado coming. The three set in their seats at the table and the meeting quickly started.

“An out break of Lycans has spread across . Our job…get up there and kill them before sun rise…” It sound simple enough, right? Wrong. Lycans, another word for sophisticated werewolves, where out tonight and blood was the only thing on their minds. Thinking about it again, MOF realized it was a full moon and that puts the wolf-men at their strongest. “When the clock strikes midnight, we move out.” Looking over to the clock the team had about 30 minutes before their mission was to start. More then enough time.

Ding. A loud alarm went off sounding midnight. He turned to the other two and spoke "That’s our cue!" Kado said while removing two small axes from the wall. He flipped them both around, while trying to determine what skill he had with them. He never used guns, he always said they were "Just too damn sloppy, for him." However he did not hold it against his team mates for using firearms, they might of been able to use them and make it look good. For him though, dual axes and two axes did the job. Dismembering his opponent in various ways. Knowing he others would, follow he commenced into the corridor. He turned to the plain tiled wall, and rubbed his hand across the white paint and mumbling a few words. As he finished, the wall turned its self, revealing an elevator. He stepped on alone, for he was two large for the other two to manage. Thirty seconds later he was at the earth's surface.

For a moment he examined the beautiful essence of the moon, as it illuminates the dark area. Hearing Kado and MOF arrive he proceed forward. Only coming to pause, when he heard a wolf's howl. They traveled through the hyper thermal desert, and halting at a small hill. Glancing over, he watched the wolves feed on their prey. Without thinking twice, Kado made a half a mile leap near the creatures causing a minor quake of the earth. Behind him the emerged from caves as the ones who had been feeding had approached him. They didn’t see him as a threat, they only saw him as larger meal. He could feel the presence of his Viper brothers around him as faint words slid from his lips “Give them hell!”

As he did so, the shaggy creatures began to move at an eye shocking speed. One gripped its mouth onto Kado’s shoulder, but he had been occupied with the one in front of him. The creature dashed from side to side attempting to confuse Kado, but it didn’t work. He spun forward swinging the one on his shoulder into the one before him. He thrust his axe, slicing away the creature’s arm with a clean cut. He glanced to his arm, and realized that his impenetrable skin ceased the creature’s teeth from entering. The next one attempted to go for his skull, but he stood firm and released a large yell. A sonic boom, or what he called the lion’s roar. It’s force had been so strong it not only pushed the creatures back through the air, but it also affected the others while they gripped their ears in torment.

He kneeled down, lodging the dual axes into the sand. Deciding on crushing a few his bear hands. He trekked towards the more mass group of gruesome creatures. He took the initiative, and rapped his hands around the arm of the invertebrate and hurling it into the others. He then grabbed another by the chest smashing across his leg as cried in pain. He reached pulling one that feared him, and literally ripped its jaw apart. He began o move backwards as they began to grow in numbers, he stood between both axes with the extra terrestrial beings closing in on him. The two closes one jumped at him from each side, still he didn’t flinch instead he lifted his lard foot and stomped as the axes flew into the air decapitating both of the creatures. He twisted and gripped both of their rod, before they spiked the ground. “Shall it be known! We own the night!!!!!” He yelled listening to the yelps of the werewolves.

After preparing themselves for the up coming mission, the bell rings. Time for battle. The others grab their weapons but the Blue Giant doesn’t. He is always suited up, always armed, and definitely always dangerous. The Corrupt Goliath was the first to move. The Dragon Emperor and the Man of Forever instinctively fallow. Reaching the end of the hall, the wall itself spins showing an elevator to the world above. Kado enters the first, and then Ruin Cross and Jaman enter the next one.  

“Looks like this will be like old times.” Ruin says. “Indeed it will.” The Alien replies. They were referring to their short time with the Regulators but to the Racorian it seamed like he knew Cross for much longer. Soon they reached the top and their teammate is anxious for the fight. “Give them hell!” the Berserker Giant yelled as he ran onto the new battle field. Standing back, MOF watches how his fellow Vipers move into battle to figure out how he will approach the task.

