There's a lingering guilt in his heart. A deep seeded pain since his abrupt departure from London. "....." He's quiet, head resting on folded hand, whilst recollecting how abruptly he left Hayden inside that hospital. It wasn't characteristic for him to abandon someone, anyone, but he had too. He had a reason. A good reason too.
"You're the brother, correct?" His eyes darted upward, red with grief, and he kind of just stares right through her. "Yeah. Yeah." It's an unintentional stare, but he isn't used to fearing for someone else's life. He just has this blank expression, because he's not ready to accept this reality.
"Mister Pendragon, you can see your brother now." It's the first time he's heard someone call him by his new surname and it's odd hearing the words slip off her tongue, but it's suiting. Noah Pendragon.
"I'm so sorry. It's just I've been sitting here for hours." And it's hearing his last name that brings him back into the world, reminding him that although they weren't blood, Kurt was his family.
"Thank you." Noah spoke pleasantries against necessity , but after filing papers and talking to doctors the former elitist felt an overwhelming gratitude. It's that same gratitude that momentarily lightened his mood before entering the hospital room.
"Dammit, Kurt." To see his brother like this, without an arm, it'd be an emotional trigger had this taken place a year ago. However, in this moment he just stood still. He held his composure as strongly as he possibly could.
"When are you going to stop being a damn hero?" In mere moments his grief maintenance evolved into angry. "Why haven't you learned?" Although his anger might be wrongly perceived, especially considering he almost lost him, but Kurt should have known better. He didn't have his powers anymore, he was human for god's sake, but Noah knew all the truth in the world couldn't stop Kurt from being Kurt.
"You're so stupid, but I'm here. Do you hear me? I'm right here." He naturally extended his hand outward, clutching Kurt's only hand as tight as he could, hoping his brother would know his support would never falter. "And whomever was responsible....will get their due."

Some time ago, Noah Addams caught wind of a young man named Troy Walker. Keeping tabs on him from afar, with the full attention of assisting the kid, but a return trip to London kept him from doing anything worthwhile. Situations with Clarice and Hayden caused that, but when he got the call about Gothic City burning....Kurt's health became a top priority. Since his return the Son of Amaranth has dedicated his life into protecting his brother at all costs. Even if that means eventually combating his biological father.
This rpg takes place some time after Gothic Burns. Shit will most likely happen. I'm actually writing again so that's cool too. Also, pyrogram should bump our pm or maybe I will. Anyhow thanks for reading. You guys, gals, and everyone in between are the best :D
