Inside the walls of Reisho
Situated atop an undisclosed snowy mountain region in the vast wilderness of Japan, the fabled Reisho Monastery serves as the colossal home for the legendary Keijijo Clan. With countless fabricated myths coupled with its undocumented history, the elusive monastery complex's location remains an unsolved mystery to a bulk of the world's population, very few possessing factual knowledge regarding its relentlessly sought location. Constructed in a cold, hazardous environment, the large monastery complex is a result of brilliant mystically-enhanced architecture for its apparent untouched resistance to its extreme environment. Harboring no reliance on supernatural properties to conceal itself from the ordinary human eye, its secretive and hazardous location naturally render it a difficult place to reach. The surrounding mountain region serving as a mysterious nexus of metaphysical energy, the indigenous fauna are often odd metaphysical manifestations, resulting in a wealth of mythical and unnatural creatures and animals in addition to the more ordinarily found animals. As a result of its extreme temperature, hazardous environment and animalistic oddities, an immeasurable percentage of individuals have perished attempting to locate the fabled Reisho Monastery.

Outskirts of Reisho (The Mountain Region)

Unwelcoming Environment

Outside the ominous walls of the architecturally brilliant monastery complex, lies a hazardous, unwelcoming environment. Unbearably cold and pelted by relentless snow, its freezing temperatures render it a highly dangerous environment of any ordinary human, even certain superhumans. While immensely cold and harsh, the environment is a widespread nexus of great metaphysical concentration, involuntarily leading to the birth of countless dangerous metaphysical manifestations in the form of unnatural mythical creatures, and more prominently, a variety of youkai that have uniquely adapted to the rigorous nature of the hazardous mountains. While the deadly creatures and unforgiving environment of the mountains may present itself as the primary danger of the undisclosed mountain range, its greatest danger is only experienced during the night. Historically, countless clansmen have warned outsiders against visiting the hazardous mountains in hopes of being shown hospitality in the monastery, due to the seclusion of the Keijijo, as well as the fatal dangers encountered at night in the Reisho Mountains.

A youkai

Perhaps the greatest danger comes in the form of the accumulating metaphysical pressure during the night. Being a rather vast area with several different points of spiritual concentration, the excess metaphysical energy from the concealed ethereal rifts and gateways in the mountains is released during the night as overwhelming metaphysical pressure of ruthless effects. Capable of physically and spiritually crushing even the average Keijijo clansman who is well versed in all things spiritual, the metaphysical pressure is almost instantaneously fatal to ordinary humans during the night. The ambient pressure internally crushes an individual's organs, skeleton, blood vessels, and ultimately, the entire physical body prior to crushing every single chakra-point out of existence, effectively eradicating not only the body, but the victim's life-force. Only the Keijijo Elite and above possess the necessary spiritual and physical fortitude to survive in such an intense environment. Additionally, the released pressure during the night enhances the capabilities of the indigenous youkai with dramatic change, rendering them even more dangerous than during the day. While metaphysical pressure during the day is obviously existent, it is minuscule and hardly detected. The freezing cold also increases exponentially during nighttime. Aside from its countless dangers, the Reisho Mountain Region is a very vast area with scarce natural resources, save for some high-altitude agriculture. Due to its spacious vastness, for those unfamiliar with it, it is effortlessly easy for one to find themselves lost after roaming the area. Lost and weakened and travelers often die from the combined effects of hunger, thirst, and cold before suffering the effects of the metaphysical pressure during the night. Due to the randomly located ethereal rifts and spiritual gateways, clueless travelers may accidentally wander into them, and be sent to higher metaphysical planes of existence of such concentrated spiritual pressure that their eradication is virtually instant. The indigenous youkai come in a variety of different groups. Many are beast-like and violent with monstrous forms, others come in more demonic forms, others possess human intellect and may even take the form of humans to misguide travelers, while others are far more eerie, and disturbing.

