Melinda Galbraith

Melinda Galbraith is an elder childe of the Methuselah Helena and the most recent Regent of the Sabbat.

Biography

Melinda Galraith was considered to be one of the most dangerous vampires in the world, notorious for her cruelty. She was a stunning woman with dark brown hair and hazel eyes and was always dressed in the finest clothes money can buy.

Melinda was born in Spain. In life, she was a slave and hated being a slave but was captured and forced to leave Europe by Helena.

Helena embraced Melinda in 1143. Together they traveled to Mexico with the Conquistadors, where waged war against the Aztecs. Then without a word of warning Helena abandoned Melinda. And then the Sabbat came, and Melinda joined them eagerly, as it helped her broke the power of the Blood-Bond, that held her in Helena's thrall.

Melinda became regent after winning the Monomacy against former Regent Gorchist, diablerizing him in 1933. Although she was a Toreador antitribu, many in the sect believed her to be a Lasombra like her predecessors. She is a follower of the Status Quo faction and it was believed she was on the Path of Caine.

Before a Palla Grande in 2000 she was (allegedly) slain by unknown parties, and was briefly impersonated by the Tzimisce Zachary Sikorsky, who discovered her (alleged) remains (and was afraid of being framed by her murder). She reemerged in 2010, and reclaimed her station as regent.

@honor_avenger: Bringing some of my favorite NPC's too the CVnU, is all. I tend to play characters that were killed off in the cannon, seeing as how they have room for growth.

@naamah: Considering the end of the WOD in 2004 you have a lot to chose from. lol

@honor_avenger: VTM was awesome, and then they made that Requiem B.S. it was awful.

@naamah: Yeah, they deserved going broke with it. They even messed up the long promised Apocalypse/Gehenna/Ascension/etc.

@honor_avenger: Yep, so many amazing characters, that I was truly invested in, and then nothing. Losers.

@naamah: Some were obviously fan service (Lucita and Fatimaa) but I really liked Anatole and Becket.

@honor_avenger: I'll give you Fatimaa, but I loved Lucita, and Anatole, and Becket, and Sascha Vykos.

@honor_avenger: Sascha Vykos would be fun to play, may have to NPC him/her/it, I forget which...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who notice the VTM stuff here.

@sundance_kid: Nope, it's based off of a NPC character from OWOD, data-base. I took some liberties with the making her not final dead in 2000, that's about it. She is a fun character to RP, and I like VTM, and find their take on Vampires the most interesting.
