The silver climbing axe broke through the icy Tibetan mountain, Ronin pulled himself up, taking another step higher, his muscles stabbing with pain. The cold was beginning to seep through his black mask and affect his vision, barely allowing him to see through the blizzard. Oz had underestimated the weather, not realizing the severity of the snow storm. He'd had become sloppy these passed few days, looking for his friend and leader Kenshin, the clues had taken him all across the world. Now with very little sleep, a fatigued body, and a dropping body temperature, he wished he was somewhere warmer and as if his prayer were heard, a bright light engulfed him.
The ninja lowered his hands from his face, realizing he was no longer cold, his body no longer ached, and he felt well rested. Had he died and gone to heaven? No, these men were too goofy to be god, their spastic movements and wacky entrance had proven that. They were beings of great power though, powerful enough to imprison his friend Kenshin... Could the two be The Last Samurai's jailers? There was only one way to find out. Ronin peeled off the winter jacket, taking a glance at the hosts, he exhaled then took a final step into the cube.
The same bright light consumed Ronin, causing him to squeeze his eyelids shut. The sense deprivation that came with this celestial form of transportation was broken by rhythmic sounds of machinery and the poignant smell of farming, which was a very strange combination. Oz opened his eyes, giant, eerie facility revealed before him, with a mixture of metal and plant life surrounding him.
Ozzy Winters knew this was no time for sight seeing, he swiftly darted off heading towards the most common place a computer would be in a facility like this, his instincts were not wrong, he had found one in no time. He leaned over the chair and towards the keyboard, pressing a few keys and breaking through the firewall in seconds, he pulled an extension cord from his gauntlet, plugging it into the computer and downloading the blueprints of the building. Ronin knew there would be super powered beings in this competition, so he wouldn't be pulling any punches considering he had no powers of his own.
The ninja pulled out an explosive, attaching it to the computer, he wouldn't allow his opponent to do the same reconnaissance. Ronin stepped back into the shadows as the explosion echoed through the building, there was no telling if Ronin would make the last attack of this soon to be hellish fight, but he would certainly make the first.
