In them was written a quenched need but still more a burning desire. One kiss was never enough. Her lips curled into an enchanted smile as he spoke. The serpentine women certainly had never been told she was anything near the best kiss one had ever experienced. A cynicism tried to break her spell-bound moment thinking this man was somehow lying, for some reason. She relied so much on her pheromones and hypnosis to cause men to do her will, think as she wanted them to, she couldn't tell what was reality and what was fiction. But the hopeless hedonist would take what she could get. Anything for a night of physical pleasure she had so long been denied. She leaned forward to grip his shirt in her gloved hands as his hand slid up her shapely thigh. "Oh, no where near enough, love..."
The reptilian femme fatale released her hold on him, dumping her cigarette and restoring her holder to her golden clutch, before she stood to her feet. She hungrily latched onto his arm to draw him up and from the dingy bar to her Gothic City abode.

"Everybody wants what everybody else has." A slow voice stated, a chuckle between the words. The thin smile of Curve was seen in the moonlight, as he stepped out of the shadows. Sitting across from him was a mister Branden Grey- fat, businessman, well known for real estate. More known for ridiculous real estate prices. Curve's jade green hair fell in front of his face as he leaned in close to the tied up man. Charcoal eyes glaring. "I mean, who doesn't want what you have? Money, homes, a loving wife and family..."
The tied up man screamed, remembering what the insane clown had done to his family. The car accident was obviously on purpose. A fire truck vs. A Mustang, it was obvious which car'd win that encounter, especially when the fire truck exploded afterwards. "When they find you. And, trust me, whether it is Vengeance or Pendragon or even Miss Pierce herself, I don't care. When they find you... They'll get my message." His huge grin seemed to widen even more. Pulling away the gag and showing the rich Mr. Grey a mirror, he revealed the scars of a smile that'd been cut upon the flesh. Grey's scream and Curve's laugh were simultaneous, as the moonlight showed Curve's full uniform.
In-spite of being treated as though it had been an unattended septic tank for the morally malnourished ranks of villainy, Gothic City continued to endure like no other city before it. Serving its community, if only through symbolic gesture, by simply refusing to surrender, refusing to crack. Bent but never fully broken, Gothic was both celebrated for its triumphant heroes and hated for its incubation of evil. In the mind of the Superior Sapien however it was a home away from home, reminiscent of the Motor City in nearly every aspect of post modern economics, as well as an overwhelming sense that a strong unwavering community could overcome the endless siege of death, violence, and corruption. Whether through its iconic heroes such as the Emerald Archer, who, since having taken a more pro-active political stance within the city, had nearly cut the crime rate in half. Or through the shadowy machinations of the vigilant vigilantly Dark Vengeance, Gothic City survived.
Now it was time to start giving back to the city that had lost so much and given even more. Old and new money had slowly began to return Gothic to a position of national prominence and pride. The NFL had even begun entertaining the notion of planting an expansion franchise inside the city along with a tax approved concession that would see the city awarded a brand new multi-million dollar stadium. In the midst of the heightened renovation, the High-Life Highlight had opened up a Nike sponsored fall football camp for underprivileged children. Mentoring the athletes of tomorrow by day and then decompressing in the myriad of Gothic City's notorious clubs and nightlife. An amalgamation the role model had perfected. Though occasionally Garrison Grail had found himself in the headlines for some not so flattering altercations. Such as the now infamous Justice Bieber headlock incident, and not to be outdone, the Ray Rice throat punch scuffle outside one of the city's old-town pizzerias.
Swarmed by several late night after hour patrons who had all been invited to accompany the slightly inebriated superstar to the only remaining Waffles House in the recovering metropolis, Garrison and his entourage indulged the autograph seekers and celebrity whores. Opting to enjoy their company rather then pretentiously position himself above the people. After all, his father had been a blue collar auto-worker for years, his mother, god rest her soul, had been a career waitress. Beyond the arrogance, beyond the narcissistic obsession with himself, beyond the charmingly frustrating good looks, the Holy Grail was a man of the people, his people. He would never forget that.

On one hand, I'm mad that the Oded Fehr casting rumor didn't pan out. But on the other hand, it allows me to delude myself into believing he could be cast as Doctor Strange.