Ruin sent steady shots into the wolf-men, while Kado attacked with barbaric skill. The glowing man decides to take a different style apart from both of them, and do what he’s best at. Grabbing his sword’s handle he releases its disintegrating blade. Jerking his opposite arm, his indestructible shield is projected from his gauntlet. He walks slowly to where a group of lycons were. The werewolves being overly aggressive charge at the warrior, which is precisely what he wanted.

One beast leaps at him, but is easily deflected by a smack from MOF’s laser shield. Another runs at him then the Blue Alien swings his sword and the monster is severed in half. The blood sprays before the pieces of flesh hit the ground. Jaman was fighting defensively and simply waiting for openings. Looking over he sees the other Rulers of the Night and witnesses how easily they annihilate the threat. The Balance Keeper smirks and refocuses on the dogs in front of him.

A jaw shattering could be heard as the Man of Forever thrusts his armored boot at a mussel of a werewolf. But that noise is nothing compared to Kado’s “Lion’s Roar” and the gunshots from Ruin’s weapons. The Midnight Vipers are making little work of the fur covered abominations.

The Genuine powerhouse left nothing but trail of blood. Showing no mercy for the vile creatures. He reached out gripping the mouth of the mutt, tossing him around as a living weapon. In the corner of his eye, something had caught his attention. He dropped the beaten flea-bag and focused on the hole that seemed to open in space. A large crimson creature plunged out and onto the ground. Still not matching the size of himself, yet its arm seemed quite immense. Like a train, Kado tackled through the Lycans as they were hurled into the air like paper. He and the ruby colored man stood only twenty feet apart from each other. From its head stuck out large red horns, so vibrant it was if they were alive. Could it have the devil, Mephisto in the flesh. It was fairly doubted, this man was too modern. He carried a firearm, customized for his large right arm. 

Like it was surrounded by cement block. The man a walking massacre, beating the flesh out of the creatures as they attempted to scurry away. Leaving the scene of the combat, the man approached Kado, standing about for feet smaller. His chest was revealed showing his sheer body muscle. He glanced up in Kado’s eyes showing little fear then trying to drift away. Kado took a step in the same direction blocking the demon’s way. “Listen up, just like big bad wolf I will blow this house down.”  The Barbarian Colossus smiled at the man’s attempt of intimidation. It actually was not the first time Kado was referred to as a ‘house’. “Humorous threats, well only leave you in an inescapable quarrel.” In arrogance, Kado launched his fist at the scarlet fiend. At the same time so did, the demon. The two large fist crashed, sending Kado airborne. As Kado, collided with the earth’s surface a large crater of his body formed. He stood up dusting away the excess dirt. As the man was red man proceeded towards him. “They call big red. And well I hunt monsters. Well…you seem to fit that description.

He was almost actually scared. There were three power houses around Kado, MOF, and this weird ass demon dude. Just a little he could see the red man, behind Kado. With the quick wink of an eye. Kado's body became transparent as he drifted through the rocky ground. He could see that the man known as Big Red was a bit confused about what had just occurred. He tried to draw his handguns, but he was too slow. The devil like humanoid had fired off six rounds at the Dragon Emperor. Ruin entered a cart roll as the bullets sped by. One nicked  by his ear, causing a painful ring to enter his dome. He feel straight back onto the ground, as the send flew high. With his earth manipulation he rolled over, while a blanket of sand wrapped around him.

He then swiped his hand at the dusty air, sending a strong wind at the red maestro. Knocking him onto one knee. "I don't care who you are. Or what you do. Your on our turf now. Once the sun rises take the world if you shall. But if you interfere our nightly hunt, then i shall send you back...to hell." Ruin quickly reverted to a standing position and donned a battle stance. The sand feel down at his side and then rose once more in front of him. It began to shape it self, into the shape of spikes. A small tusk of fire drifted from his every finger, binding with the sand creating crystal points. He then thrust both arms, forward. The hell-look alike handled the situation as if he had been in it many times before. With utter agility, he simply swung his arm back and force shattering the crystals.