Other dangers faced are less prominent. During the day, continued exposure to the ambient minuscule metaphysical pressure to those without a resistance to its ethereal properties, impair the mental chakra-points of an individual. Often, lost travelers during the day suffer the effects of prolonged exposure to the minuscule metaphysical pressure prior to being affected by the blistering cold or attacked by the roaming youkai. The ambient metaphysical pressure gradually disrupts the flow of chi in a person's mental chakra-points, causing great sensory confusion which can cause a variety of effects ranging from paranoia, to suffering usually horrifying hallucinations and illusions. As the day edges closer to nighttime, these effects grow stronger. The commencement of these effects occurs after roughly two hours of exposure in the Reisho Mountains. This however, only affects ordinary humans, and most strong-willed individuals effortlessly resist this. Additionally, the environment of the mountains render liquid water difficult to locate. Often, the sources of water are frozen. However, certain areas do have unfrozen water. The flora in the mountains is starkly different from those found around the world, they are scarce and very well adapted to the rigorous conditions of their environment. In areas of lower altitude, ordinary animals can be seen roaming, however, as the altitude increases, they become nonexistent, and only youkai are seen.

Important Areas

The Hierarchy Quarters

Despite the extreme cold and snow encountered in the outskirts of the Reisho Monastery, as a result of various metaphysical enchantments via Keijijo Geijutsu symbols, past the monastery's ominous gates lie a warmer, more welcoming environment of tranquil weather. Being a vast location, a variety of areas in the Reisho Monastery hold great importance to the Keijijo clansmen. They are as follows:

  1. Daimyo Temples: A variety of different architecturally brilliant temples have been religiously erected for the sole purpose of paying respects to the ancient Seven Daimyo, the supposed progenitors of the Keijijo Clan. With specific temples built for of each Daimyo, they are often zones of great spiritual and metaphysical concentration due to their undeniable spiritual link with the spirits of the Seven Daimyo.
  2. Sanmittei Temples: Temples dedicated to spiritually paying one's respects to the Keijijo Sanmittei for developing Keijijogaku into what it is today, the Sanmittei temples are used for meditative sessions of spiritual significance, similar to prayers, these meditative sessions are designed to aid visitors in harmonizing with universal chi and establishing a more intimate relationship with the non-sentient metaphysical force.
  3. Keijijogaku Elder Temples: Religious infrastructures where Keijijo clansmen of all ages are taught the origins, fundamentals, and all things pertaining to the Keijijogaku religious philosophy. Headed by the Keijijo Elders, these temples are the most frequented as clansmen go there to seek spiritual guidance from the Elders who serve as the clan's theocratic leaders. Using the Book of Keijijogaku which is fabled to have been written by the Keijijo Sanmittei, the Elders teach and spiritually enlighten the Keijijo.
  4. Keijijo Elite School: This infrastructural construct provides higher education and training as opposed to the Sanmittei Temples. Often, one is required to have completed Sanmittei Temple education, in addition to their training in order to enter the Keijijo Elite School. A prestigious institution designed to nurture those who have succeeded the initial phase of 'Keijijo preparation', the apparent 'geniuses' who have both exceeded the expectations and limits of those placed in the Sanmittei Temples are immediately transferred into this institution. Often, those who become Imperos go through Keijijo Elite School education at the age of four as a result of noted prodigious talent. However, when one is deemed a unique prodigy of peerless genius, they are often placed under the direct teaching and training of the Keijijo Elders.
  5. Training Grounds: A large area reserved solely for training in the clan's sacred arts and techniques, it is populated by a variety of different infrastructure that serve as dojos for specific techniques and martial arts. These are often zones of great metaphysical concentration that aid practitioners in excelling through their chosen combat disciplines. Several hospitable buildings are also located in the Training Grounds, serving as temporary quarters for visitors.
  6. The Hierarchy Quarters: A rather large building that serves as the quarters for both the Elders and the Impero. The greatest zone of spiritual and metaphysical concentration in the entire monastery complex, it is situated in a secluded portion of the monastery's residential area where most homes have been established. It contains an incomparable collection of texts, books, and scrolls in a spacious library teeming with knowledge and information of world history and more secretively, the forbidden Keijijo techniques. It is where the Keijijo Geijutsu Urn used to contain the remnants of the Zenku is located, and is the location of the clan's most treasured and important items.
  7. The Kami no Ken Dome: The largest structure in the entire monastery, it is a colossal indoors arena that is used for the ceremonial Kami no Ken tournament, the victor being crowned the Impero (Grandmaster). Constructed from very durable, chi-enhanced material, it has been symbolically decorated with countless Keijijo Geijutsu engravings and symbols for a variety of combat-oriented purposes such as the altering of the arena's environment for certain battles.

