@cara_hunter: (She was born and raised in Gothic City, but she doesn't live here anymore, it's just her hometown. She lives in Ian aka Armistice home in California. But she'll go to Gothic City from time to time.)
Gothic City [CVnU: Living Location]
@honor_girl: (Ahhh, but is there a california location thread lol?)
@cara_hunter: (there's a Los Angeles Location thread lol why?)
@honor_girl: (so they can meet up after Chicago :P)
@cara_hunter: (FYI You don't need to live here to RP here)
@zaniel: (I know I just thought HG live here :P)
@cara_hunter: (Gotcha :)
Looks like a nice enough place.... if you define nice as full of insane criminals and high ranking corrupt individuals. Looks like I- no, we've got some work to do!
She was right, he hadn't just commited a crime, he had just killed a man in front of a child when it wasn't necessary. He could have just hit him in the leg, but he made his choice. The child had gone through enough drama for one night, she doesn't need more. Looking at both of them he said. "First we'll get the child to safety, I have a safe house not far from here, we have to keep her off the streets until it all calms down in Gothic. Now focusing his attention to Pyrogram he said in a tone that was slightly more bitter than usual. "We'll deal with this later".
Vengeance then reaches for the left button in his utility belt which calls for his car, the dark machine enters the scene as silent as the nights in the countryside and the bullet proof glass opens up waiting for Honor girl enter the car with the girl. Without looking at Pyro he says "Try to keep up".
@darkknightdetective: @pyrogram
(WHOOP! I'M RIGHT! I mean erm... I'll post after Pyro xD)
@pyrogram: @strigidae_23: (If you guys still wanted to do what you were, you should probably go ahead. You see I'm just holding up)
@the_undying_tombstone: @lady_liberty:
Sorry for keeping you guys too, I'll post today.
@arquitenens: I can wait personally, but I'll let @lady_liberty decide.
@honor_girl: @darkknightdetective: (Why do you both think he was not committing a crime? -He was xD Kidnapping a child(Do yo think Pyro just casually walks around with an abandoned child? rofl) Anyways. I'll post soon hehe)
@pyrogram: (well apparently I guess killing the child kindnapper is still a no no xD)
@cara_hunter: (I don't mind that. But they said the guy committed no crime, which was wrong. In my country stealing a child is sorta against the law <_<)
@pyrogram: (Well maybe in Gothic it isn't xD)
@cara_hunter: (Looks like it xP)
@pyrogram: (I said the guy didn't kill anyone :P I never said he didn't commit a crime. Nicole is against killing, she believes heroes should't resort to killing unless it's kill or be killed)
@honor_girl: (Yeah but Dark V said "She was right, he hadn't just committed a crime" And then you said "WHOOP! I'M RIGHT" So I assumed you agreed :P)
@pyrogram: (I just got excited cause he's gonna scold you later :P well... maybe... hopefully >_> LOL xD)
@feral_nova: (He? Scold me? He is the been whos been missing for the last....forever! LOL)
@pyrogram: (he didn't kill someone in front of a little girl though :P)
@feral_nova: (I don't really care about the girls feelings, if it stops her getting kidnapped big deal :P )
She was right, he hadn't just commited a crime, he had just killed a man in front of a child when it wasn't necessary. He could have just hit him in the leg, but he made his choice. The archer looked over at Vengeance with a displeased look "How was your holiday?" Shaking his head he then gazed upon Honor Girl with less than keen eyes "And you need to learn some situation judgement....don't just assume what your pretty little eyes tell you" His eyes slowly shifted back over once the car arrived, his fellow Paragon entered awaiting Honor Girl as Pyro rested his arms on his hips speaking sarcastically "Aww, are we playing mummy and daddy?" Slinging his emerald bow over his shoulders he sighed "You two can go frolic about in that..." He pointed to the dark defenders car "...While I stop the real criminals, stop these kidnappers while you play the self righteous pretentious heroes?" He nodded "No wonder this place has so much crime...nobody actually DOES anything other than skulk around in the dark brooding for hours on end then going on holiday when it gets too tough?" Pyro folded his arms staring at Honor Girl, gesturing to the car "Go play mommy".
@honor_girl: (Yeah but Dark V said "She was right, he hadn't just committed a crime" And then you said "WHOOP! I'M RIGHT" So I assumed you agreed :P)
I didn't mean he as in the kidnapper, I meant you Pyro, it wasn't JUST a crime.
@darkknightdetective: (I don't understand?)
@pyrogram: Like for example, you didn't just step on my foot, you broke it,
@darkknightdetective: ( I don't get the original reference though. What was DV thinking? )
@pyrogram: Exactly in the same context, you didn't commit a common crime like stealing or whatever, you killed someone.
@darkknightdetective: ( Well DV commits crimes all the time, he can't call anybody out :P )
@pyrogram: But he never killed anybody. And I'm not going to call you out.
@darkknightdetective: (Killing is not bad. American Justice System has the death penalty for a reason)
@darkknightdetective: (Killing is not bad. American Justice System has the death penalty for a reason)
I think the whole superheroes killing thing kinda sits here.
@pyrogram: No, but it doesn't mean that one person can take the decision.
@pyrogram: To be fair, the way America does things is by no means a perfect reason for "this should be done, this way." But still, things kill. That's just gonna happen. Animals in the wild kill. Eating grass is killing. It's all killing. It's not inherently bad to kill.
@darkknightdetective: @_strigidae_:
Exactly. Killing is part of nature. Anybody denying that is out of touch with nature. It's literally the way of life in the wild. Also Gothic is at war right now. So it's warzone killing now lol
I'm just saying one person doesn't have the right to choose if the other lives. Even if the person is horrible.
@darkknightdetective: Would you say the same to a lion killing an attacker trying to eat its young? Or a solider killing an enemy during war?
@pyrogram: But war is not a choice made by one person, and Lions don't have a sense of right and wrong.
@pyrogram: Killing is everywhere in nature but isn't the point of being a 'Hero' rising above things like that, being an example to everyone else?
@pyrogram: isn't the point of being a 'Hero' rising above things like that
The point of being a hero is providing people like me with targets.
@_strigidae_: Shiho is the biggest killer on the vine, her problem solving is killing :P
@amazingangel: Since when did a hero not Kill? Ancient Greek heroes killed all the time and some of the greatest heroes in history are ancient Greek. Hercules.
@darkknightdetective: Humans have said killing is wrong. The only animal on the planet. And yet we are the only animal on the planet to kill out of spite and greed. I don't buy mass hypocrisy.
@pyrogram: I was talking about Abby!
@kratesis: I want to fight you.
@_strigidae_: I was just pointing our your character hypocrisy :P
@_strigidae_: You're 'bout to get a good reason.
I can't disagree with that because it's true. Some say it because they truly believe it and some say it because it's the ethical thing to say. Whatever the reason is, we avoid killing because we don't want to see that dark side of ourselves come out into the open. At least most of us do.
@darkknightdetective: True. But saying heroes don't kill is absurd. As I said to Angels, some of the greatest heroes in history kill. Wolverine is a modern example.
