(This takes place Prior to the creation of Paradise and Fear)
Victor sat at a table in the middle of a bar, sipping on a glass of the finest wine the bar had. Tasting nothing but bitter liquid he pushed the urge to purge the bar from fools who serve such sludge. Looking around the room as if everyone was a potential threat, his eyes darted everywhere and fell upon the bartender once more. He flagged him down with a gesture and he came to the table personally “Yes sir?” Victor looked at the man and asked “Anyone in here besides myself you don’t recognize?” The man looked around and then back to Victor “No sir, your the only new person here. Rest are usual, need anything else?” Victor shook his head and the bartender left. He looked down at a card he was playing with between his fingers, flipping it over it shined in the light and read
“You have caught my eye, and you remind me of an old friend.” The rest went on to come to this bar, in the middle of nowhere. England was a vast place and had many twists an turns. Victor knew of all the turns, and this bar was far enough out of the cities that surrounded it. Meaning that the man who called for him wanted this to be private. Or Victor thought, if it was to get messy the destruction of one small bar would go unnoticed. He fidgeted in his seat wondering why someone so quickly had found him, not three days ago he was creating “Paradise”.
Three Days Ago
Victor sat atop the newly built Plateau atop what would soon become known as Paradise, he looked out his balcony at the demons building what would soon become a grand city. Two cities actually, the Underground had been created swiftly with the help of the Demon Fives magic’s and demon energies. Now it was time to build the great city, as he looked out at his developing city he caught the scent of Velik. She walked up behind him, her body wrapped in a bed sheet. She slowly wrapped her arms around his waist, and bit his neck with a smile. She had taken on a more beautiful look. Her body transforming immediately as she and Victor made love for the first time, becoming Victors perfect dream. Her skin was orange as the setting sun, and her hair long an flowing and as black as the midnight sky. He almost held a form of love for her, but she was merely a Queen to his King. He brought his arm up and caressed her face as she laid her chin on his shoulder “Morning my queen, what a beauty you have become. Even my great city pales in your presence.” She chuckled softly and spoke “All for you my king, you brought me here with you. When you could of left me, that means I have struck a nerve no? My claws have sunk in deep havn’t they?” Victor chuckled loudly and swung her around to his front, kissing her deep “Not nearly as deep as they were in me last night.” The two laughed as they searched the rising sun. Soon their bliss was interrupted by the voice of a demon.
A low rank demon bowed down to Victor, falling to one knee and holding a bent arm out he spoke “My lord...” Victor stopped him “Please do not call me that....” The demon looked to Victor and rephrased what he was planning to say “Sicarius, there is an envelope that has been delivered to the North Spire. General Drajik attempted to seize the messenger, but he disappeared into the jungle.” Victor looked to the demon with a confused yet intrigued look. Gesturing for the demon to hand over the letter he did so with haste, pulling the letter out from behind him and handing it to Victor with open palmed hand. As Victor read it his facial expression changed from confusion to irritation. Inside the envelope was a letter, stamped with the sigil of the LoS clan. Gambler had found him, or he knew his power merit a look. Taking Veliks hand “Keep them building my Queen, I must deal with a potential situation.” Stretching his hand out to a chair his clothing levitated towards him. Dressing himself in white and grey he marched out, hearing Velik speak to him telepathically “Be safe my King, return home soon. My thirst is coming back to me.” She said sending him images of depraved sexual acts, he chuckled “Will do my Queen.”
Now
As Victor sat at his table, outside in the rain a limousine pulled up. As it stopped the door opened, and Jean had arrived.