While there are tasked groups and individuals who defend the Reisho Monastery and act as its protectors, Reisho is shielded from the common man due to a circumstantial combination of its highly elusive location, extremely hazardous environment, and the dangerous mythical metaphysical manifestations of the region. To shield it against approaching threats or potential intruders without having to sacrifice any of the clansmen in battle, a virtually impenetrable barrier of spiritual essence is erected by the clan's most powerful Eikyo users who rely on their peerless mental chakras to further augment the barrier's strength. Additionally, the Kaisupon (possessing a large degree of Ishin's spiritual DNA) can be used to dramatically reinforce the barrier should it ever be weakened by attempted disruption of its metaphysical particles. The following are those who are tasked with defending the clan and maintaining internal balance when threatened, they are effectively the law enforcement of the Keijijo Clan:

The Keijijo Elders:

The Elders
A group of highly respected theocratic individuals in the clan with several leadership duties, the elders are usually individuals of perfect spiritual enlightenment and relevant wisdom. Usually composed of the very elite masters of the clan, the elders combined are famed for being a unit powerful enough to defeat even the Keijijo Impero. While not every elder is a master or even a martial artist, they are all undeniable experts and philosophers of various spiritual concepts. They are known to possess a vast knowledge of chi, chakras, and several other metaphysical concepts that present some form of relevance to the Keijijo Clan. They are tasked with resolving social disputes in the clan, as well as maintaining order and the clan's cultural heritage. They are also responsible for the erection of temples for the worship of the legendary Seven Daimyo. Usually very old, the Keijijo Elders always predate the current Impero. Their wisdom is to be offered to the Impero for aid in certain situations as well. They share the responsibility of making important social decisions that are finalized by the Impero and vice versa. However, the elders do not possess the power necessary to exile any individual from the clan, though they can strip an Impero of the title and reduce them to an ordinary clansman. Their lower duties include offering spiritual guidance to troubled clansmen who are unable to meet with the Impero. During rare times, when a prodigious child in the clan is identified as an authentic genius of immense, possibly Impero-level potential, the elders are tasked with replacing the child's teachers with a selected group of elders in order to properly nurture potential talent. The elders are also the ones responsible for the Keijijo Tatoo that identifies every member of the clan. Past elders are also responsible for the creation of the Impero Mask. Mysteriously, a few of the current elders are known to have been with Shinma when the past Impero investigated the ominous occurrences in the clan said to have been caused by Oni. They possess a portion of information regarding the event that they have sworn not to reveal to anyone, including any Imperos after Shinma's time, stating that it will disrupt the era of peace and stability. Additionally, the Keijijo Elders are tasked with promoting any elite member of the clan to the rank of 'Elder' when they feel a replacement is needed.

