Atomikill was not one for ignorant people. And the older man seemed very, very ignorant. At least the child of the old one seemed to be more descriptive. Letting them know that their minds couldn't comprehend the reasons. So he figured to go with him. Plus if worse came to worse he might be able to defeat him using his inexperience against him. It was unlikely. But it was simple tactic.

So, he prepared himself- polishing his adamantium chestplates that expanded all across his body to cover him in armor and weapons- before stepping onto the cube that transported him. Seeing a flash of brilliant light before his eyes, he shielded them before appearing in what appeared to be some sort of scrappy refinery.

Now was where the fun began. Preparing himself, he carefully stepped toward the center of the refinery before seeing his enemy. Raising his hand he carefully pushed the gold button on his chest, the adamantium chest pieces unfolding to cover him in body armor. Now, the computer would help him figure out exactly what abilities this mystery figure could have...

Nothing. Absolutely nothing his computer could register. In fact, the thing had no pulse whatsoever. So this wasn't his foe... But he knew better than to go close to it. Turning he walked in another direction, before his computer beeped upon spotting something. A wire. Carefully he stepped over it, spotting the nozzle that would spray either fire or some other mystery substance toward him. As soon as he found his opponent, he would be sure to utilize that to his advantage. Atomikill decided the environment was too dangerous to walk around in the open with. Finding a large opening in a storage cabinet, he sat carefully to blend in with the metal scrap.

Now all he had to do was wait. Eventually his enemy would come by, and then... he readied his hands. One, atomic energy surged out of, the other holding the atomic grenades to absorb energy. It would make the grenades useless. But he could tell he would not be using them in this environment. Preparing for the worst, he gritted his teeth. Been a while since Atomikill had a good fight. Hopefully his foe would give him one.

Cold, dark, and damp the refinery was a bleak representation of a time long forgotten. The spiritual footprints riddled about the dilapidated steel construction coupled with the shrill shrieks of tormented souls hinted at the many present dangers in the surrounding area. Tranquil, dressed in his hooded Keijijo Elite robes with The Mask covering his humble features. Vested interest in the pursuit and elimination of his chosen opponent for the opening round of the KOV Tournament the Tranquil approached a spirit sauntering about the area aimlessly. Upon reaching close proximity to the ghostly figure the two locked gazes. What was a menacing grimace shifted to docile complacency as the spirit was rendered inert by heaven's eyes manipulative technique.

Invading the spirit's mind he discovered a recent encounter with his opponent. The Armor clad assailant seemed to be unfamiliar in dealing with spirits, or at the very least unwilling. This would be good to remember. With the soul under his persuasion Milo embedded a single purpose in its mind, seek out his opponent and destroy him. The menacing grimace returned and the apparition sauntered forward, headed towards the storage cabinet the opponent situated himself in. With his opponent preoccupied Milo studied his surroundings, looking for an advantage. The structural integrity of the building had no doubt faltered in the passing years and with the right amount of force in specific areas, the entire refinery could be brought down. To bury his opponent in a steely grave would a tactical victory, one he would work towards achieving step by step.

Moving about the facility with blinding speed the Tranquil embedded his geijutsu kunai in six focal points of the refinery. Upon removing a kunai, the specific area would be damaged internally. These shatterpoints would individually reveal little as they were destroyed but in culmination they would bring about the desired effect. Unwilling to execute the plan without the assurance that his opponent would not escape the destruction the Tranquil returned to the center of the refinery, watching closely as the apparition attempted to engage him.

"I don't believe my eyes. A spirit walker in this old dump?" A disembodied voice said, speaking softly so only Milo could hear. It felt as if lips were moving directly beside his ear, the sensation causing him to jerk his head to the side in search of whom it was speaking. "Spirit Walker? I know nothing of what you speak," he responded, frustrated by his inability to ascertain the location of this being he conversed with. "Your kind usually don't. Just know that I've got my eye on you."

Sh!t. This one had a way with words, at least to these... projections. Either that or his ghost pal wanted to visit. But it didn't matter. The result would be the same. Atomikill needed a gameplan, and he needed one two minutes ago. Looking around frantically through one of the slits in the storage cabinet door, he soon found what he was looking for. Government containment systems. Old and dusty, but most likely effective. The thing- which he now assumed was a ghost- now stood about five feet away.

It was now or never. Inhaling deeply, he burst out of the cabinet. His opponent knew he was there already- what was the point of hiding some more? Headed to the boxed up supplies, he punched a hole in it, pulling out a chrome, sleek weapon as he pointed it to the ghost. Screeching, it tried to charge him. But he wouldn't allow any sort of ghost to mess with Thomas Bastion.

