If Your Character Lost Their Powers!

Lets say your character upset some ancient being that had a short temper, so with a wave of his finger you lose your powers and physical abilities!

How would your character react?

What would they do for a job?

Would they still fight?

Would they try to get their powers back?

Could they survive 25 years as a normal everyday person?

How would your character react? - Ivana would be upset. Her powers and physical abilities are key to her identity; she was raised as a vehicle to deliver her powers.

What would they do for a job? - She couldn't remain a Strigidae. A woman of average physical abilities and no powers simply cannot operate on that level, no mater how many styles she knows.

Would they still fight? - Perhaps, but very rarely.

Would they try to get their powers back? - It would be her lives work.

Could they survive 25 years as a normal everyday person? - Probably. Regular people do, Ivana could too.

He's lost them before. He became an Archer.

Angel's powers keep him alive, he just up and loses them he goes ka-put.

How would she react? I'm not sure, really. Might be glad. Might be disappointed and wish she had them back, even if just because they're gone.

Job? Well, she's been getting by on family wealth for some time now.

Fight? Of course. She doesn't really use her powers now much anyway, so yeah.

Try to get them back? She'd probably take the opportunity if it was conceivably presented, but probably not go out of her way to try to discover a way to bring them back out of nowhere.

As a normal, everyday person? Probably. But she'd probably not do that.

If Last Pyre lost his powers he would cease to exist. So the questions a void for him.

Peter on the other hand would probably be over the moon that he no longer has a demon inside him.

He would probably look to do a simple job.

Well, He wouldn't lose his powers. Since he's powered by a group of omnipower, near reality warping old god. So, one he loses his powers, the Olympians will just zap him with more...

How would your character react? Shocked, at first. He'd probably fall on his head, since he'd probably be hanging upside down reading a comic. He might be a bit relieved later, green skin not being all that good of a thing to have.

What would they do for a job? He'd been training with Genesis Incorporated for over a year, but they wouldn't keep him. He'd likely move back home and go back to school. He'll have no problems getting finding a job.

Would they still fight? Nothing beyond beating up a guy stealing a woman's purse every once in a while.

Would they try to get their powers back? He'd be curious as to why they were taken away, but wouldn't really try that hard to get them back.

Could they survive 25 years as a normal everyday person? Easily. He'd been sort of wanting to live a normal life.

How would your character react? Calmly. When Quintus was on the opposing side Amaranth considered him a huge threat due to his ability to nullify Amaranth's greatest advantages; powers and skill. As such his preparation for Quintus involved a great deal of preparing to lose his powers in the midst of battle. Amaranth is ready.

What would they do for a job? The same thing he does now. His tactics might change, but his goals would not.

Would they still fight? Of course.

Would they try to get their powers back? Absolutely.

Could they survive 25 years as a normal everyday person? Yes. That's the blink of an eye to Amaranth.

How would your character react? He was kinda annoyed when it first happened. Assumed he'd never be able to be a hero. But luckily he had friends who showed him you could become a hero without powers, it was only by chance he gained them back. But. If he'd never have gotten them back? He would have become a vigilante.

What would they do for a job? He'd do exactly the same as before. But without powers.

Would they still fight? Yes. With his bow and arrow!

Would they try to get their powers back? Yes. And he did. After stealing artifacts and venturing back into Venezuela for his ring.

Could they survive 25 years as a normal everyday person? Easily.

How would your character react? Freak out for a moment, then calm down with time.

What would they do for a job? He has a company =P

Would they still fight? With the armour, yes.

Would they try to get their powers back? Yes.

Could they survive 25 years as a normal everyday person? Perhaps. He survived 21, he can survive 4 more years.

Jon Angar the Bear would be the way he was before the Breath attack on the fleet he was apart of happened.

What would they do for a job? Probably continue with what he does now.

Would they still fight? Till he got to old or badly injured

Could they survive 25 years as a normal everyday person? pretty easily

My character would ask for help from some heros and if she got them back she would seek revenge and if they failed she would continue her every day life

Dave- yes to all because his only power is his healing factor

Oliver - well it depends he is a cyborg if he loses that he dies but if he doesnt then yes

Xavier- has no super powers just his suit so probably Yes to all

Donald- would probably be happy to lose his powers as he would no longer have to deal with the Rift, he could still do his job but he will not fight, he would not try to get his powers back, and yes he would survive 25 years as a normal person!

This really depends on whether Tyrant keeps his demon physiology. His bulletproof skin is a natural part of his body. Of course, for this I just assume he'll become the human whose body he's bonded with.

He'll react poorly for sure. However, he'll calm down quick and find a way back to Flipside to figure something out.

He would still be useful to Flipside, so he could work there while he works on regaining his powers.

He would avoid fighting before he regains his powers.

He would immediately start trying to regain power by drinking from the Tyrant Vial. This would probably reawaken his powers quickly.

Probably. He understands human culture and is still very helpful to Flipside.
