Out Of Exile

Damnation.

That was what they were meant for the moment they decided to take up arms against the warlord. Sparda shook his head, reminiscing about the choices they had made that had gotten them into this situation. Living in a city in the desert, outside of Atheia's great walls, fending off the harsh storms and the desert creatures. It was as close to a living hell that could be possible.

Sparda turned from the sand dune he was perched on. He had stared at the mighty city for far too long, it's far away spires entrancing him. He slid down the hill of sand, hitting flat purchase and walking back towards the rebel city. At his side, his long scimtar shined in the moonlight. He flexed the large gauntlet that covered his right hand. It was a blessed piece of armor, one that he had uncovered shortly after being banished from Atheia. Soon, though, him and his allies would be back within the cities walls, and they would reclaim the fortress that was rightfully there's. The morning coming in a few hours would mark when the rebels, hundreds strong, would attack.

Retribution had come.