The Keijijo Clan Elite:

The Keijijo Elite
A squad of elite martial artists belonging to the Keijijo Clan, they are powerful masters of the clan's techniques and combat arts and act as the enforcers of the clan's various rules. Aside from maintaining social peace, their other priority is to accompany the Keijijo Impero into war and other perilous situations. The Keijijo Clan Elite are greatly respected for their incredible combat prowess, and should some of them vastly exceed expectations, they may be promoted to Keijijo Clan Elders. The leader of the Keijijo Clan Elite is commonly referred to as the "Sosu (Prime)". Other than beig the Keijijo Elite's leader, the Sosu's authority is identical to that of the rest of the Keijijo Elite. Additionally, the Keijijo Clan Elite function as the teachers for the younger clansmen and even select several pupils to accompany them during missions to instill practical experience in the students. Clansmen who are not made Keijijo Elite usually remain common clansmen with passable amounts of skills in the clan's esoteric fighting styles and techniques. Functioning as not only the enforcers in the clan, they are tasked with being the clan's military force during times of war. With a large number of individuals having managed to become elites, their numbers are vast. The Keijijo Clan Elite are usually split into two colossal groups. One group remains with the primary duty of acting as the clan's enforcement while the second group acts as teachers for young students as all children are to learn the basic skills of their clan. Under this second group of the Keijijo Elite called "Keijijo Michibiku", various under eighteen tournaments are arranged to properly test the skills of the students and depending on how they perform, they can progress and become Keijijo Elites themselves.

The Kaisupon
Translated to "Chi Spawn", these unique creatures are among Ishin's more esoteric creations. The enigmatic Impero first created them by examining the principles of the creation of chi-clones. Using a similar technique, Ishin creates various chi-clones, however, maintains their form by creating them in locations of metaphysical concentration. Altering their form and composition through extensive experimentation with the Yoso Sphere (another invention of his) to turn them into shadowy entities via the darkness element, Ishin then grants them sentience by imbuing them with artificial souls that he created using the life-giving properties of chi/life-force to create incomplete souls. Gifted with enough sentience, the Kaisupon are intelligent creatures (slightly more intelligent than ordinary humans) that are flawlessly obedient to Ishin due to being composed partly from his own chi, imbuing them with a natural tendency to obey him without question. Fully capable of speech, their loyalty to their creator is limitless. The Kaisupon can be further controlled by Ishin by using Chakra-Potaru to transfer chi-receiving senbon into their odd chakra-points, enabling Ishin to control them via the power of his chi in their person. Eerie in appearance, the Kaisupon are not malevolent nor do they harbor any ill intent. Their purpose is to protect and serve the Keijijo and Ishin. Because they are partly imbued with Ishin's chi and chi-receiving senbon, their memories and experiences are shared with Ishin's mind as well, allowing him to see and experience what they do. They are fiercely loyal to the clan and possess a natural empathetic care for it and their creator. Spawned from the elusive element of darkness, the Kaisupon are capable of merging with shadows and the darkness to increase their relatively superhuman physical attributes. They are said to be as powerful and skilled as the ordinary Keijijo clansmen. They are however, adept users of the element of darkness, capable of manipulating it and creating various darkness-based constructs such as very powerful tendrils and other constructs. Additionally, they are skilled in the Naibu Dengen martial art, Wood Yoso and the Eikyo technique. Their main ability however, is the power to shapeshift into anything. Physically, they are capable of lifting up to five tons, are resistant to high caliber bullets, and are remarkably fast, capable of reaching the speed of sound. They are additionally gifted with the ability to fly and teleport to the location of any other Kaisupon. Two hundred Kaisupon have been created. Their final ability enables them to merge with themselves, forming a more powerful Kaisupon. They are genderless entities.

@Impero: Through his limited various travels in his quest to reforge himself an inescapable myth had remained the one constant denomination regardless the continent. Dismissed by many as a transcending fable as old as the martial arts philosophies themselves, yet revered in its captivating story. Quintus knew if even there were the slightest possibility of truth to the legendary Reisho monastery and its Keijijo grandmasters then his quest would truly begin, and end, with their unrivaled tutelage.

