Flashy lights and a promise of a fight and Ruby Blake was instantaneously sold. The threat of potential and perhaps entirely probable death only made the hyperactive vixen more eccentric for the coming conflict. Soon enough Ruby had joined a colorful cast of contestants, she didn't pay much attention to the introductions. In fact her head just nodded affirmatively about every three seconds as if to say "I totally understand Phillip." But she really didn't hear a word he'd said other then firstly the Phillipians, that's what she was calling her team at least, had to fight each other. She rather liked this notion had to weed out the softies.

Generally however Ruby was just here for the chance to kick ass and chew bubblegum. Despite her assortment of talents she had a natural love for fighting. She did her best to avoid being a killer but really anything was good to go in her play book. Survival sometimes called for life or death and she accepted that, not to mention going into the illustrious tournament Ruby couldn't be bothered to contain herself. She joined Avalon as a receptionist but it was no secret her favorite part was when she got to drop kick people out of the building. Or would of been, almost no one dared attack the corporate domain that was the higharchy of the food chain. They'd planned to launch a heroic team financing daring heroics, but regretfully that was taking time. This left Ruby bored so entering the tournament her only thought was on kicking buts.

She found herself on what appeared to be Mars, the red earth lightly catching rays of the radiant sun. It was surprisingly hospitable she could breath fine, air did seem thin though to much exertion could be troublesome. A thick cloud like a tangerine fog lingered around the small city block. "I bet it's some Hunger Game ish, I ain't getting Mars Poisoning." In all honesty the dust clouds were just dust clouds the playful Ruby however didn't think the fight could be that simple. Taking a moment she tried to deduct what form would be best for the given predicament. She settled on gold.

A long pony tail of crimson hair swayed faintly in the artificial winds of the Martian Colony. Dressed in gold armor she slightly blended in with the red earth and rolling tides of dust. Seeking to use this as cover she stalked the town, in the golden visage she possessed the ability of magnetism or polarity as a ancient city of Martians it had a fair share of metals. Something Ruby used to try and pinpoint her targets. She'd try to close the distance before releasing spikes from the earth. She wanted to pin her prey down and fire a round in their pretty faces.

However Ruby also had no idea who she was fighting, if she could track them or if her powers would count for crap. But that was the part she loved the most. A joyous smile was plastered on her face at the thought of the unpredictable a of conflict.

Silent space filled with uneasy sound of the metallic wings, casting a large shadow of it's magnificent self, accomponied with his unholy smile the angel of death finally arrived at the scene. Gracefully floating above the ground seemlessly unaffected by the thin air as his wings surrounds his body turning him close to a cocoon. His gaze upon the young woman, his mind calculating the possibilities of the eventual fight that'll take place, He continued his passive existence for the arrival of the other combatant.

The real motive behind joining the KOV was unknown along with his choice for the man called Philip but giving it a thought now would be a pointless effort for his capable mind. Since he had joined he had the chance to see the other fighters that chose philip. A good chance to test his might and gather information over many different individuals. In the first round he was assigned to this place. Unnaturally pushed into a semi livable place on mars, he were to meet with two rivals. From the first second of his arrival to the scene his first impression was an urge to turn back and leave, although he stayed the urge had kept a place in his psyche.

''The wait is over!'' Xorion declared that he waited long enough in his fallen persona. ''Time to get it done.'' His voice filling the air as his telekinesis accelerates it's strenght. Without changing his cocoon like form, his body ascended higher with an eager spinning move. Upon getting the optimal altitude, his wings extended to each side throwing countless blade like feathers to beat the ground. Each of the feathers had taken a great momentum from the spining and an even greater speed from Xorion's telekinetic might. In the aftermath his blades would leave only a few small lands that hadn't touched.

Perhaps the spikes and dauntingly swift bullet found mark in the opposing beauty somewhere in the city. The other target however was free of injury. Thankfully he was easy to spot. Metallic wings were hard to identify do to organic materials over steel. Still she could detect it thanks to the magnetic control the golden state offered Ruby. The light shown of edgy wings with a vibrancy some what blinding yet also clear and visible in the cloudy swirling sand. And this was advantageous for while having the high ground he was easy to find. While Ruby lay buried in swirling sand like a shrouding fog.

Feathers rained down in furious display. Swift as bullets they lacerated the ground but her shield raised. A faint hymn sounding as enchanted defense pelted her location. Not all of her could be guarded however by bladed storm. Technological shielding dropping to an eighty seven percent as winds and sheer numbers granted effect. One feather stuck from her armor just above sternum, fatal perhaps if not for technological innovation.

"Your one liners are as clever as...well they weren't." Ruby speaks this in casual volume allowing dusty winds to make location harder to uncover. And with a boost of magnetic acceleration I propel my bladed Uru shield towards the man in flight. Speed and sharpness of the weapon likely to split foe in two. Like a boomerang it coils in the air threatening a second lethal blow on return.

