Powers: Mr. Onomatopoeia possess a very unique mental power. His ability is actually high level telekinesis, but due to some deformity in his brain his use of its power is limited. He can only use his power by using onomatopoeia to represent the desired effect. If he were to point his finger and say "Bang!" an invisible bullet of psionic energy would travel to whatever he was pointing at. If he were to look at someone or something and say "Boom!" the ground under them would explode. He can only do these things if he says the word. He can also use his power for superhuman strength, but only in specific ways. He could not normally break a steel bar barehanded, but if he grabbed it and said "Snap!" it would break like a toothpick. He cannot use his power to lift things because there is no "lift" sound. He can, however, hit harder by saying "Pow!" or "Bam!" when he throws a punch or kick. He can put on a short burst of speed by saying "Whoosh!" or "Zoom!" and summon lightning from the sky by pointing where he wants it to go and making the sound of a lightning strike. Even with his limits, Mister Onomatopoeia is still a very deadly and powerful villain.

This reminds me that Kevin Smith needs to stay the hell away from Batman. Aside from that this looks pretty freaking cool. Interested to see him in action.

If he yells "squish!" do things get squishy?

@shootout: If he grabbed a rock and said squish, nothing would happen. If he grabbed your face and said it you'd have a very bad day.

So if I break your jaw you're powerless?

@the_limit: Yes, if he can't talk he's screwed. It's not that he actually CAN'T use his powers without making noises, his brain is just effed up and won't let him. There will probably be a story where he gets full control of his power and becomes really high tier at some point.