Months had passed with little to show for his expedition. While remaining to keep his body in the pinnacle of physical perfection he had not lost sight of keeping his mind equally proficient. Reading about any and everything he could in the company of dogmatic Asiatic tribesmen clandestinely cut off from the rest of the World, many never having seen, let alone opened their home, to a foreigner. However it was because of this unprecedented symbiotic relationship between East and West that Quintus had finally been shown the treacherous mountain climb to the enigmatic house of martial worship. Exhausted, the Knightfall heir reached out pounding against the massive decorated double doors before collapsing from dehydration.

@Quintus_Knightfall: Ancient and undeniably wise, decorated Keijijo Elder, Zaraki was accompanied by a carefully selected group of Keijijo Elite clansmen. Opening the symbolically decorated doors of the legendary monastery, Zaraki's weathered features were greeted by freezing gusts of winds and barrages of hazardous airborne snow. Before him lied the withering body of a recognizable man, a Knightfall to be precise. "What should we do with him?", the Keijijo Elite queried, uncertain of their future course of action. "Bring him inside", Zaraki responded, "We cannot allow him to die. Besides, Ishin-sama would like to meet anyone who was capable of making this journey".

Elsewhere, in his ceremonial quarters, the enigmatic Impero indulged himself in metaphysically smoke-augmenting meditation, his symbolic mask resting before his knees as a lone candle illuminated his prominently scarred facial features. A respectful knock on his door signaled the unanticipated pause of an intense meditative practice. Informed by loyal Zaraki of an unconscious man who had somehow managed to overcome the countless hazards and difficulties in locating their secluded home. "Bring him to me for healing". Resuming his spiritually replenishing meditation, Ishin was soon presented with the unconscious body of the Knightfall heir. Set down before him, he briefly observed the dehydrated figure prior to commencing the healing process, transferring a specific amount of chi into the Knightfall's physical chakras, steadily healing him of injuries while metaphysically conjuring an airborne mass of water for the man to drink upon regaining consciousness.

@Impero: Opening his eyes immediately he knew the legends to be true. The opal colored mask of emotionless conveyance was an authorizing signature of unspoken credibility. Initiating the Knightfall's devoted sign of respect. Shown through his disciplined lowering of the head while in a kneeling position diverting his entire upper body to the floor. "Forgive my unannounced intrusion." Speaking in Japonics as an accomplished polylinguist. "I have traveled very far to study at the hand of the eminent Keijijo masters."

@Quintus_Knightfall: Like many, the Knightfall sought to study the esoteric combat arts of the Keijijo Clan. Fortunately for him, his success in reaching the fabled monastery presented him as a potentially deserving outsider. With a calm nod, Ishin replied, motioning the mass of water towards the Knightfall heir, "You need to drink some water first. You're somewhat healed, but still a little dehydrated", he requested, the mass of water, ready to transition into a small stream of water that would tunnel into the Westerner's mouth upon his compliance. "We do not give many opportunities to outsiders my friend. But your effort in finding us was noted. I will help you", he agreed, "But first, we must heal you completely", he revealed, standing to his full height, calmly placing his iconic mask on his face. "Please, come with me", he requested, "Your name?".

@Impero: "Quintus, Quintus Knightfall." following closely behind the martial arts mamba. Unable to keep from examining the priceless antiquities and artifacts lining the walls. Their craftsmanship unlike anything he had ever seen before. The potential net worth of simply one of the artistically painted urns would be worth more then 5 of the riches families in the World combined. But for a conservative connoisseur such as himself the historical significance far out weighed any monetary value they may have possessed. "Is it true the Keijijo have no reveals? That their techniques can turn the very lifeforce contained within the body into a weapon?"

#22 Posted by Ishin (6774 posts) - - Show Bio

@Quintus_Knightfall: (Martial Arts Mamba, I am stealing that :P)

Emerging from the secluded quarters of the Impero, Ishin directed his attention towards his most recent invention, the Chi Springs, powerful replicas of the metaphysically-empowering hot springs found during a misadventure that led him to a secret chamber in Santa Maria de Montserrat. "So its as I expected. You're a Knightfall", he said while approaching one of the Chi Springs, "It is all true, Quintus-san. With our knowledge, any ordinary person can become a god among men. I will answer all of your questions, but first, please my friend, immerse yourself in this hot spring. It possesses healing qualities that will rid you of your injuries and render your dehydration nonexistent".