Ruin stomped hard on the sand as two crystal warrior arose and slowly drifted towards the foe. He had lost sight of the rest because his hand was being severed by werewolf. How could he have forgotten, now he had two issue to be dealt with. He set his ablaze with fire, quickly turning the wolf's head into ash blown away into the sun. He looked back to see crystal shards drifting down and the enemy just smiled. As if it was all in a day work. Well this is the night and as Midnight Viper quote says...we own the night. Ruin backed up and slowly began to fall into the sand. Not as Kado did but as if he was falling in quicksand. He released a wicked laugh, when he was sure the rest expected panic. Moments later his body could not be seen buried alive into the sand he was.

An enormous fifty foot head emerged from the sand, with two fifteen foot arms. At the tip of the cranium(head) Ruin could be seen arms and legs spread, like a gem powering this sand beast. And began to slide towards the red monster. The unknown entity fled the area, attempting to escape. The sand giant swept him up and tossed him into Ruin's original location where MOF also was. Ruin prepared the final strike but he had used to much energy. The sand giant collapsed and Ruin feel to the ground, his head being the only thing not covered by sand. He coughed up accumulations of sand, before extending out a thumbs up at MOF and then moving it by his neck. Giving MOF the signal to kill the beast!!

The war against the werewolves carries on, but it seams the creatures are backing down. Ether they realized they couldn’t beat the Triple Threat or there was something worse. Something more diabolical even compared to themselves. Suddenly MOF’s aura flickers acting as a sixth sense. The scale of power has been changed once again, but by the purity of Hell’s flames. Jaman turns around to see a scarlet man with bull horns and one large arm. Just his presence alters the balance. He must be taken out of the equation or the night might become covered with a new kind of darkness.

Kado was the first to encounter “Big Red” and after a few exchanges of words, the two move into battle. The collision of their fist sent the Barbarian flying and created a shockwave that could be felt by MOF. Soon all those team session were coming into play. Ruin somehow phased his way over to the red giant. Sand converted to glass then shattered. But something even more amazing happened. It seamed that Cross had drowned in the sand but the truth was he was manipulating it.

An enormous figure was born from the sand. The creature from Hell ran for his life, but he couldn’t outrun the winds that the Dragon Emperor was creating. As the demon man is thrown in the air the sand man decomposes. Looking over at his teammate, MOF can see RC give the signal. The signal to finish the dimensional intruder. The Glowing Man smiles and readies himself.

The ruby skinned being was falling directly in the Balance Keeper’s direction. The Blue Giant slightly twists to the side and steadies his shield. Patience my be the Alien’s best virtue because he wont strike until the moment is perfect. Without warning MOF spins launching his shield at blinding speeds. Using his probability manipulation to make sure the laser shield smashes into his face. It does and the force knocks the hell boy backwards higher into the sky.

Squeezing the handle of his disintegrating sword, the Man of Forever uses his matter manipulation to thrust a pillar of dirt under him. With his weight lowered he rockets up to the same altitude of the earthly devil. Looking into the creatures yellow eyes for a split second, MOF strangely has no compassion. The Midnight Vipers rule the night and will kill to keep it that way. With a golf swing he cuts the upper body of the demon from its lower.

Increasing his weight the Laidback Viper lands on the dusty ground quick and hard. His armored boots leave huge prints in the ground. Then the black blood of the monster falls to the ground like ran, soon after the two halves of the body hit the ground with a thud. The deed is done. MOF looks up as the howls of the lycans grow loud once again.

The night was still young, shimmering its vibrant light onto the combatants. The Monumental Mammoth witnessed a new scene of supremacy. Not only from the unidentified humanoid, but as well as his own comrades. His first sight was to Ruin. The Dragon Emperor had manipulated sand in a way never accomplished before. He had first, began to sink into the rocky substance, while making a unified bond with it. Then sand giant emerged, bringing panic into even the eyes of the demonic brute. However, ruin had little time to exercise this performance. Therefore he was exhausting himself without even knowing it. After a swift toss of “Big Red” Ruin’s sand lord crumbled back to its rightful place. And now the hell’s lad would have to deal with the balance keeper. His ability of disintegration was undisputed. With little effort, in mid air, he impaled the war bringer sight through the chest then returned. Soon the severed corpse falls to the ground. In two.

