Story:
Jackson's older brother was a prodigy from birth. Some of his peers called him the second coming of Nicola Tesla. His death shocked the world.
He was found in his laboratory surrounded by evidence of a struggle. He had been torn to pieces. Jackson decided to investigate himself and find his brother's killer. He discovered a strange vial of black liquid and a recording of his brother. His brother had created nanoscopic machines, and invention that could have changed everything. After seeing what they were capable of, however, he decided their power was too much for mankind to handle. The nanites escaped from the vial as Jackson was watching the tape and swarmed around him. The machines crawled under his skin and established a neural link with him, giving him total control over them. They took the shape of a tattoo on his arm.
Jackson used the nanites in his search for his brother's killer and discovered that it had been a famous scientist named Harold Carson. Carson had found out about the nanites and decided he could not allow them to be destroyed. He took them for himself and killed their creator. After a lengthy battle against Carson, Jackson killed his foe and took his nanites. After they migrated to his body they covered his skin, giving him more tattoos all over his body. Due to a misunderstanding, he was believed to be his brother's killer. Jackson now calls himself Ink and hopes that some day he can clear his name. One way he improves his public image is by helping those in need and by avoiding lethal force.
Nano-powers:
- Jackson's body has been augmented by the nanites, making him physically superior to any normal human. He can lift a car over his head with little effort, run at interstate speeds, and jump 5 stories into the air.
- The nanites can be used to create almost any structure, but if Jackson's concentration is broken they crumble.
- Jackson himself is not bulletproof, but his tattoos will harden in response to trauma. Nanites can also stop bullets by forming a shield.
- The nanites in Jackson's bloodstream keep him getting sick and can fight poison.
- Yes, this was based heavily off of Big Hero 6.
- Jackson does NOT have the power to deconstruct on construct matter. Carson had this ability, but Jackson is not mentally powerful enough to do anything this precise.
- Jackson often finds new ways to use his powers, but never in the middle of combat because that would be cheap.