#23 Posted by Urban_Ronin (9935 posts) - - Show Bio

@Impero: (My gift, for the training lol)

Immersing himself in the healing spring body and mind melded in meditative matrimony. It was as if time and reality were veils that had suddenly been lifted opening up a hidden World of potential. After a period of substantial replenishment Quintus emerged from the powerful waters to be greeted by two dogmatic zealots wrapping his sculpted from in a plan white robe. The hospitality shown on this night would not soon be forgotten.

@Quintus_Knightfall: (Haha how considerate)

Having completed the metaphysical healing process, Quintus was clad in a ceremonial white robe. Approaching his soon-to-be pupil, Ishin would now indulge himself in answering the various queries that the charismatic Knightfall may have. "I have much to tell you, Quintus-san. But before I do so, please ask me all your questions, I'll answer them", he assured prior to introducing himself, "My name is Ishin".

@Impero: "I have just one, Sifu Ishin. Will the usage of esoteric chi techniques corrupt my soul?" Situated in a folded leg yoga position, he listened intently.

#28 Posted by Ishin (6774 posts) - - Show Bio

@Quintus_Knightfall: A valid question, it was not uncommon for one to encounter corruption in the pursuit of martial supremacy, none serving as a better example than the Impero's indisputable rival, Oni. "No, it won't. The Keijijo have spent hundreds of thousands of years indulged in chi techniques. Chi is a universal metaphysical force. And naturally, it does possess its dark aspects. With chi, you can do something such as manipulating an element or even shaping your environment. There are techniques and certain fighting styles that do corrupt one's soul however. We in the clan have labeled them forbidden techniques. Some forbidden because they will corrupt your soul.. others because they possess fatal drawbacks. My ultimate fighting technique is a forbidden one because of fatal drawbacks. But we here in the clan, do not teach forbidden techniques that corrupt the soul", he paused, "Those techniques often rely on drawing power from the darker aspects of chi or in imbuing the power of demonic manifestations in oneself", he concluded.

#29 Posted by Urban_Ronin (9935 posts) - - Show Bio

@Impero: A fascination had been born. One that would only subside after having obtain a complete understand of the metaphysical teachings, techniques, and philosophies of the Keijijo. Quintus was ready. Ready to shed the years of OSC indoctrination. Ready to shed his father's overbearing grip. And most importantly, ready to become the hero his city deserved. Bringing a solid fist against his vertical stretched fingers, "I would be honored if you would agree to become my Sifu."

#30 Posted by Ishin (6774 posts) - - Show Bio

@Quintus_Knightfall: "Of course, Quintus-san", he responded with a calm bow, a testament to his respect for the ambitious Knightfall. "What I can teach you is vast. And I must know what it is that you want to learn. There are a variety of elemental martial arts. Fire Yoso, Water Yoso, Air Yoso, Earth Yoso, Wood Yoso, San or rather, Acid Yoso and the most difficult, Lightning Yoso. Aside from those, there are more chi-centered fighting styles. There is the power-based fighting style, Gaibu Dengen but you do not possess the necessary chi reserves for that yet. The more controlled and precise pressure point style known as Naibu Dengen may benefit you more. It is our deadliest martial art for close combat. It relies on surgically injecting your own chi into the various pressure points or rather chakra-points of your opponents to achieve a variety of internal effects. You would be able to crush your opponent's organs, paralyze them, burst their blood vessels, blind them.. the effects are almost limitless", he paused. "You will have to mentally and spirituality hone yourself through intense meditation, followed by increasing your speed through precise physical exercises". "But of course, there is much more available, there is another close combat fighting style that is both devastating and easier than Naibu Dengen to learn".

