How often do you retcon your characters? I get passionate about different topics. I'll geek out on Green Lanterns for a couple months and everything I do relates to GL. Then I'll geek out on Pirates or Iron Man.

I'm kind of transitioning between a Green Lantern and a Star Wars phase. So Gamma just got the retcon hammer and she's a Jedi Lantern..... yeeeeaaaaaahhhhh

Anytime I get screwed and get killed I do a retcon so I don't, but that never happened in an RP, just when screwing around.

Oh, but now I have Mr_Mold so any time someone dies or does something that I don't want to have happen. I just Oh it was a Mr. Mold clone :P

Hmm yeah, I've been known to do this <_<
Randomly appointed 'magical guardian of Earth' --> Time traveling magical guardian with an animal spirit companion --> Half-Xantroan time traveler with elemental powers absorbed from 5 talismans scattered through time (or something like that; and no animal spirit companion), wielding a morphing freezing blade (no explanation given for that) --> Time traveling half-Xantroan that gained his (classic) powers in Ancient Egypt through a Xantroan Rite of Passage (where a semi-corporeal animal spirit companion happened to be part of the deal); while wielding a morphing freezing blade that turned out to be one of 13 artifacts each corresponding to an Azurian (Xantroan) god, this one corresponding to the god of death.

Haven't really retconned anything. LS's origin is still the same, everything he's done is still as it was when it happened. There's about two years between turning good and first showing up in the CV RPG canon that I'd like to explore later on, but I don't think it'll lead to any retcons.

Thunderbolt was originally just a rich billionaire that fought crime for no real reason ------> Became a father due to a one night stand with an allusive woman called Cassandra. He died so she could insure her son's position as the next head of Zeraz Industries. Jonathan Rafael Zeraz is dead or so you think! Sudden twist indeed........but if I play upon that idea that would be yet another retcon. My character's have become a mythos in my own brain as I try to push them forward in this dying rpg section lmao

Closure was suppose to be a young man chosen by the Thunder Legacy, in order to become the greatest warrior in all of the world -----> Became son of Thunderbolt and Cassandra Adams. Heir to a secret criminal organization, known as the Future Conquerors, that has existed for decades. Couldn't handle the duties of murder and was involuntarily manipulated by his mother into taking the position is father once held. He's the Son of Thunder but the Thunder Legacy may be played with once again. Noah has a connection to a higher force that I have yet to explore.

Clara Mass was initially suppose to be the love interest of Closure. Meant to be a blond bubble brained girl that was full of innocence and admiration for the young hero ----> Became the aunt of Closure and youngest sister to Thunderbolt. She now has violet eyes and red hair. Granddaughter of Queen Hera of Olympus, and daughter to the bastard demigod known as Cinna. Due to her father's connections to the dark arts, she became a demigoddess with a connection to the demonic realm of hell. When near death, her gorgeous body transforms into a horrific nightmare. She is Clara Mass, the redheaded mystery, capable of destroying the planet she walks upon with reality-warping powers that have yet to be categorized.

Don't think i've ever retconned a character.. changed the direction he was going a lot, but never fully retconned. Not that i can remember anyway.

I kill off one Fox and swap him out for another (they are machines after all, though the current one has evolved into a living, breathing, feeling android). Wait...that's not retconning...um, let me get back to you all on that.

I don't retcon very often, but when I do it changes the characters pretty drastically.

Portrait's entire powerset was retconned in her first appearance.

Counterfeit, Klein, and Daedalus were all retconned into continuity.

Mortality's whole self was retconned in Mortality: Rebirth

I play with character ages/heights/weights ALL THE TIME

Ethereal Murk used to be a random villain instead of a nihilistic neutral

Salamander was not found by the government originally. He was not an anarchist.

Cypher-D used to be a robot. Now she's a detective.

Conductors I and II have been retconned, but I haven't updated them to show that yet.

Fractal used to have dimensional powers varying on the phase of the moon and no tragic past.

I think those are the main ones...

yeah, pretty much, but it might just be a regular citizen. Course I doubt you really care either way.
