The Seven Daimyo

Elite masters of the metaphysical and the first teachers of there arts. Each was a master of a special set of techniques and abilities now used by the Keijijo Clan. Their existence brought about a time of peace in a warring feudal Japan. Through their instruction the men and woman of these time became enlightened, their eyes opened to the universal influences invested in everyday life. Yet all would not remain as is. When the Daimyo passed, so did the peace they had made possible. The clans, once united in esoteric teachings now began to enter conflict once again, envy and greed guiding their kindred spirits to what they knew best, war. In time the Daimyo's most prodigious pupils developed into a triumvirate that systematically eliminated all but the most devoted of students, unifying them under one banner, the Keijijo. And the rest as they say is history.

In the year 2013 the Keijijo Clan lives, under the tutelage of the latest Impero, Ishin. After fending off various clan's in a violent war and then achieving ultimate victory in the Kami no Ken tournament the Kejijo disciple ascended to the Chief position. In his time as leader Ishin trained many pupils, one of which was Milo Archer. A Baltimore born mutant turned mercenary. The two developed the bond of master and student in their time together.

During this time, a futuristic evil developed a plot to dethrone the Impero. With great knowledge of Keijijogaku and the power to impose his will upon all that he see's, the egregrious conqueror, dubbed the Glorious sought to revive the seven Daimyo. With their great power at his disposal the Impero would have no choice but to submit to his wishes or perish.

As the clock ticks the Daimyo grow closer to their Resurrection. Will Ishin and his protege be strong enough to combat the architects of metaphysical arts? Or will the Glorious succeed in his efforts?

This is pretty accurate, even more if you read his trajectory in Animevice, there he never lost a fight as his characters always had a Plan B, and the fights he "lost" were only because he allowed the other to win to make them part of some scheme, or he used the Doombot Rule, you never fought him directly. The one thing I learnt after playing against him is that trying to win is futile

@Glorious: Nice.

@Impero: Badass post. Never thought I'd ever see an inkling of emotion from Ishin.

@Tranquil: Haha, what Glorious did was just enough. He's made of ice but at the moment he's basically against the Jesus Christ figures of his clan :P

The power of Ishin in the palm of my hands and kick ass sword to top it off? Hell yeah. xD

@kuma_far: Warsman defeated him. Jus sayin.

@kuma_far: If you look at it properly, anytime someone loses a fight or gets in one, it may be possible for there to be some gain, whether it be a better understanding of what they're up against, or getting the enemy to outright tell you what they're doing. A ton of things, actually.

@Arquitenens: Mark my words I played with him for two years he never lost a fight that he didnt wanted too.

Nobody does. Kinda part of the rules.

There is that there. Unless someone godmods your character and you feel upset but don't call them on it, you never really don't choose what goes on. Even then, though, I guess you do, by choosing not to call them on it. I dunno. I most often go in with the sole purpose of losing as least horribly as possible.

@Arquitenens:@Tranquil: When it starts to happen you'll notice and you'll remember my words here

Talk about putting it all on the line. Great post.

#26 Posted by Impero (6446 posts) - 3 months, 9 days ago - Show Bio

@Tranquil: Haha thanks man. Ishin's always been like that. Nearly died in the NY Invasion months back, saved by one of LL's alts. Should have died against Warsman but he let me live :P

There was no escaping this one though. But you know, now I'm gonna come at Glorious harder than ever for revenge ;)
