What one character would you want to see brought over from Prime to the CVnU that has yet to have a new U version created?

I'm pretty sure I tried to start a detective agency with Zem. >_>
It's possible I lost him in the site reboot though. D:

Cassidy O'Rourke just to see her interact with the likes of NuMercy and Quintus.

#15 Posted by Mercy_ (92629 posts) - - Show Bio

@closure: There's technically already a Cassidy O'Rourke in CVnU.

And I went through so many phases with her, it'd really depend which version of her was brought over for how she'd interact with Mercy and Q.

I think that could be pretty epic.

Each personality has control of the body for a specific period of time before it alternates. Surkit always has to race against the clock to counter or undo what his Flucks side has done before losing control again.

He is Grimm City's greatest hero and villain and the city is either at war or peace depending on what side is currently dominant.

Lot of ways you could play with that concept, I would put some thought into that for sure.

@armistice: Thanks man.(I didn't even know you knew about that) I just logged in to start outlining the ideas too. There's a lot of different venues I could go down and I'm not sure which way to go so it could take a while, couple weeks even but it'll happen

Even after leaving Prime I still would check back in here and there, far from knowledgeable but I picked up a few things here and there.

Hell you could have a hero and villain team with the same leader

@armistice: If there's such thing as an RPG Magnum Opus that was def mine. Dropped so many eggs and hints along the way and was surprised when other people were surprised

lol that'd be wild, I did it for a while but it was more fun when it wasn't obvious. If I went about it now though I'd be trip up, OOC facts obscuring IC actions and what not. Course my mind changes like water so it's even I can't write it off.

@surkit:

I had a discussion earlier today on here where I referenced how hard it is to do a complex idea with subtle clues because no one can keep up with a single character enough to follow the bread crumbs with all the different schedules and goings on. I can catch some here and there and PM the writer to mention it as not to spoil it if I'm right, but I am sure I have missed a ton.

I have dropped quite a few about Armistice (Prime and CVnU) and 90% have never been questioned once, there are just too many needles in the haystack.

@armistice: Lookin back I'd have to say it's better to drop the bread crumbs, let people step past them, then when they see the end result point to the trail and watch jaws drop lol

#24 Posted by Armistice (4051 posts) - - Show Bio

@flucks:

Yeah, but if people cannot follow the trail they tend to not stay invested in continuing the search.I perfer the subtle route but it just does not work on here worth a damn.

#25 Posted by _Titan (3362 posts) - - Show Bio

@armistice: Trying to get people to search is pointless no doubt. I spent a solid year laying so many eggs and nobody caught on. I've realized that with general storylines too, people will assume your writing a slow or weak story because it starts that way. I like to do RPG's that progressively escalate and it's because of that a lot of them die; lack of attention spans/attention to the details.

The best thing to do is focus on the end result and reveal it when you're ready. I spent a solid....9 months I think building up the reveal and it payed out. Only thing I regret is waiting until after the reboot.

@flucks:

I decided to just lay any character secrets/hints within closed RPG's (like with Mercy) and my old team thread(Sovereigns) and not even bother anywhere else as at least there I expect the people involved to read the majority of the posts. Expecting the entire Vine to do the same is simply asking too much.

There is one giant neon sign one I left in my team thread I posted as a test, yet not a single member ever caught it. LOL

@_fuse_:

I can honestly say I read every post in my team thread word for word.

The rest of the Vine.....lot of skimming

That might just work, give it a shot

@armistice: Maybe. I've done it in the past but it was tedious. Need to be sure it's worth it first.
