Into the Electric Castle Ooc

Ok guys, I'm going to try and make this as simple as possible. This is an rpg based off of the concept album, "Into the Electric Castle," by Ayreon. Now this will sound complicated, but if I can keep everyone's attention, this should be a doable rpg.

First, here are some questions for those of you who are interested in joining.

There are 8 characters in the story. Should our version be open to everyone, or should there only be 8.

In the original story, one of the characters is left behind to die. Should we do this part?

All of the characters in the story have clashing personalities. Do you guys want to choose a certain personality to have, or is everyone's character's personality good enough?

And last of all, is this too complicated to be an rpg, or can we pull it off?

The story will be based on this guy, this "Foreverer of the Stars." He and his people lost their emotions a long time ago, and he has brought everyone to a new dimension. The point of this is to experience the emotions of the travelers as they pass through different tests. I'll be coming up with several tests that would display or abuse human emotion, such as angry, sadness, humility, joy, desperation, grief, and things like that.

If anyone has any ideas that would help smooth the process and/or make this more enjoyable by everyone, please post them here, or send them to me in a Pm.

I've gotta say that the basis for the RPG is really interesting. This album sounds incredible especially with weaving a story like that.
