When master chief was still pretty much a kid he killed three of the hardest ODST's with his bare hands during a training exercise. plus not to mention all the attention that the spartans get. The ODST's for the most part respect the spartans but still dislike them. they often refer to them as freaks and sometimes wont even call them human.

The Spartans replaced us, when they first aeppeared they where seen as a threat we still had to do everything they did but we never had the power they did. We dropped into hell and lost a lot of friends as they walked into the fray with no problems! yes we just love them.
