Laid To Rest

It was night, the moon shined and her bliss gave birth to the sight of castle Dracula. A messenger from the Valadour clan came knocking on the fort of the caslte. The moment Dracula layed eyes upon the messenger, he threw a speer (always residing next to his throne) at him and leaving him impaled on the wall. Now that the messenger was from an enemy vampire clan had little to do with the blood thirsty warlords action, he wanted to have some fun.

Now the message the ambassador had with him, explained that the Valadour clan wanted to have peace with Vlad Dracula, and as a sign of favour they wanted their messenger back in one piece. Dracula, let the ambassador go. The crippled messenger was happy upon his fortune, and was just urging to let the hiding horde of Valadour vampires behind the woods give the command for attack. As the messenger arrived at the hidden camp, the only thing he found, was death. His clan was left slaughtered by the forces of Dracula. The messenger was just to turn around and head to Valadour as Dracula arrived infront of him and twisted his head off.

Six days have passed and Valadour became unpatient. he sent someone to aid his (non-exsisting) troops in combat against the evil vampire overlord. That someone was Final Arrow, who had fought side by side with Valadour in the Vampire Clan Wars and became one of his best friends...

Dracula now being back residing on his throne was now waiting for the reinforcements Valadour had sent, but to his suprise, it wasn't an army, it was a man. In the glimpse of an eye, shadows embraced the dark entity known as Final Arrow while they succumbed back into his being. Final Arrow now spoke and greeted the Vampire overlord, he spoke of matters which Valadour had planned, and yet Final Arrow wanted to do it in his own way. Valadour wanted me alive, for bloodline sake, but Final Arrow wanted my death... something i have yet to be given....

The Oath i made centuries ago preserved me from death to this day, even though i might have died alot of times, it was never the final answer... if the persians hadn't attacked my kingdome... maybe it wouldn't had come so far, and maybe... Mina hadn't died..... Mina..... oh Mina....

These memories are from the past, and yet confront with things i see in my current surroundings, things that have scorned my soul, things that have forged me. All i wanted, was to be together with her again... and now.... i never can, never will be....

Final Arrow layed his ruby red eyes upon Dracula's guise and raised his arms, which was reason enough for Dracula to attack. Vlad's form perished infront of Final Arrow and mistified, the room filled with mist and smoke.... the lights dimmed.....suddenly the candle lights fire's seemed to explode as the Vampire King suddenly took shape and form. He carried along his glorious battle sword that had led him through the ages of agony of the past.... Mina....
