minuets usually one thing when you write a post you aren't RPGing write OOC (out of character) after the title so people know where to just talk and the difference from where to fight and you can use the thread for training
usually good posts are about an hour or 2 more if your devising a plan
but when your in an rpg and you really like it. and so does everyone else and posts are being cranked out like every 10 minutes practically. the adrenaline can make you end up posting faster, and still doing a good post
as much as it is need for your opponents to understand your purpose.. I take really long posting because I write it then read it like four times to make sure is what I want and it to sounds, every word is important.. besides I'm latino so I have to check in case I wrote something wrong...
I agree with this. Personally it usually takes me an hour for a story post, sometimes longer for a battle post. Its my opinion that you should take as long as you want (without disrupting the flow of the Rpg of course). I'd also add that just because your post didn't take long to write, or isn't very long, doesn't mean it isn't good or even great.
Really? 30 minutes? I don't know how or why but I come with stories with a snap of a finger. As long as I have something to work with I can come up with something fast. And Gambler I did the same thing on that PM of the Black Wolf country origin thing. I came up with that in minute.
Well usually it takes me 45 minutes but when i´m really thinking about the post it would take about 1-2 hours. But i get so tired when i´m posting and i can not think about anything else
Eh...it varies. Writers block...it can take as much as a couple of hours (I recommend doing something else in the meantime though)...otherwise...between 15 and 90 minutes I could imagine.