The titan emerged from the ground, forming an immense crater. At high altitude, he begins to plunge onto earth’s surface. On one knee, his menacing eyes looked up and scowled at the wolves as he released a ominous growl to strike fear into their spirits and showing his primal ways. He then ascended to standing form and approached Man of Forever. “A great act you have done. You are truly a midnight viper. Unfortunately, that creature will return. Those born in hellfire can travel dimensions wit immortality. In saying that since we killed him here he will reborn at his original dimension. “ Kado inhaled and exhaled from a night of great feat. “So I guess we our fi…” He was cut off by the sound of the radio at his waist. “Light house guard to National Security! Do you copy?” At this time of night they were national security. Kado pulled the radio to his mouth “Copy that.” “There has been a security breach, something has flipped over the titanic prototype. There are hundreds of people trying to flee…this…this creature.” It wasn’t like the Midnight Vipers to go somewhere where they publicly viewed, but this sound like a challenge. “I’ll be right back.”

 30 minutes later

He swung the pool of sand form over his body, just enough to stand up. As he did so Kado was returning from a short leave. This time though his figure was much more threatening, due to his looming ball and chain. Smashing furiously through the atmosphere. They traveled for quite some time until reaching the coastal areas. A giant sea monster ravaged through the water, with hundreds of people attempting to swim to shore. Kado moved out initially, engaging in combat with terrifying creature. Next to go was Ruin, he leapt into the air as his body twisted in a spiral sequence. As his body submerged into the water, a small tsunami was formed and Ruin used it to accelerate the swimmers to safety.

However one of the females were fighting back the tide. She was yelling something, but he wasn’t close enough to make it out. He swam closely as he could finally hear her “My baby. May baby is drowning!” Ruin’s head focused down into the water as he made a slight tip in. He swam hard and fast towards the rising oxygen bubbles. He finally reached the baby, who was surrounded by a frenzy of shark. Ruin’s ability to speak with beast is only possible when they are not in sight of prey. With his powerful mind, Ruin shot a telepathic wave into their heads. Causing them to attack each other. Waiting for the right moment he dashed towards the baby, swiping it with one arm. The sharks had got their heads straight by then.

“A great act you have done. You are truly a Midnight Viper. Unfortunately, that creature will return. Those born in hellfire can travel dimensions wit immortality. In saying that since we killed him here he will reborn at his original dimension.” The Gigantic Barbarian said to MOF. “No doubt about that.” The Blue Giant replies. That instant Kado’s communicator starts to ring. Another mission. There is no rest for a Balance Keeper and certainly none for a Midnight Viper. In half an hour they where at their new destination. The beach was a chaotic scene. The families run for their lives after seeing the huge beast. Jaman sighs as he realizes what needs to be done. But before he could take another breath, Kado is already on the scene. Converting the water into ice so he could ride it, he attacks the creature and causing the water level to rise simultaneously. Right behind him, Ruin literally dives into action. He heads straight towards the civilians. Saving them won’t be easy with all the dangers the sea has in store.

The Man of Forever takes his time walking on the sandy shores. A large wave crashes its way toward the shores. With a single motion of his hand, MOF transforms the water to gas or causing it to evaporate in a moment’s notice. Looking into the water the Alien can see red spilling into the blue. But fortunately it’s the blood of the sharks and not the humans or any of the Triple Threat. For a second the Soul Reaper is confused of which task he should take. He didn’t have to really worry about the citizens, sense many of them were already out of harm's way. He also saw that the Boogeyman was efficiently dealing with the fish problem, and the last thing Jaman wanted was to interfere and sabotage the mission. Crossing his arms, he decides to wait for ether an opening or a call from one of his teammates.