#31 Edited by Urban_Ronin (9935 posts) - - Show Bio

@Impero: Never before had such a display of unequivocal martial arts academics been witnessed by an outsider, a foreigner, a novice, in ever basic sense of the word. Even the illustrious Order of Sancta Camisa could not hold their combat elitism as high as the elevated Keijijo clan's esoteric mastery of the form. Yet determination and natural athletic ability coupled with his own cultivated style allowed Quintus an impressively rapid rate of growth. His natural photographic polymath ability pushing his performances past the normal means of any human. Under the expert tutelage of the Keijijo grandmaster through the written word, as well as the daily physical trails specifically tailored from years of disciplined practice, Quintus was quickly being molded into the Living Weapon. As a reward for his unwavering devotion and ethical purity he was granted the ceremonial hooded uniform and red mask of the Red Veil Guardsmen.

#32 Posted by Ishin (6774 posts) - - Show Bio

@Quintus_Knightfall: Quintus' rapid progression in the innumerable Naibu Dengen training exercises in particular was unanticipated, with many outsiders encountering unmitigated struggle in their initial immersion in the Keijijo's enigmatic martial arts and combat techniques. Having taught the Knightfall heir the art of precise chakra-point control, the kind that was fundamentally necessary for true mastery of the chi-based pressure point combat style, the Impero reveals the untold potential of a true Naibu Dengen master. "You've progressed very fast. Quintus-san, upon achieving true mastery in Naibu Dengen, you will become the deadliest of combatants in close quarters. Only a fellow Naibu Dengen master can hope to match the skill of another Naibu Dengen master. With it, your hands have been molded into surgically precise weapons of peerless offensive prowess. In your hands, you possess the power to internally manipulate your opponents. There is one final thing you must learn in order to become a complete master. You must learn to use your chi-senses as your vision, with it, you will be able to detect the presence of your opponent's chakra-points before your eyes can even perceive your opponent. It is what I have dubbed the Chakra-Point Field. Once an opponent steps into this field, they are at the mercy of your ability. Learn to rely on this more than your vision and muscle memory", indeed, should Quintus' mastery transcend to truthfulness, he will become a virtually unparalleled weapon for close combat. Naibu Dengen possessing only one true counter, Gaibu Dengen, a forbidden fighting style with only one living master.

@Impero: "Yes Sifu." rolling his wrists together in one full rotation bringing his hands together in a peak as he bowed. Taking his masters spiritually guidance into account as later that day he trained alongside the Keijijo elite practicing the esoteric technique of visual identification through respective chi patterns. Taking the initiative and furthering the method into a form of "chi blocking" pressure point styles complimentary of his frame and stylish attacks.

@Quintus_Knightfall: Quintus' continued refinement of the deadly Naibu Dengen martial art proved a testament to his undying desire to martially perfect himself. Under the tutelage of the Keijijo Grandmaster, the Knightfall heir's skill transcended far beyond what is thought to be epitome of martial mastery by the common world. "The Chakra-Point Field, use it as a weapon. You will be able to anticipate your opponent's movements with it, an advantage against a faster combatant. In your Chakra-Point Field, you are nearly unbeatable. You see everything, anticipate everything", he concluded.

"After everything you've learned coupled with your meditation and self-training, you should be able to access all eighty of the forbidden chakra-points", he paused upon reaching the desired location. Turning round to face his Amazonian pupil, Ishin continued, "You are a genius after all, correct?", he teased with a smirk, "Now what I want to see is how well your body handles the strain of using seventy nine of the chakra-points. Access their chi, now".

@Impero: Following him through the monastery, and experiencing a moment of surprise as they arrive within Impero's personal training quarters. Interesting, it seemed this would be the culmination of all their work thus far.

"Of course I'm a genius." A pleasant laugh. "I've got this far, after all!"

Closing her eyes and tapping into her chakra-points. Slowly she accesses one after another, slowly opening more and more chakras until all seventy nine points are open. Electrical energy flickers from her hands. Her hair drifts in the air, static popping and cracking around her. When she opens her eyes, they glow with the full might of her godlike chi reserves.

