Alright. My student and I shall go do our little bout. Training session, so it won't be 'the greatest thing alive' and won't be perfect. This the first time for Portrait, so let's get this going and see what she's got.
Quality vs Portrait: The Beginning: OoC RPG Training Session
Posted. Copy and pasted the first couple of paragraphs because I thought they made a good opening post. Don't worry about my next being as long and don't EVER try to compare yours to mine.... What you can do, you can do Portrait. Taht sample you showed me was good, and what you do next will be great even if it isn't long. Not everyone is the same
- Just wanted the opening to be kick a$$.

Posted.
What I noticed so far.
1) You don't space out between paragraphs. It's harder to read when you do that, so one simple space can make me and others, the readers, easily read the post better without being confused.
2) in your second post you said you "Kicked a man off their horse" Man is 1 meaning his so just wanted to put that.
~~~END~~~
That was basically it. Your good, just remember you have to attack me and stuff.
If you haven't, read the RPGING Rules and try to understand them- if something confuses you ask me and I'll get to you about that.
P.S. Great fight so far.
I think I about wrapped it up for my character in my previous post.You won, but my character survived.Nice battle! [more]
Okay coolz.
Added you to my RPG thingy on what I've done in a blog.
Thnx, you did great too.
So do you think you're good enough to venture out into RPing? Or do you still want a guiding hand?
Thanks for the help. If you have any more RPGing tips that would be great, but I think I am ... [more]
- When your battling, remember to block attacks and then attack at least once in your posts.
- Be descriptive on your plans. Maybe you'll write it out in third person, or have your character talking to themselves. Explain in detail.
- Be descriptive about almost everything around you when your trying to describe something(i.e. What I did with the bench in my first post) It helps make your posts with more quality and a little longer.
- Try to spread things out. Like my quota was to keep my posts around 4 paragraphs. Never tire yourself out, keep at a normal pace so you don't burn yourself.
- Most Battles don't last ten or less posts, luckily we did around 20 or 18 :P So i'm proud of you for sticking with the program.
- RPG stories are more free, and you can post as much as you like and as long as you like.. it's a fun story
- RPG battles are more tight, and you can't go to far into the RP with your posts without the other persons consent. More restrictions in this too.
- Umm.. just have fun at whatever you do in RPing, and always be proud of your work.
n/p.. one more.
9. Don't take anything personal that people post in character. It doesn't reflect on their personality, it's just them staying true to what their character would do. Everyone is kind hearted on the site, some people(New-Be's/@ssholes) have problems just ignore them or Flag 'em and Mods or Staff will finish them off.
That's it.
As a student of Legacy, you're/ everyone who's reached this point graduation, ceremony has been discussed with the instructors and we'll contact you when we see fit that enough people have graduated in order to do this 'special' graduation.