Pressing the trigger the second the ghost got too close for comfort, a beam shot out hitting the thing square in the chest. Sucking the spirit into the gun-like weapon. Nice... This could be useful. Now he heard the voices of his foe and someone else. Must he face two opponents? Or was this other thing merely an apparition? Whatever the cause was, he would take down the main target. Whom he saw now. Nothing but a wall of crates separating them, he decided to go for what his suit was designed for. Physical prowess.

Charging the boxes, he smashed through them- letting out several of the government controlled drugs as he let the boxes collapse toward the target. Making sure his suit blocked out any harmful gases, he ran toward his opponent at speeds the human eye could not follow, attempting to send a punch for the jugular.

The discovery of the owner of the disembodied voice was a lost cause. Nonetheless Milo accepted this, believing anyone who attempts to hide from him a coward beneath his notice. With unconventional poise his opponent made use of an archaic, makeshift device to dispatch the adversarial spirit. A slow clap followed the capture of the apparition as the two exchanged casual glances. "Now I just have to ask, did you know that device was there or was it just pure dumb luck?" he questioned, truly uninterested in his opponent's response.

It seemed as if his opponent shared the same lack of interest as he remained silent, a sign a that his focus was purely in combat and survival at this point. With the two now standing before each other Milo sized up his opponent with his superior ocular prowess. A physical titan this man's armor allowed him to take damage as well as he could potentially dish it out. Judging by the molecular structure of the armor it was virtually unbreakable. But what really caught the Keijijo Kaze's eye was what lie beneath the armor. High levels of radioactivity led to the instantaneous deduction that this man was a mutant with the power to emit atomic energy.

The time for analysis was gone as quickly as it came, with his foe initiating the action. Much like the savage spirit the atomic adversary surged toward Tranquil head on. Between them sat a legion of crates, all housing a toxic chemical substance. Without any concern of exposure to the substance the man destroyed the crates in his path releasing the toxicity into the air. As an air yoso master, the Keijijo Kesemuno was able to filter out any gaseous abnormalities subconsciously. As long as he held his breath, the toxins would be no harm to him.

The scene played out in slow motion for one with Milo's speed and acute eyesight, interested in seeing what this man had to offer Milo folded his arms as he approached. Upon reaching close proximity, the image of Milo split into five. At the moment the strike connected the clone was sent flying back, the sheer force of the blow capable of shattering steel. When the clones body connected with the wall, chunks of debris buried its form just before dissipating. Naturally the opponent would be led to think that the force of the collision would be the cause of this. In truth the clone had made contact with one of the aforementioned kunai, dislodging it and thusly setting the plan in motion.

With the four doppelgangers remaining the opponent would be hard pressed to decipher which being was the true opponent as these clones were exact replicas in every facet anatomical definition. Using this to his advantage the four surged towards the opponent with speed well beyond that which he demonstrated previously. They approached from different angles and the one who appeared in front of the armored assailant seemed to be mere milliseconds faster than rest. In hopes of catching his foes off guard with the sudden approach this clone attempted to lock gazes with the man. If successful Milo would be granted access to his opponent's mind and would attempt to effect his control over his power, forcing him to emit volatile levels of atomic energy in an attempt to slowly drain him of his stamina. Meanwhile the other three would attempt forceful palm strikes to his left and right shoulder as well as the center of his spine. If these open palm strikes landed they would place geijutsu seals on the opponent that would paralyze the respective areas.

@tranquil:

At first, Atomikill was taken by surprise by the clones. But as he usually did, he hid this surprise under his vibranium-lined faceplate. They were fast- faster than he just went. He'd have to be careful when in close combat against the real one. But, which one was the real one? There was only one way to find out. Take them all down.

As his suit began flashing him lightning fast directions that he had calibrated into the software, he swiftly used his martial arts skill to counter the clone who seemed fastest- grabbing him by the throat before eye contact could be made and using him like a ragdoll to hit the rest of the dupes. Then, he would snap the neck of the one he had grabbed. Atomikill would not show mercy- at least not to a bunch of fake illusions. They were merely tools of his opponents creation.

The whole scenario reminded him of when he had taken revenge for his brothers death. He had walked in, guns blazing, fists flying, and took them all down. An entire gang vs. one man. Anyone with a small amount of intelligence would have voted against him. However, he had come out on top. They'd used similar tactics to the one his foe used. Surrounding him, then beating on him. But that failed to cease his guns.

Speaking of guns... he drew his pistol and fired three shots toward the masked man. One bullet went straight for the mask- if he could remove it he just might be able to poison him with the gases in the air and his atomic radiation, ending the fight quickly. Two others went toward his feet. The mystery figure obviously could dodge bullets- but he doubted the man could possibly know about the miniature atomic bombs that would go off when the bullets hit their mark.

