-Each challenger will choose three Pokemon to have on their squad. Each Pokemon in the team of three will take turns battling until the opposing teams Pokemon faint. You can't switch Pokemon in the middle of a battle unless the Pokemon is asleep or incapacitated. This Tournament can hold up to 8 People, If more join than I will increase the number of people allowed to join accordingly.
-No Legendary Pokemon are allowed.
-The Pokemon can only use moves that they can learn and can use as many moves in their moveset as they like.
-Type Advantages matter. Ex. If Slugma is hit with Hydro Cannon it is double the damage and should be taken into effect while roleplaying.
-Sleeping Pokemon Can Wake Up After two turns
-Abilities of Pokemon matter as well. Primeape has Vital Spirit which means he can't go to sleep.
-The Pokemon are all Lvl. 100
-The more you repeat powerful moves, the more tired your Pokemon gets. Remember all moves have PP which means they have a limited amount of uses. For more information about the Pokemon you are using and whatnot, go to Bulbapedia.
-You can make the Pokemon dodge, bounce off things, do unique moves like "Watergun on the ground to propel yourself up" and such like they do in the Anime, but keep the realism in moves like the Game. Teams: My Team:
Its pretty simple, i mean. You choose your own attacks. It doesn't really need to be a tournament I suppose, just a place where people can verse each other. I'd be willing to do it later.
@Bucketz: I think people would be more interested to be trainers rather than the Pokemon they use,just my opinion.
Maybe your right. I mean, I did Pokemon instead of Trainers to be original. Its pretty much the same though because instead of "Pikachu, THUNDERBOLT" you can just do Thunderbolt. But I suppose I should revise the rules to make it more appealing.

@-Eclipse-: @Icarusflies: Lol to both of you. Btw there is no limit to the amount of moves the pokemon can use as long as it is in their moveset. So you don't need to post four moves because they can use any (within their moveset capabilities). GEN IV does suck. Oh and I didn't think of hold items -_-.
@Bucketz: What about moves they can learn through breeding? O.o
Also, you said Gen IV sucks, then included two Gen IV Pokemon in your team xP
For me, I can't think of any Gen I Pokemon I don't like, Gen II felt a little weak to me (but there are some AWESOME additions, Teddiursa at the top of that pile), Gen III is my second favourite (and Treecko is my favourite Pokemon full stop after Snorlax xD) I liked two of the starters from Gen IV (Empoleon annoyed me, I think it was his pointless type combination) but other than that, I could count the ones I liked on one hand. And Gen V? Utter crap. Every Pokemon I've seen looks like a rehash of a previous one and the only somewhat decent looking ones are total Pikachu ripoffs. Definitely chose the right time to stop playing the games, lol
@-Eclipse-: Agreed. I was kidding with the Gen IV pokemon, I said it because I had two of them on my team. Gen IV was one of my favorite because of the starters and other pokemon. Gen I was amazing i also can't think of a pokemon I don't like, though the zubat did piss me off in Fire Red -_-...damn caves. Gen V is crap, I don't even like the anime series for Black & White. Also yes I suppose breeding moves are okay, so are TMs and HMs.
On another note we will be able to start soon because we have 6 contenders which I suppose is enough. We will wait a little more to see if 2 more people can join.