Struggling to keep his balance because of his immense size, Kado plunged onto the back of the vast creature. Digging his fingers into the unnaturally cold ice. The pikes of the ball and chain were still impaled deeply into the rough hard surface of the fiend. Kado extended his hand forward trying to get a handle on the dangling chain but he had no leverage. He was thrown around as the creature swam though through the navy waters. It’s method of swimming made a bit of a whirl pulling in the innocent civilians.

He could see that Ruin was occupied with rescuing the drowning mortals. He decided to take more initiative, and let go hoping that he would be fast enough to get a grapple onto the chain. As he released himself from the water demon, his weight against gravity pulled him quicker than ever on the slippery ice. He waited for the perfect moment and then BOOM! He shifted his weight to his left side and rolled on top of chain, grabbing hold with it as tight as he could, sliding his large finger through its links. He used it to pull himself up finally getting to the ball, with the rest of the chain wrapped around his fist, he pulled it out and while attempting to keep his balance he smashed it into the creature several more times. He could see that piece by piece the creature was being severed apart. He planned on dismantling it accordingly. He decided it was time to go for the source. With a controlled slide on the ice, he slid to one of the four fins.

Just as the body it was composed of ice, but it wasn’t as strong. For before he could strike, his weight resulted in the raptures body leaning to one side too much. This caused the both to plunge into the water. Right before his body completely sunk down he yelled to his comrade Man of Forever, “When all of the humans are clear of danger, I need you to send an electrical current in the water. NO matter what the risk” His meaning by that last line, was that the Viper’s knew that Kado’s major weakness was Electricity. However, what ever needed to be done would be done. The creature began to swim deep to the seafloor, Causing Kado’s body muscles to tighten due to his weakness of cold temperatures. He released the creature, as he felt completely numb. The creature then swam towards the surface the only hope was that Ruin retrieved all of civilians in time for MOF to electrocute the water. Kado on the other  hand would be body shocked so bad by the electrical forces his body will be elevated out of the water and onto land.

Time was now against the three known as the Triple Thread. Ruin had to somehow speed up this process or...well.....these civilians were dead. Kado had instructed for the unoccupied oversize smurf, to send a powerful electrical shock into the sea. Still...they all knew that was Kado's major weakness. If The dragon Emperor hadn't been required to perform such a feat early of the sand lord, he would be strong enough to overcome the power of the waters. But current, his body was exhausted. He was probably swimming as fast as an average human. The only thing that saved him were his strong gusts of winds forcing the humans onto land. This wasn't working it was taking too much time ad effort. If he could just pull through for the team this one time it would be worth it.

Then he finally came up with solution. The only thing that he knew that didn't tire out....his enhanced strength. He sped to shore, and picked up two large chains, the then thrust them into the water. "All civilians grab hold of the chain!" They all began to grab on and once every seemed secure. He backed up and began pulling them much faster than they were swimming. Only a couple minutes later, he was aware that he had manage to rescue each and everyone one of them. He watched as the families banded to together and hugged in relief of the end of the crisis, but he knew damn well it wasn't the end. It wouldn't be the end till Kado, was safe again. Grabbing the telephone wire he snaps it in half. The ends of the cords spark wildly as the current has nothing to feed into.

Running back and making sure he didn’t shock anything, he notices Cross has gotten all the civilians to safety. His boots carry him to the edge of the water and when the only thing he can see is the gigantic fish creature, Jaman doesn’t waste another second. Thrusting both ends of the cords into the water he swears he could see the electricity traveling through the water. Rushing toward the surface the wounded beast didn’t realize it was going to collide with its doom.

The yell of the foul animal was loud and unbearable. The worst part is that MOF knew Kado was probably yelling as well. The monster shook uncontrollably but the Alien can’t afford to retrieve the cords until it is dead. Then a pair of metal hand collides with the beast doubling the conductive affects. A few seconds later the fish stopped struggling and his body lies on the surface of the water. The Man of Forever pulls the wires out of the water then jumps in himself. He swims as fast he can after his fellow Midnight Viper.