As shield once again unites with bearer Ruby uses spear to fling herself airborn. Attempting to use distant metals in her foes wings or at least iron in his veins to permit her fatal impalement. Magnetism being used to try and steel the course. Shield rests over her head to safe guard predicted feathery barrage on approach. With no understanding of her foe however there was no way of knowing how well her moves would be or how accurate predictions stood.

Xorion's soulles eyes wathced the ground as his feathers mrecilessly beat the ground as his ears locked to the sound of metal clashing with metal. His opponent even though seemingly trying to achieve an hidden state, was right out in the open for his sight. The woman carried a shield which proved it's durability against his feathers, showing her defensive capabilities but also a shield like that could be a fierce weapon too in the rightfull hands. Xorion didn't show any intimacy towards his enemy without giving a seconds thought to her words.

His concantration on full capacity, he watched as the woman threw her shield to the angel of death. Xorion could evade it or deflect it with his wings but instead he wanted to test the shields condition. A slight move of his hips and a little extennsion from his right wing changed his current state for more maneuverable stance. He almost embraced the bladed shield. Letting it slide from the exoskeletal armour on his chest, Xorion watched as the shield took most of the armor with him with a pinch of blood. A little grin taking over his soulless face Xorion pushed the Shield back with his wings.

Xorion blood pumping had fastened with the heat he felt from his chest. His armor steadily regrowing to close the gap but the scar stood still, his telekinesis warned him over the changes in the electromagnetic field around his body. His wings showed no movement as they were made of an organic substance rather than a metallic one but his body moved as the woman got to the iron in his veins. Xorion didn't fight with the sudden change inhis body state and as his wings slapped the air he moved towards his foe waiting for her rightfull moment with her spear ready to probe.

Xorion's mind easily took the control over his body through sheer telekinetic mind but his course still the same, he flew tworads his opponent. His wings surrounding his body, he directly went for his opponent like a sharp drill as his body started spinning around. He would crash on his foe with his wings drilling what it meets but whatever the end move, he would then open up his wings sending a few feathers down on her to keep her on guard or off guard, he would then do his real move a sudden attack form his telekinetic blade created around his fist to pass through any defense for a direct hit to the body of his foe.

@xorion:

As mystic metallic disk traversed the air seeking flesh Ruby could make out some possible outcomes. Moves she might do in said condition. What she uncovered was that this archangel was insulting, choosing to take the blow which was aggregating. Ruby thought herself a capable fighter a deadly and unique foe to think her opposition let her hit them pissed her off. Do to her own aggregation she also failed to notice the armor recover itself leading her to believe that her opponent was much more durable then what fight showed. Shield returning she watched as the man was pulled towards her through magnetic attributes. Surprisingly his feathers were in fact natural to be so and yet so volatile did peek her curiosity.

As the man came down like a oversized drill she knew the initial attempt to impale the angelic reaver was unlikely. Instead she took action to raise shield in preparation. Stance made to help absorb impact. Sparks cascaded over her figure as collision came testing the very might of mythic shield. These very sparks served to hinder the sight of the sister to Nobody. Leaving her open to the thrust made upon landing. While in some cases telekinesis could be defended the psyonic blade in use could not. Advanced as her energy shield gifted to her from Santiago was it couldn't stave off such a blade. The stinging sensation of open wound made her lower rib throb in agony. A slight peculiar warmth suggested a trace of internal bleeding, it wasn't dire she could keep fighting but it certainly didn't feel good. After a razor like barrage came again turn became hers now and she was swift to retort. Energy shields had dropped now to a seventy percent, the potency of murderous wings placed on display.

Firstly thanks to their close proximity needed for such a stab to be made she lunged forward seeking to run spear through his neck. Her shield would rise as she retracted the lance to attempt to block any counter. Traditionally this would be followed by additional thrust but not in Ruby's case as behind cover of golden shield the spear would shift to that of a Gladius style short sword. Turning upon her heel in swift succession the blade would seek to spill guts of angelic foe. All leading into the follow up.

Leaping backwards she tossed the shield yet again in classic pattern. The shield would never have chance to find mark however as Ruby would change form. In a flash of vermillion light she would no longer look like some gladiator but be cloaked in a black and red attire with hood resembling that of Ridinghood and devious sickle in hand. In this crimson variation she was impeccably swift and sought to use that to her advantage.

With the flash of light there was a chance of foe being victim to blurry vision, seeing double and other such vulnerabilities that came from blinding flash. In effort to respond to thrown shield his body would likely be already engaged in a reaction restricting response time to true movement. In twirling sprint the sickle in the dancer's hand sought to cleave angel in two as if she were a gyrating saw. Her advance shattering the sound barrier in the movement forward. Distance was minimal in standard combat let alone that of a speedster. She'd end violent circuit with a downward slash seeking to plant the angled blade deep in the angel's back.