No stranger to combat the virulent opponent aptly disposed the clones catching the first one in the act of illusion induction and using its body to bat away the rest the moment they arrived. Revealing the true Milo to be the one directing an attack towards the spine, his body was sent flying upon contact, whereas the others were reduced to a plume of smoke the moment damage was received. Mid flight Milo was forced to activate his teleporting technique, his body resurfacing beside another of the embedded Kunai ten meters away. Quickly freeing the weapon he teleported to the next one, narrowly avoiding a myriad of aged steel columns that collapsed.

As he relinquished the other kunai Milo dashed forward, the first step accentuated by the activation of the lightning yoso. His pupils adopted a pure pulsating white hue as his body was enveloped in a raging blue aura. With the speed of a lightning bolt he attempted to close in on his foe, yet his travels were impeded. A bullet clocked his forehead, denied penetration by both the impregnable defense of the mask and the shielding of the Lightning, yet this was simply the first tier of the attack. Unaware of the bullet's true lethality Milo continued in stride, only to be completely thrown off course by a series of chained explosions. His body tumbled through the air as they went off. The strength of these explosions not only deactivated the lightning aura, but left Milo's clothing ripped and tattered as his vessel skid along ground.

Struggling to his feet Milo shook his head and climbed to a crouched position, allowing himself a moment to recollect his thoughts. In his mind he formulated a plan of action based on the information gathered from this exchange. His eyes analyzed the area of the blast and high amounts of radiation filled the area. It seemed the bullets were supercharged with the same atomic energy his foe possessed. No doubt all his offensive gadgetry was capable of such highly explosive potency. The Lightning Aura had absorbed the brunt of an attack that may have killed Milo. Coming this close to death as well as the realization that his opponent had the intentions of showing no mercy the Keijijo Kaze decided to unleash his ultimate technique.

A torrent of winds slowly swirled around his form, picking up the dust and small debris scattered across the area. In a flash of extraordinary illumination Milo was enveloped in a skin tight, orange reddish aura. A great spiritual pressure filled the entire refinery. The weathered structure was propelled to its breaking point by the sheer might of Milo's chi. Now the removal of just one more would bring this facility down around their ears. Using air yoso Milo swept the kunai he was wielding before the explosion up off the ground. The moment they fell into his hands he nigh instantaneously closed the gap between his opponent and himself. In a single femtosecond five slashes with the kunai in his left hand were directed for areas with the least amount of protection, such as his foe's joints and neck. Simultaneously his right hand executed a sleight that would place the kunai it held behind his opponent. Upon conclusion of the final slash the kunai would be dropped and Milo's would teleport to the location of the kunai placed behind the atomic adversary.

"Let's see you dodge this," he said with a smile, acknowledging his long history of battles before using a technique he'd faced in an encounter with Amaranth Strix. Using Heaven's eyes Milo removed his physical self from this plane of existence. A realistic image remained, rendering him for all intents and purposes intangible. Once intangible he rushed down on his opponent completely inhabiting their physical form and once inside he attempted to resolidify in the hopes of producing two effects. Firstly the hardiness of the flash cloak's shield would be strong enough to potentially wreak havoc on each and every one of his internal organs and muscle tissue, crushing them with pure force. Secondly the flash cloak's energy absorption properties would intend upon soaking up the atomic energy within his molecules, effectively draining the opponent of their power.

@tranquil:

Atomikill felt satisfaction course through his veins as he smacked his opponent away without even realizing it. He considered it stupid that he had assisted his clones in attacking, instead of simply making them do all the work. However there was honor in not fighting with clones all the time, and he accepted that.

As he saw the figure get up, he noticed the blue aura around him. Dangerous, perhaps, in physical combat. However, not against bullets- or explosions. Firing, he grinned openly as the bullets sent his foe flying back again. Resistant to the explosions he created- as he simply absorbed the atomic radiation- he started to walk toward the crumpled life form that was his prey. But his prey was not ready to die.

Getting up, his foe glowed a bright orange color as rocks and other small things floated around him. It was at this time Atomikill happened to notice the building was moments away from being brought down. And he kept in mind his foe was preparing for his strongest attack- it was obvious, since he had not shown this raw power before.

Acknowledging the fact that he could possibly be mere milliseconds away from death, he drew his gun in the blink of an eye, firing at the last few structural strong points that held the building together. If this worked, and his foe didn't use his speed to catch the bullets, the building would be brought down on them both.

Not knowing his spiritual opponents durability in his orange/red state, he hoped it'd be enough for the kill as he prepared for the rubble to overtake him. He had means to escape- his belt full of weaponry guaranteed that- but was unsure if when he got out of the hundreds of rocks that his prey wouldn't be ready for him. But now was not the time to worry about that. Atomikill would have his time to worry.
