It was during the events of a misadventure called "Wheels of Time" that the course of Alceus' destiny was forever changed. The misadventure had him joining forces with some of the world's most prominent heroes to repair a dilemma that perverted the fabric of time and threatened to destroy the entire physical universe. This along with the emergence of the Great Old Ones and various other supernatural beings, only made the entire situation more difficult. However, it was during the time that he and his comrades traveled to the axis of time itself that Alceus was put in a position where he was able to see what his heart desired. And his heart desired to see what this secret Zeus is hiding from him really is. And what he saw before him, shocked him to say the least. Before him stood a faint apparition of a senior Olympian. The god revealed himself as Vasilias, Zeus' brother and Alceus' uncle, but the most shocking detail was that this Vasilias was in fact Olympus' original ruler after the defeat of the Titans. After having learned more from the brief encounter with his uncle, Alceus would wait until the universe was saved to confront his father Zeus with his newly acquired knowledge.
Storming the halls of Olympus with a white hot flame burning in his heart, Alceus' rage was apparent, even boastful Ares dared not stand in his brother's way. "Where is my father?", The Champion asked, tightly holding a male Olympian servant by the wrist. "He is in his throne room but-", the servant's words were cut short, "That's all I need", Alceus said, ignoring whatever the servant wanted to tell him. Pushing open the doors to his father's throne room, even Zeus knew that what the fates had told him prior to his son's creation was commencing... the Son of Olympus was going to become a thorn on Zeus' side. Sighing with exasperation, the elderly sky-father greeted his son, "Alceus, hello. It is good to see you. I would like to congratulate you on helping the mortals save the universe and-", Zeus was interrupted, "Shut up!", Alceus shouted angrily, his eyes filled with rage. "You and I both know why I'm here. There's no use stalling anymore father. I'm here for reasons you have tried to keep hidden from me. The reason why I no longer have my armor, helmet and gauntlets, only you can take them from me in such a way after all", Alceus said, "I know not of what you speak boy!", Zeus yelled. "Lies father! Your words are just lies. You claim not to know of what I speak of? You claim not to know of your own brother? Don't you remember Vasilias!?!", The Champion shouted. "W-What?", suddenly, Zeus' eyes began to widen with surprise, he was only aware of the fact that his son had discovered Vasilias' existence but not his brother's actual name. "Who is this Vasilias?", Zeus asked, acting completely innocent to Alceus' accusations. "You know damn well who he is. Your brother, my uncle. And Olympus' first ruler", Alceus continued relentlessly.
"Enough!", Zeus shouted angrily as a monstrous thunderclap roared in the skies of Olympus. "Oh? Are you going to banish me too? Prohibit me from seeing the rest of the Olympians from now on?!", The Champion snapped. "Because I don't want worship, I'm no longer welcome here too? Is that it!?", Alceus continued, causing Zeus' divine blood to boil. "Insolent child! I have heard enough of this! Vasilias was a fool and so are you!", Zeus shouted, his eyes glowing white. "He was a better man that you'll ever be! Know that Olympus won't be under your deceit for too long anymore, I will challenge your rule and Vasilias will return", mighty Alceus claimed boldly, implying that he may indeed wage war on his father's kingdom. Angered beyond belief, Zeus shot a lightning bolt at Alceus, however, the valiant hero managed to dodge the lightning bolt and quickly dashed towards Zeus, pulling back his fist and almost instantly ramming it on Zeus' face, knocking the sky-father through a series of pillars. "You are playing with flames that will burn you Alceus!", Zeus roared, and with a wave of his hand, shot Alceus with an energy blast, knocking him off his feet. And before the Son of Olympus could even establish physical contact with the floor, Zeus had grabbed him by the throat, lifting him in the air as Alceus struggled to break free from his father's hold. "You will never speak of Vasilias again!", Zeus yelled, only for Alceus to rebel, "No. I don't fear you. Vasilias is Olympus' true ruler and he will return and you will fall", and just before Alceus could say anything more, Artemis, Athena, Ares, Apollo, Hephaestus, Hermes, Dionysus and Hercules stormed into the throne room with angry faces. Perhaps they heard the entire conversation between Zeus and Alceus from behind the walls of the throne room.
Tossing Alceus towards them, Artemis and Athena quickly helped their brother get to his feet without hesitation. "We heard everything", Athena said, glaring at her father. "So these are your true colors huh father?", Alceus mocked without fear and hesitation. Artemis simply shook her head at the sight of the sky-father. No doubt that this entire ordeal not only strained Alceus' relationship with Zeus but it had caused a division in the Olympian family. "We will help Alceus seek out Vasilias. If what he says is true, then we have been following a leader I am ashamed to call a father", Artemis snapped as she and the rest of the younger gods left the throne room and ultimately Olympus, taking residence elsewhere as their search for Vasilias began and their preparations for war against their father as well.