@Eagle_of_the_East: "I can't have you doing this in the normal training grounds. You'd destroy them", he pointed out, calmly crossing his arms before his chiseled chest, carefully observing the fruits of Asteria's training. Upon the conclusion of her "transformation", Ishin begins, "As tempting as it may be to see what the eightieth chakra-point will do, never embrace it unless you're prepared to die", he warned briefly. "Attack me", he requested, instantly relying on his exclusive Lightning Yoso Armor technique, electrically stimulating his nervous system, experiencing a dramatic increase in both speed and durability. A violent blue aura of lightning-like energy radiates around his body, eyes crackling with fearsome energy.

"We're going to accustom you to rigorous high-speed combat", he revealed, adopting his self-taught Lightning Yoso stance for the brief spar, while colossal indeed, continued use of Gaibu Dengen had eventual physical drawbacks on the user.

Parka pulled tight to protect him from the elements, the Madripoor Mastermind ascends the snow pelted peak, his intended destination the Reisho Monastery, his intentions purely peaceful. Of course he would most likely have been able to near instantaneously arrive inside the sealed compound with the help of his rather unique mutation, the Lord of the Yakuza chose to pursue a more traditional method of travel. His meeting with the enchanting Miya and her praises of the clan's leader, Ishin, had peaked his interest in meeting such an enigmatic figure.

@Impero: She started to run forward and attack him, however the massive quantities of chi empowering her body were staggering even to her. What was intended to be a simple step became a mighty lunge, and she flew across the training area to smash headlong into the ground.

Attempting to flip herself to her feet, she whips her body FAR to hard, and snaps around in a full flip that smashes her back to the dirt in a loud THUD and spray of dust.

She sighs.

Slowly climbs back to her feet, being very careful of the vastly enhanced speed and power of her motions.

"I meant to do that. I'm lulling you into a false sense of security." A little chuckle, and she settles into her combat stance once more, preparing to try again.

@Katashi_Nagano: (At a different time :))

Alerted of an approaching chi-signature, the Keijijo Elders instruct a triad of the Keijijo Elite to stand before the ominous entrance to the fabled Reisho Monastery, a trinity to greet a potential visitor or confront a potential threat. Situated in front of Reisho's grand gates, they wait in trained patience.

@Eagle_of_the_East: A calm chuckle was presented as his response, "Of course. I wouldn't assume you were finding this difficult", Ishin teased, waiting for her following attack while instructing her to do as he advises, "Accessing the power of the chakra-points is an easy enough task for a genius. Learning to control the dramatic leap in power and speed will prove slightly harder. You must concentrate. Eventually, you'll be doing it subconsciously".

@Impero: Effortlessly pulling himself over the edge of the cliff and swiftly rising to his feet, Katashi quickly closes the distance between the trio and himself, maintain a pace not to fast and not quite to slow, his intentions were purely peaceful and his posture reflected such, stopping several paces from the guards he offers a respectful bow to them as a greeting.

@Katashi_Nagano: Bowing respectfully in response, the Keijijo Elite, certain of the man's peaceful intentions, permitted him entrance into the legendary monastery. Inside, stood a single Elder, the most prominent and knowledgeable, Zaraki. Waiting to meet with this supposed visitor.

@Impero: "Difficult, pfft, nothing could be farther from the truth!" Grinning at the bold faced lie. The very magnitude of her power worked against her now, her lifetime of intuitive physical balance and control learned so deep as to now create a massive challenge to her. She had to completely relearn how to move when utilizing her chi.

Listening carefully to his instructions, making note of his words she focuses. Concentrating on the most basic of things, her physical motions. Taking one step, and then another, slowly walking over to him.

However her ego is significantly greater than her control, and after her careful walk to him she throws a punch, a amazingly fast strike of such titanic speed it rips her from her feet. Throwing her toward him, smashing the sound barrier over and over as her fist cracks toward his mask like a whip.
