Hello and welcome!
This is a new CVU scheme created to help new RPGers find their feet. As all of us have seen, for every one RPGer that decides to write here five turned up, put their feet into the water, and then never returned. Why? Well, there's many reasons. I hope to tackle just a single of those reasons with this new idea! It's been tried before but never in this fashion. Taking the initiative to new RPGers and introducing them to the fold rather than having them round about like headless chickens (we all did it!).
This thread isn't for new writers, it's for established ones.
Do you want to help new RPGers?
Do you want to possibly make new friends?
Help the RPG section?
But don't get this wrong, this isn't an "ask" and "get" type of project if you like, a mentor is more than somebody who approaches a person and then never speaks again. This should be, if you become a mentor, you decide to invest in this new RPGer and build them up. Because there's no better way of retaining RPGers than actually forming a friendship with them if it's possible.
That's why if you decide to become a mentor make sure you're one hundred percent committed to helping somebody otherwise it's unfair on them.
If you'd like to be involved send me a message via Discord or private message Pyrogram! Once that's done I'll add you to the group of existing mentors who got involved a few weeks back.
