One Thousand years ago, the creature known as Gen came into being among the world of the living. Crawling from the pit of hell and into this world, he escaped an unknown master. Simplest of parasites once he broke through the veil, he was unknown to all who stepped upon him. But he took every name, the moment there boot hit his body he took control of there lives. Over the next four hundred years he systematically took control of one member of there ancestry and corrupted them. Spawning some of the most vile creatures to grace this planet, or any other throughout the universes. From Ghenghis Khan to Adolf Hitler, he has created a history of blood and violence. But among the most vile of his creations through corruption are and forever are his Darklings and Parasyte creations.
Born from hellfire and dark energy they are literally a portion of his very soul, or what remains of it. Each a beast that can be controlled, and each with its own personality. Different Shapes and Sizes fill his army of darklings and parasytes.. They are the minions of a man who has for a millennial been the top of the food chain. Born after countless experiments in and out of hell itself, they mix both demon and hellion make up. Creating something completely different.Some seem to be small and imp like, but make no mistake they are all capable of the same strength no matter size.
They all have one singular weakness, Gen. They do what he says no matter if the task will kill or maim them in the end. They act as a hive and instinctual protect there master no matter what. Although there have been a few to go against there masters wishes. Once a part of Gen's psyche Ginju separated himself from his host, and became his own creature. Only to end up once again a part of Gen's body.
Parasytes differ from Darklings in one key feature, they MUST have a host to control to survive outside the cloud of brimstone and hellfire that surrounds Gen. Once the parasyte matures, they may venture out of the host. Sometimes the host is kept alive and may go free and do as it so pleases, but many times the host dies upon entry or is already dead when Parasyte enters the body.
On the rare occurrence that the human is alive during impregnation, the host may on rare occurrences become the dominant personality within the mind. And able to control the parasyte fully, but yet only one has achieved this feat and that was nearly five hundred years ago.
